Regarding Drogba wanting a loan move can a side not get him in on emergency loan?
Looking at Liverpool only having Luis Suarez fit, or Chelsea only having Torres and Sturridge (who could be called a winger) surely they could bring him in on emergency loan.
Or when Suarez gets his inevitable 5th yellow of the season surely without a striker Liverpool could use the emergency loan rule to get him in?
Does anyone know if this would be possible?

Clichy does look a decent option and Mankini loves him. I need to ditch Baines myself and probably will. Got Foster and Rifdgewell for West Brom coverage and I think it's too much. Could ditch Ridgewell and get Shorey nearer the DGW I suppose. Baines to Clichy next week looks interesting 🙂

My team value isn't that great, so Baines is becoming a bit of a luxury. I'm keeping Tevez unless he starts getting rotated, but I could do Berba to Suarez if I sacrificed Baines.

I have the same frontline as you and Baines. I would be tempted to get Suarez from GW 15 for Berba probably. Watch the Liverpool game and hope Suarez gets a yellow card - I will be hoping for that really.
Really regret the advice i took to get Tevez+Morrison instead of Long+Silva

If you can't get Silva there is no one in that 8.0+ range worth it. Fellaini, Michu, Nolan, Morrison get elite stats at cut rates. Weird this season that there is such a gap, that might be why so many people like Theo, since he fills that traditional 8m guy earning like a 10m star.

No-one considering selling him is under any illusions he will continue to do these things. It's having a 7m+ defender...that you could sell and get players you prefer elsewhere. It's very simple.

It's more to do with the extra cash that can be used to upgrade the front 8 when his fixtures are also taking a turn for the worse.

No...but you don't look for form apart from when maybe you're looking at his crossing. CS are based on a team's form and penalties are all luck.
The whole point of choosing a penalty taker in your side is to cash in on that luck.

Selling him is a bold and brave move, because his ability to get points (assists/goals/pens/bonus) is so high.
Imagine how those points will look when Everton remember how to keep clean sheets.
Until then, youre having a 7,5 player averaging around 3 points for some time. Dont quote me on that average, it just feels like its been low for a while.

Don't get me wrong, I can see why folks want to redistribute his value, but he's 7m+ for a reason.
Over the course of 38 GW's in this current Everton side, his potential for points is just too good to consider selling.
Just because he has high potential to deliever points over the course of 38 games, does that mean you HAVE to stick with him for the entirety of the season? Everton are in somewhat bad form, and they have extremely tough fixtures for the next month. I have no trouble selling what so ever.
One thing you gotta realise is that most people can't afford three big hitting midfielders + Baines mate.
You only need 2 big hitting midfielders + 3 out of michu, fellaini, nolan, sterling
I put in far too long a post about this last night (in America), but that's what I think as well. The elite four forwards (presumably plus Kun as well) are both more consistent and explosive than the next tier, with only Long, Defoe, Fletcher and maybe Berba being a third striker option with either the consistency of returns or the explosiveness of performances. Meanwhile, there are eight midfielders getting about the same numbers in terms of consistency and explosiveness, with no real difference between Santi, Bale, Nolan, Michu, Morrison. Hazard, Fellaini, Mata are the elite, with Sikva likely to join them.
I think it because there were hardly any cleansheets but plenty of goals last week and everyone is trying to get as many big hitters in forward positions. Tevez, aguero, silva, caz, suarez, bale etc all had good weeks.
Form or not Granville's synopsis the other day keeps him in my team.
For 7mil you get a player who has the possibility of getting all points on offer bar save pts. I'll take that player all day
