Now that they are playing more as a partnership, there is very little to choose between them and Rooney being 2m cheaper would seem to be the better value option. If I was on a wildcard I may well go with Rooney instead of RVP.
The problem is, without a WC, I have always got more pressing transfers than a sideways move such as this, so it would cost a hit plus then another transfer to actually spend the spare funds.Open Controls -

When you only have 2 players left to save your GW, I hate it when one of them is your captain who needs to score as many as possible and the other is your GK who you need to keep a CS
It's then you start praying for daft things like penalty saves.

I made no transfers this week, despite the DGW, even with tonights game still to go, I think I will get more points than most this week.
The problem is, people transfer in good players, if they dont score one week, they then transfer them out for average players that scored last week!!!
