In our second article for Members this week, we take a look at those players who have offered the greatest goal threat over the last four Gameweeks. Analysing the key attacking statistics, we run the rule over the key contenders, with the players listed in order of total attempts and, perhaps not surprisingly, the article serves as a distinct nod to a particular Welshman.
Oui.
Open ControlsYou're a council member right?
Wasn't able to put down our team name when I registered.
Our team name is Cash Injections. 🙂Open ControlsYep, I'll put it in manually.
Open ControlsDone, but if you can go through your history etc and find the confirmation page, then bookmark it so you can edit your response.

Ryan, seen your post above... I'm getting Baines in. Only for next 2 GWs.
(Plus Felliani)Open ControlsWCding after then?
Open ControlsYep.
Don't need massive changes only 4 maybe 5, but need them to field 11.
As I'm trying to get as high as possible up the leader board. I wanted key Swansea and LFC players for this dgw and I didn't want to take a 12pt hit to field 11 this week.
So, hoping that will work to my advantage. Really need Suarez (c) to do something tomorrow, could make or break me.Open ControlsHe's "due" 😉
Open Controls
Baines can be long term. Its easy to bench a defender when you only need to start 3 or 4.
Open ControlsWon't be keeping longterm, I'll be selling to fund mata.
Open Controls
People on about RVP being rested against QPR. Can't see it.
A week till his next game, where he is much more likely (not definitely) to be rested. QPR are battlers too, Fergie will have his trump card playing no doubtOpen ControlsJohnson Guthrie Sturridge -> Evans Taraabt Lambert (-8) to field 11 this week?
Open ControlsOff to bed lads. Night
CF -- replied to email.Open Controls"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he has no regrets about his decision to sign Theo Walcott over Gareth Bale."
Open ControlsImagine if he'd signed both 😯
Open ControlsHe tried at one stage! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21473572
Open Controls
He should have...
Open ControlsBale wouldn't have done as well at Arsenal. Wenger would have played him at LB
Open Controls
Alternative to above:
Johnson Guthrie Sturridge -> Evans Puncheon Dzeko (-8) to field 11 this week?Open ControlsBertrand > Clyne with my 1FT and 200k?
Leaves me with a defence of Baines, Zab, Pearce, Clyne (Davies)
Also got PunchOpen Controlsany other alternatives? I really like Soton at the moment - still conceding but playing some good stuff
Open Controls
Nice , Pearce > Wison would be tasty at some point.
Open ControlsYep I like that one as well
Open Controls
Morning/evening all!
I've a dilemma I could do with help on - I'll have to take a hit this week to field 10/11, would you;
A take that hit on a non-playing defender (for Evans) - part of my longterm plan, but relatively lower chance of making up for the hit this GW
B take that hit on Studge > Cisse - far more chance of making up for the hit, but not part of long term plan so would use another transfer later
Cheers all, this one has me stumped...Open ControlsIn the same boat. Convinced to do B, but thinking for 3-4 gameweeks in the future halted me.
Open ControlsWhy get rid of Evans?
B imo but I don't really know about Cisse - better cheaper alternatives available for NewcsOpen ControlsA is a hit to bring in Evans. Think he's a good CS prospect through to end of the season, but wonder if he's nailed on this GW. I really need a dead-cert to definitely field 10/11
Open Controls
I know Evs - learnt that this DGW! What's your thoughts on Cisse through to end of season - fixtures look good, but Studge may well offer a better, cheaper alternative that allows a stronger defence.
What front 3 are you looking at now - keeping Suarez? CheersOpen ControlsYes, I would consider cisse. Newcastle seem better since transfer window plus Cabaye returning is massive for their attacking potential.
Currently I have dzeko, Suarez and RVP.
No plans to ditch Suarez, had since he was about 10m.
I will probably lose patience with dzeko at some point.Open Controls
I'm thinking to go either:
Aguero/Rooney+Giroud or one of them with Evans/Sagna. Thoughts?Open ControlsPersonally I'd love a front 3 of Rooney/RVP, Cisse and Sturridge if you can afford it (I can't!), and would go for Evans. I'm just convinced with Aguero just yet, I'd want to see more from him first
Open ControlsYeap, I actually would take Aguero only after a few more games with assist/goal/baps or simply hitting the post. Just still troubled with the problem in your initial post.

Three friends die in a car accident.
Upon their arrival in heaven, they are all asked,
"When you are in your open casket and your family and friends are mourning you, what would you like to hear them say about you?"
The first man says
"I would like to hear them say that I was a good father and a great doctor who served his community very well"
The second man says
"I would like to hear them say that I was good family man and a great teacher who helped many children to achieve their dreams"
The third man says
"I would like to hear them say 'Look! He's moving!"
🙂Open ControlsLiv v Swan predictions?
Hopeful 2-1 for meOpen ControlsMichu no doubt?
Open Controls
Hopefull 8-2 for me.
GJ x4 assists and a goal
Suarez x3 goals and an assist
Sturridge x2 goals and an assist.
Coutinho x2 goals and x2 assists.
De Guzman x2 goals aswell.
3 baps for GJ, 2 for Sturridge, and 1 for De Guzman.
Michu missed penalty (because he decides to give it a go) and and red card after 59 minutes.Open Controls9-0
hat-tricks for Johnson, Gerrard and Sturridge
six assists for Gerrard
red cards for Michu and Williams. (you heard it here first!)Open ControlsNot Gerrard...

