        Lukaku, firstly, when he starts he has a great record and he has loads of shots. He's very superior to Long in attacking stats over the last four matches. The risk is the odd benching because the manager likes to rotate his team, but out of the two, I think he's much better.

        I realized Long was benched for two of the last four matches so I just rechecked Long's shots stats for four matches he definitely started (gameweeks 10-13). Lukaku's shots stats are still much better.

      For me someone who doesn't try for the team is horrible. It's more than just being crap, it's about not even trying. Not even trying to track back, or slow an attack down to buy his team time... his performance against Liverpool is etched onto my mind as one of the worst and gutless of all time.
      
      I think what really tilted me against him was him swapping shirts with RVP at halftime in the United match. It was one of those WTF moments, totally inexplicable.

      I'd always back him to score at home, and Chelsea (H) might be when City start to get it together and hit back at their critics.
