The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

Some big names went tumbling out of the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII last weekend. None more so than Granville, who was handed an early exit after losing narrowly to Lrf, while fellow Scout contributor and our man in charge of the Suspension Tightrope, Anorak, also tasted defeat – he lost out 53-76.

Mark remains in the hat for the Third Round after sailing through 57-37 last time out and former world number one Iyad Zahlan also progressed, winning his tie by a four-point margin.

The full list of results can be found be clicking this link.

We’re currently in the middle of sorting the draw for the Third Round and should have that with you for tomorrow morning.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

They got yellow cards in the League Cup. Yellows from all domestic comps count towards the tally.

We haven't been as 'good' as last season because you don't realise what are level is. We are not that good. MON had us overperforming. But we are still survivors...HAWAY THE MACKEMS

Of course. We defend like warriors and Fletcher scores all our goals. It's easy to see where to invest for the DGW.

Worthy additions to a small pool. But Sess has scored 1 goal all season along with AJ. They both looked good last game. But we don't score 3 every game. I'd go with Sess over AJ personally. Because he's playing second striker.

Yeah but you just admitted you have no idea about why we are not as 'good' as last year. It's because you assume these kind of things whereas a supporter knows where we are at from watching games and knows it's folly to be dreaming of such heights currently.

Not willing to take a -8 to sort defence out, -4 is pushing it not sure if Wisdom is nailed on and Swansea wont keep too many clean sheets, want to get Cuellar in maybe for Mertesacker, however that would make my rotation system not as good as Cuellar joins Caulker Rafael

What are you Hazard owners doing?

And what if you have Mata+Hazard?

My team linked. Would like to go 3-5-2 but probably need to go classic 3-4-3. I'm thinking about downgrading Hazard after the weekend, to a 4.4M-ish mid, and then upgrade 3rd cheap striker to Aguero.

I know some of you will say get Suarez instead but he's due a ban soon or even red card.

    Cheers

Mata, Silva. Walcott. Any of those, think I'll keep for the short run. I've got to decide whether I want to get Suarez in for Tevez.

I think it's interesting the contrasting views we all have on players depending on when we bought them. Berbatov buyers this week are full of regret and want to sell him now immediately it sounds like. And Ba owners who didn't get him for ultra cheap are sick of him and want to knee jerk him out for someone more expensive.

Another thing is no-one even considers Hazard because he's too expensive now but he'd be in your thoughts if he was .6m cheaper. Now he's a nobody who scored a goal last weekend.

      ^this.

If you get them early then you're a visionary pioneer and you always think of them in terms of the cheap price you bought them.

If you're late to the party then you're bitter that you can't have their previous points!

Absolutely. Berbatov is averaging 9 points a game in my team because I bought him the week before 😀

It's just funny the contrasts in views.

I always get twitchy about selling players I've made a substantial profit on. But I normally find that the January wildcard is a good cure for this affliction.

The Sunderland goals were all really good. Despite the 10 men. AJ's pass to Fletcher was out of this world good and Fletcher as usual scores from any chance he gets. Sess scored an absolute screamer. You'll enjoy it.

I don't know whether you should sell Lambert with their fixtures though.

    Begovic, Schwarzer
    Baines, Demel, Cuelar, Cameron, Simpson
    Mata, Bale, Nolan, Fellani, Sterling
    Ba, RVP, Fletcher

    2 free transfers

    0.0m in bank

    Should i do:

    a) Schwarzer > Ruddy- this saves me money. The rotation is not great but the only nasty fixtures are GW'18 and 19 (where I will be playing Ruddy away to WBA and Begovic at home to Liverpool).

    b) Simpson > Gorkss > saves 0.8m and Gorkss has a double gameweek coming up.

    c) Something else.

I am thinking of using one transfer this week which will allow me to get Baines out for GW14 and upgrade Ba or Nolan.

I think a free transfer is pretty much universally valued higher than 0.1 in transfer value.
