The options so far in this Moneyball series have tended to be relatively obscure players from the deeper ends of the Fantasy listings, generally plying their trade among the league’s apparent lower classes and thus away from the eye of the average manager. This week’s candidate is the polar opposite of that trend as few players have the potential to garner more attention than the eye-catching and somewhat mercurial Djibril Cisse.

Thinking of swapping Bale for Ramirez, good idea?

Bale Mata Hazard (Sterling, Guthrie)
RVP (c) Long Defoe 1 FREE TRANSFER
Help appreciated as always. Don’t know whether to ride this gameweek out then make 3 transfers nest for a -4 hit some big players i wouldn’t mind having this week. Arrsenal are a huge concern. Oh and don't no whether to bomb off Defoe for the like of Jelly.....0.9 mil in bank!Open Controls-
is there need for both mata and hazard?? cazorlas fixtures are sweet until jan 13th..no team from top 4
Open Controls-
I've had Cazorla since the start and binned him off last week for Mata really don't see the attraction to Arsenal players until they have played Spurs. Kind of leaning towards Defoe > Jelavic
Open Controls-
dunno, if walcott gets a run they will be a different proposition altogether. him and caz could be dynamite...jelly's doing nowt at the mo and defoe just got a hatrick so id keep for one more game especially as adebayor isnt a threat anymore, they will both probabaly start against a dodgy city defence

Any fellow Bale owners lining up a swap for Silva in the coming weeks?
Open Controls-
Nah...I'll try and encompass both in to my team...
Open Controls -
Not with Tevez in my team, no. Need to see some form first though but great value.
Open Controls-
Completely understand with Tevez. I have no City cover so am looking to Silva to provide that,

I could see a Tevez -> Ba and a Bale -> Silva in my future

Had my 21st party last night, one of those nights where absolutely everything went perfectly 😀 Sigh, if only Oscar was capable of reproducing his performances in the CL.

Need to pick two out of these three...Fletcher(eve), Defoe(man c), Walters(QPR)?
Open Controls -
Is berba, bale > rooney,Maloney worth a 4pts hit.
Maloney and sterling would rotate great and tram would be:
Bego
Rafael Baines Nelson
Caz Pienaar Maloney Hba
Rvp Rooney Ba
Subs: sterling Davies demelOpen Controls -
Help me out please! 😀
A. QPR Cisse, Silva, Fellaini, Bardsley
B. Tevez, Sterling, Fellaini, Sagna
I think A might genuinely be the crazy but cunning way to go since Sunderland will have that double game week and surely Cisse + Silva beats Tevez + Sterling?Open Controls-
B
Open Controls -
How comes you guys prefer B? Is it because of Tevez and Sterling or is it because Sagna > Bardsley?
Open Controls-
Cisse-why would you want him?
Bardsley-what's wrong with Cuellar?
Sterlo-no better value for 5 mill as your cheap 5 th midfielder.
Silva-too risky for an injured player that has not shown any returns so far.Open Controls-
Cisse - Because he knows how to score! Look at last seasons' minutes per goal ratio, if he can nail down a regular spot he has the potential to deliver pretty consistent returns.
Bardsley is better than Cuellar in terms of attacking potential. Granville has pushed him as a guy who can grab a few attacking points and stated that he's worth the extra money over Cuellar. He's also mentioned pretty positively in the scoutcast.
Sterling isn't my 5th mid, Maloney is! If I keep Sterling he'll rotate with Maloney and be more like a guy who gets played very regularly.
Silva, I'll get him when he returns. He has actually got attacking points this season in his limited time.
I think you've talked me into choosing A using your logic for B. Thanks XDOpen Controls-
"Never back a hunch-they rarely work out."
Sam City 2011-12 FPL Winner.Open Controls-
Which bit is a hunch? Cisse's based on previous performance. Bardsley likewise (history of goals and assists). Silva is also a proven player.
Open Controls-
Look at this season's scores-all three have done Bo Diddly. Reading between the lines, you are either hoping they come good or you seek some differentials to improve your rank.
Open Controls-
That's an astute conclusion. It's true, I'm 70 points behind my ML rival and need some big differentials to pay off. To be fair you can't say Silva won't produce when he's back, simply because of his class. Cisse is the only big risk in there I reckon and I am apprehensive letting him take a valuable spot up top but if he gets the game time I think he'll able to perform well enough to justify even a £7m+ price tag. That still isn't a hunch as such because he's proven he can hit that in this league (based on last season).
Open Controls-
I wouldn't go on last year's form though - teams, managers, strategies always change and that affects players in different ways. What you are doing is speculating, which is a form of gambling.
If you want to make up ground in your ML the best way is to pick the strongest team you can. You'll find that your opponents will make all of the mistakes for you. It's not that hard to get into the top 10k by doing this. Trust me. I've been there.
Good luck! 🙂Open Controls

Only just noticed RVP went up last night. Bleed those non believers dry Robin 😆
Open Controls -
Begovic (QPR)
Clyne (SWA) / Cole (LIV) / Baines (SUN)
Sterling (che) / Yaya (TOT) / Michu (sou) / Hazard (LIV)
RVP (avl) / Tevez (TOT) / Berbatov (ars)
(Foster) (Puncheon (SWA), Davies (sou), Hangeland (ars)
Should i:
a) sell hangeland for a cheaper defender (Williamson at 4.3, could go yaya to theo the week after as a result - no arsenal coverage)
b) do Yaya to Fellaini (four yellows!) or Pienaar
c) Something else!!

An extra few K opens up Tevez and Suarez as options!
Open Controls

So what do you think is the best front 3 to own as things stand? I have RVP Ba Tevez but I don't think Suarez is far behind - Especially from next week onwards:
WIGAN swansea spurs SOUTH west ham VILLA FULHAM
The thing is, Sterling seems to be playing pretty high up, so wondering if having him makes it less of a risk ignoring Suarez for the time being.Open Controls-
I have RvP, Berba and Jelly atm, but am shortly looking to move Jelly on for Suarez
For me it's RvP plus 2 from Tevez, Berba, Suarez and BaOpen Controls-
Ive got Jelly too I think hes fine too for the next 3 gameweeks

Suarez for Southampton after his inevitable ban

so i've been tinkering with my team and came up with something. would you rather have:
1) tevez, 5.5 mid, ivan, foster
or
2) ba, cazorla, sagna, tremmel (other goalkeeper is begovic)
i currently have 1, but 2 looks really temptingOpen Controls
