We’ve got three fixtures to enjoy on this Sunday of Premier League action. After league-leaders Manchester United narrowly took three points yesterday at Villa Park, it’s time for the other two title contenders to respond. The Dugout Discussion opens for the juicy encounter at the Etihad Stadium between hosts Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. The team news is in, and is as follows…

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy, Yaya Toure, Barry, Kolarov, Silva, Tevez, Aguero.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Sandro, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey, Adebayor.

Roberto Mancini makes four changes from last weekends goalless draw against West Ham, which includes the return of David Silva after a month-long lay-off. As for the visitors, Jermain Defoe misses out despite a midweek hattrick in the Europa League, which means Emmanual Adebayor lines up against his former employers.

Following events in Manchester there will be another tasty battle, this time in the capital where Liverpool travel down to Chelsea. In and amongst, at 3p.m., Newcastle United welcome the visit West Ham United.

You can take in all the action in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

    😀

This is a brilliant day for an Aguero owner and a non-Tevez owner. I don't mean to rub it in, but it hasn't happened very often this season!

Nearly 8 am and minus 5 in the High Dessert in Albuquerque. Here 2 years now, but will be home for Christmas 🙂

Class goal from Aguero but hoping Bale wakes up and gets me some points. Have Ivanovic captain and Mata for the Pool match so hoping it's a high scoring game with both scoring but a win for the Reds. Yes they can! YNWA.

Whats the thinking behind Ivanovic captain? His attacking threat or do you not see L'pool scoring?

      1. GreennRed

Both. Terry prob back to give them more of a CS threat but Cole out lessens that chance especially if he plays Sideshow Bomb at FB.

Nando is alright, I always thought he was a proper gent. As class a player as he was, past tense, I could never warm to Stevie G for some reason. Dunno why, arrogance is good in a player but have seen him get away with some cynical stuff.

Bale sums up this FPL season; so erratic and inconsistent. Mind you, we knew that already.

I'm not selling him, but the frustration is overwhelming. Somehow need to forget he's in my team.
