There’s a couple of top-flight encounters to entertain us this afternoon. QPR prepare for the visit of Reading, with both sides looking for their first win of the season, before Liverpool play host to Newcastle at 4pm. As always, our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is open and available ahead of the early Loftus Road showdown:

The team news from Loftus Road is in and is as follows:

QPR Starting XI: Cesar; Bosingwa, Ferdinand, Nelsen, Traore; Mackie, Diakite, Granero, Taarabt; Hoilett; Cisse

Mark Hughes makes three alterations from the side that narrowly lost 1-0 at Arsenal last weekend. Stephane Mbia drops out through suspension, with Anton Ferdinand coming in at centre-half. Jamie Mackie is preferred to Shaun Wright-Phillips on the right flank and Djibril Cisse replaces Bobby Zamora as the lone forward.

Reading Starting XI: McCarthy; Gunter, Gorkss, Morrison, Shorey; McCleary, Leigertwood, Tabb McCleary, McAnuff; Hunt, Roberts

Brian McDermott makes four changes from the side that drew 3-3 at home with Fulham last time round. In defence, Chris Gunter replaces Shaun Cummings at right-back, while Sean Morrison comes in at centre-half, with Adrian Mariappa dropping out. Elsewhere, Garath McCleary is preferred to Jimmy Kebe on the right flank and Pavel Pogrebnyak is omitted from the first XI for the first time this term, with Noel Hunt partnering Jason Robert in a front two.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Begovic - (Julio Cesar)
    Baines - Walker - McCartney - (Hughes) - (Stam)
    Walters - Cazorla - Pienaar - Morrison - (Noble)
Berbatov - Van Pricey - Aguero

    0.4 in bank, 1 FT

Thinking of doing Walker > Rafael, as I think Aguero will start as champs league is Tuesday, then next league game is Sunday and then there's a week in between their next league game.

    Thoughts?

Cheers mate, I am being really stubborn with Aguero, I feel he is simmering and surely after champs league is out of the way he will start for them regularly in the league and kick some overdue arse.

    REPOST
I could have both Rooney + RVP, but it would mean getting rid of Baines for, most likely, Cameron (good old solid Stoke )and my team still wouldn’t look to bad
    Jaas/fed
    Rangel, Cameron, Ridgewell, Gorkss, Cuellar
    Santi, Mata, Pienaar, Nolan, Kaca(sadly)
    Rooney, RVP, Long
It would NOT cost me anything to get that team for next GW but would be getting rid of Baines + Aguero also. THe rest like Fed, Kaca and maybe cuellar can be sorted out later. Is it worth it?

So its Baines and Aguero to Cameron and Rooney.

Doesn't look good to me. Whos gonna get you points when United have an off day? RVP is enough I reckon and taking out Baines makes no sense at all. Keep him for the season. He's an assist machine who takes Penalties and Everton will grab plenty of clean sheets by the end of the season.

REPOST--hopefully now my team has been linked properly (shoot me please if its not this time I am then just worthless. P.s don't also laugh at my overall rank. I was top 20k last year, not bad for a 3-4 year novice).

Alright lads. Big decisions now. Good week for me compared to most, and above average in my league so climbing finally/fortunately.

Take a look at my team and see how I can get RVP in please. I just need RVP in and have no worries about dropping ANYONE to do it. I have two frees and know i’ll have to spend at least 4 to make things look alright. Also have no problem spending 8 and having a virtual mini-wildcard with 4 transfers.

Cheers. (i hope i corrected it and my team is linked properly, let me know ta)

As shocking as it is to say a front line of Tevez RVP and Suarez looks incredibly mouthwatering, but I would go against everything I stand for to bring Suarez in. Just help me decide how to get RVP in and we'll go from there. Cheers again.

Get rid of Vertonghen for a 4m defender, Vorm to a 4.1m goalkeeper and then use the cash to upgrade Tevez to RVP.

That would allow me to keep Bale and Cazorla, and an intact midfield. I see your logic!

Seems like an awful waste of 3 transfers though to end up with 2 squad players and RVP, but then again, my desire is to just get RVP in, and since only Vert would go as a starter.....its basically Vert for RVP.........winning! CHeers.

' Stoke's former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Michael Owen on Twitter: "Not having Coloccini's red card at all. He didn't touch him and to say there was intent is laughable. Let me tell you, he kicks a moving ball a thousand times a day and doesn't miss it once. If he wanted to connect with a standing leg then he wouldn't have missed. He pulls out at the last minute and doesn't touch him. Not having that's a red at all." '

Can you tell me how you are sure Defoe will drop? Because I can tell you he is nowhere near dropping.

OK so what did everyone get? No I'm not the "I got 75 with BAPs to come do you think I did OK" type poster.
I got 25 including subs with BAPs to come. My worst score in about 5 years!

I'm pretty sure Cabaye is a dead cert for 3 baps...in case anyone is wondering about Suarez.
