It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

      Nope. Last Everton player to touch the ball, clearance was inside the penalty area. Thus, Baines assist 🙂

      The ball can be out of the box, the defender clearing it has to be in the box.

      Honestly dont know why you sold him. Merseyside derby has average over 3 goals in recent years and Suarez scored in 2 of their last 3 meetings. Mind you, he can be frustrating to own i grant you!

          Ahh, no way would I sell Ba given the fixtures.
          Suarez probably not either unless it is for funds or for United striker, that said..you have to remember what he is like. He will be dangerous all game but he always is.
