We’ve got Paddy on the ropes again. A week after our bookmaker friends clawed back our early season winnings, we’re now firmly in profit after back-to-back wins. Following a treble windfall back in Gameweek 13, Christian Benteke and Aston Villa delivered the goal and clean sheet we needed to recall another victory in midweek. Now let’s see if can make it a hat-trick of wins with this week’s Scout Picks inspired markets…

Theo Walcott is first up – another man in form having scored the Gunners’ goal at Goodison on Wednesday. Walcott picked up an ankle knock in that game but trained on Friday and will be expected to be the key threat when Swansea visit the Emirates. This one looks a lip-smacker and with Walcott so integral to Arsenal’s goal threat, we like the look of odds of 5/1 on a Theo goal with a Gunners clean sheet against a Swansea side who have scored just three times in their last five away trips. We’ll take this one for £2 of our stake.

West Brom’s Shane Long crops up next. The impish striker is another in bloom, having notched five times for the Baggies this term. He will go into the clash with Stoke fully rested having sat on the bench for the defeat to Swansea in midweek. Steve Clarke has demanded a reaction to that setback and a win with a Long goal looks a favourable outcome. With West Brom keeping four clean sheets at the Hawthorns this season and Stoke likely to be without Peter Crouch, we’re more than happy with Paddy’s odds of 11/2 on a Long goal with a West Brom shut-out. We’re throw another £2 at that one.

We’re all waiting on QPR’s resurgence under Harry Redknapp and, with Villa at Loftus Road this weekend, there seems to be a perfect opportunity to get the ball rolling. Scout Pick Adel Taarabt is a player we’ve talked plenty about on the site over the season so far, and, as Chris Glover’s Moneyball article revealed, we’re just waiting on Taarabt to deliver on his numbers. This weekend would be a perfect time to start and with Paddy dangling 9/1 on a Taarabt goal with a QPR clean sheet, we can’t resist. This is our bet of the week which gets a healthy £4 stake.

That leaves a couple of quid for our usual treble punt. We couldn’t let the Gameweek pass without bringing Luis Suarez into events so Paddy’s treble offers 12/1 on a Suarez goal against Southampton, a David Silva assist against Everton and a West Brom clean sheet at home to Stoke. That combination gets our final £2 as we look to claim our third win in a week from Paddy.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Anytime goal-scorer odds from Paddy's, just gathered it to help my benching decision. Yes, it's decimal odds. Why on earth does anyone use fractions? Decimals make about 323 times more sense. Anyways.

    Sterling 2.40
    Fletcher 3.10
    Michu 3.60
    Fellaini 4.20

i dont prefer it either, but the way chelsea are looking right now and west hams home defense record, id do it. if you insist it is counter move, then take the hit for walcott now. between arsenals next 2 home games and chelseas blank coming up, the hit has a good chance to pay for itself over the next few weeks if not this weekend alone.

I'm pretty happy with him, mostly for his consistency when it comes to the weeks where it's hard to come by good captain choices. I am playing with Fellaini and Michu in the midfield, so hard to find somewhere else where I -need- the dosh.

I think Suarez will score at least once today, quite possibly more but I'm going to the Reading vs Man Utd game and I know I'll be doubly annoyed if Persie scores a few in front of my very eyes and I have Suarez(c)! also I'm tempted to play Shorey over Jones/Garrido/Wisdom!

I like all of these options haha.

3 seems most sensible as you've got more chance of recouping your 4 points bacn and have the DG next week for Cuellar.

Help needed for captain selection for GW15. Currently Walcott is my captain with Silva, Berbatov, Ba and Sterling as my other alternative considerations. I am not going to captain Bale, RVP & Silva this gameweek even though I am a pround owner of all three of them. Please advice.

I've gone Santa Caz as Wal is a liability injury-wise.

Yeah he's fine. Should start, but if he doesn't it's not because he's injured.

I did this exact transfer (except Cameron out instead of McA) for a hit last night before price rises. I think he'll play, and if he doesn't, I have a good first sub to come in.

His claim of being deadly in front of goal has me all psyched up. Probably, a hatrick on the cards. 🙂

The Fantasy Football Club has just started on Sky, I assume it'll all go quiet on here whilst we scribble notes???

Not sure how many people actually have sky and it was on last night so I'm guessing it wont make a difference on here.

      Anytime goalscoring odds:

      http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-matches/premier-league?ev_oc_grp_ids=3903

Helped me decide to bench Fellaini. Of course, there's a good chance you'll get burned no matter who you bench.

interesting, going by that I should play Michu, Sterling and Fletcher and bench Nolan.

Doens't take into account assists of course. So I'm still undecided.
