The hot favourite was sent packing from the quarter finals last weekend, as former world number one Iyad Zahlan was swept aside by “MileHigh” by 80 points to 46. The latter now moves up to 58th in the overall standings and will be joined in the last four by Wild Rover, who edged past Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad by two points in a battle of the site regulars.

Kun Nguyen also earned a place in the semi-finals with an upset of his own, defeating JMS 65-58, while David Bevan’s “Ange1Range1” scraped through on overall rank after drawing 50-50 with another familiar name on site, Ricky Smokes Lets Go.

The Semi-Final draw will follow later this week, with the last four clashing in Gameweek 22 as we take a break for the New Year’s Day programme. Those now involved now have the option to ponder whether to play their January Wildcards prior to their Gameweek 22 tie. Tense stuff.

    What is the best option? I have two fts

    1- Enrique + shorey -> Obrien (NOR) + Nastasic (STK)
    2- Enrique + berbatov -> Obrien (NOR) + Defoe (RDG)
    3- Enrique + shorey -> Obrien (NOR) + Davies (AVL) + cash

      I prefer 3 as Nasty doesn’t offer attacking returns for the extra money and the cash could be used better elsewhere.

          I think he could do well against Reading but I don't like him long term. Berbatov could equally score well this week and your defenders need fixed more than you need to sell Berbs.

    Spurs coverage is a must for the next 2 weeks right? I currently have none.
    I can change Giroud to Defoe (knowing I have Theo to cover Arsenal) but I will have to free up funds, possibly by swapping Nolan out for someone a little cheaper. That means a 4 point hit. Is it worth it? Who would you swap Nolan for?

      I would just have Bale for attacking returns myself. I've had Walker for a couple weeks and getting Bale in - not considering anyone else.

      If Bale isn't an option then Lennon perhaps.

      As George says tho, they can be frustrating in FPL turns

      Rafael is quite likely to get a start as I think Jones is injured and smalling has played a lot of games recently after coming back from Injury. Luiz could get rested, but I'd say he's 80% certain to start. As for who would get a clean sheet - I'd say Chelsea are a far better bet!!

          In fairness, I have had him most of the season for a cheapie midfielder with a potential from pens and set pieces. So I would not discount him. This week though! There are many other options (depending on the money). Nobody has mentioned Dembele @ 5.9M. I think it would be a better move albeit a little risky.

      Had him all season. OK pick, but not delivering much else than the occasional penalty. Hard to predict when he's getting points. A bit nervewracking to have him, he usually gets an early yellow card.

      city's front 4 is always a gamble unless they are playing one of the top sides. I think it will Silva, Milner, Dzeko and then either Aguero or Tevez. Aguero has the better form but Tevez is fresher.
