Anthony Pilkington earns the points for Norwich with a superb headed effort extending his side’s unbeaten run to five. Robin Van Persie fails to score or assist for the first time as a starter for United, with the Canaries resilient defence proving too good for the most prolific attack in the Premier League:

Going Up

Norwich Defence
The Canaries came into this evening’s game having conceded a single goal in their previous four Gameweeks but the visit of United was considered a real test of their resolve. A 1-0 win continued their upturn in resilience as Chris Hughton’s influence starts to have a real effect – they now have five clean sheets this term, three more than this evening’s beaten opponents.

Anthony Pilkington
His first goal of the campaign was enough to produce the points for the hosts. Norwich have not tasted defeat since a 4-1 battering at Chelsea in Gameweek 7 and while they may not score many – netting more than once on a single occasion so far – Hughton’s side concede even less; the opposite of last season’s form under former boss Paul Lambert.

Going Down

United Defence
David De Gea was given the day off after a trip to the dentist caused problems but Anders Lindegaard could do little about Pilkington’s excellent headed winner. United have now conceded first in eight of their 12 matches and for once, their attack was unable to bail them out.

United Attack
Tonsillitis kept Wayne Rooney out of the reckoning and with Javier Hernandez selected to start, Robin Van Persie dropped a little deeper. Having racked up 29 goals in the previous 10, with at least two goals per game over that run, the visitors were snuffed out for the first time since Gameweek 1. Three favourable fixtures in the next four look set to offer Van Persie a chance to rectify tonight’s blip – this was the first time he has failed to produce a goal or assist when starting a league game for United.

This is the first time I ask for some help. Don't know what to do.

    My team is:

    Tremmel / Mccarthy

    Baines/ Ivanovic / Rafael / Cameron / Fonte

    Mata / Fellaini / Michu / Bale / Sterling

    Ba / Persie / Berbatov

Have 2 FT. Not sure about bringing in Suarez cause Ba has a nice run of fixtures..

Lost on the last page regarding Suarez:

When you see the replay it is a clear stamp. It could have been a red card if the referee had seen it

that’s the quote from Martinez and this is the link to the BBC story:

You are passing up a good striker with a great fixture this week... BUT you are gaining a Red Hot striker who's upcoming fixtures are better than Ba's (and also include Sot in GW15).

Not too mention you will not be alone this week and Suarez's price will rise very fast!

    Advice for the new week?

    Bego (Schwarz)
    Baines Rafael Cameron Cuellar (Simpson)
    Sterling Mata(c) Bale (Morrison, Fellaini)
    Suarez (vc) Tevez Berbs

    1FT 0.5 in bank.

The tempting options are Clyne or Davis for fixtures and price but can't see two many clean sheets for either of them. The next option that appeals is getting Cameron and doubling up on Stoke for the next two.? Any advice would be very welcome! Cheers

ok, so Foster to Ruddy next week it is

    one last thing

Brede currently on 99% for a drop, Sterling currently on 97% for a rise, do i need to sell Brede or bring in Sterling now to beat them do we think?

They are very solid both home and away. Especially at home.

You really could do with Rooney-RVP.

I am considering it but I would need to sell Cameron (after his rise) for Cuellar to fund it as I am 0.1m short.

I'd do it. Captain RVP means he only needs 2 more points than Rooney to make it worth it, RVP ppg 6.6, Rooney's ppg 4.6.

Just been on FISO and seen all NTIs are reset. Thought it changed at 3am, or is that just when the system updates?

Brede on 99% to fall and Sterling on 99% to rise, this is crucial to me.

ah so they can still go up/down

Might as well just act now then? It's a 0.2 swing
