It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

Ferguson is abusing Chelsea's lack of width in midfield. Full backs are left 1 v 2.

Rooney playing central midfield probably the main cause, probably where he'll end up playing when he's older. It doesn't really matter where he is on the pitch, always influential

    Few things learnt today............

    1. Need to get RVP in and captain him every single week until he retires.
    2. Glad I hung on to Bale
    3. Ba is looking ever more needed/essential.
    4. LUkaku will have a bandwagon of epic proportions
    5. Chelsea aren't as good as people think................so far.

Even in the combustible, fiercely tribal Premier League, where the fans’ unconditional love of their teams is matched only by their implacable hatred of everyone else, Terry inspires a special degree of loathing.

A Rooney goal would be nice at some point, too.