Has anyone considered stocking up on the next wave of DGWers after the GW29 blanks? It might be an idea to max out your bench with GW29 blank players so that you can have the optimum amount for the future DGWs.
Open ControlsI'll certainly be considering it if Chelsea and Arsenal have blanks...
Open ControlsCommon sense in common again. 🙂
Open ControlsThe future DGW will likely happen GW36. LR mentioned this.
Still a long way down the road.Open ControlsDo we know that for sure though? What prevents it from being GW30 or 31?
Open ControlsThis clearly requires some solid discussion because no one saw the back to back DGW issues with Liverpool and Swansea. We could be caught out again but those who are prepared for such a scenario will have a huge advantage.
Open Controls
That'll be for the blanks in GW33 for the semis. This one will probably be sooner
Open Controls
I ahve 3 players for the blank, ill defo get ri of at least one
As snake juice just said, there will be long gap b/w week 29 and the DGWOpen ControlsWould depend when they were
Open ControlsIs it too late if I save my WC for this event? Might no happen after all and I'd save my WC for nothing. -____-
Open Controls
Whats this talk about more DGW's? So far this season DGW's have only been trouble for me so i'm tempted to ignore and just stick to my plans.
Currently thinking about spreading the load and covering more bases, to ensure sufficient coverage when rotation etc:
Couple of transfers required, but thinking about:
Begovic, Cerny
Rafael, Evans, Zabaleta, Davies, Wilson
Mata, Wacott, Bale, Fellaini, Michu
Sturridge, VP, Lambert
Thoughts?Open ControlsNice team. Rafael -> Azpi and Cerny -> Somebody??

My Benteke vs Lambert conclusions, sponsored by Belgium;
as some of you may know I am in favour of christian benteke. Here is why;
1. CLUB:Aston Villa are fighting to stay up. They have a limited range of scorers-benteke being one. Southampton score more goals, but from more positions, and are LESS (but still fairly) dependent upon lambert
2.FORM: In the last four games, Benteke has 5 goals against 4 reasonable clubs. Lambert has a goal and 2 assists but not spread as consistently. Both good here.
3.DIFFERENTIAL: now the reason I think makes Benteke so appealing is the differential factor- ownership=8.0% compared to 18.2%Open ControlsHmm, the differential is probably the strongest argument you have there. Lambert simply has more points and is hugely involved in Southamptons goals, not too dissimilar to Benteke really. Also remember Southampton are fighting to stay up as well 😉
Open Controlsryan are you a kiwi? ( because I am)! I agree with all of your arguments there and if i hadnt just got rid of lambert (for the dgw to accomodate gerrard) id be considering him- i am not anymore as i was surprised by his ownership and I need a differential (not everyone does though)

Open Controls
Why do we think there'll be a big gap before the DGW? There will (likely) be blanks in GW29, 33 and maybe even 37(much less likely). Last season the DGW36 was for the blanks in GW33(FA Cup semis) iirc
Open Controls33 seems the most likely, depending on the FA cup and UCL results.
Open Controls
Yep so there by that assessment there should be DGW's between GW30-32 and another one between GW34-36
Open ControlsI'm not certain, but I think there was one in GW31 last season. Correct me if I'm wrong though...
Open Controls
It would of course depend on how far the teams involved in Europe progress (United, Arsenal and Chelsea)
Open Controls
Wondering if anyone has the same dilemma? Longterm I would prefer to lose Fellaini for Bale and keep Michu but Michu doesn't play next week
Thinking Suarez to Giroud and Fellaini to Bale
Team here
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1261290/history/Open ControlsBest use of 2.7 mil: team linked
A)Demel to cashley
B)Demel to j Evans and tremmel to foster next week
C) Suarez to Rooney.
I'm happy with my midfield of Malta, walcott, sissoko, michu, bale.Open ControlsI have rvp
Open ControlsI was pondering going with fellaini and aguero or bale and sturridge a few weeks back. Glad I chose the latter. Aguero has to show a bit of form before I invest in him. I don't need to take risks at the no.
Open Controls
Of course he has rvp...
BOpen ControlsThat's the sensible option, I think I'll go with that. Cheers
Open Controls
Consider Giroud for a while rather than double Pool? or a Chelsea defender?
Open Controls
How many more blanks in 29?
I have:
Arsenal
Chelski
Fulham
EvertonOpen ControlsOver and out people. Until next time, in the DZ.
Open Controlsseeya 😀

Dzeko or Lambert?? Or other in similar price bracket??
Open ControlsBenteke?
Open Controls
Just saw I was accepted to Cal Poly! not a bad birthday present 😀
Open ControlsHappy birthday!!! 😀
Open ControlsNice! Is it good?
Open Controlsit's not ivy league but it's a good school nonetheless and it has very strong engineering and math/science programs, beautiful campus/location, and pretty nice facilities
Open ControlsSurely you want to be near the beaches in Cali? 🙂
Open ControlsAussie beaches are better....
Open Controls:D.
UC Santa Barbara would be the prime place for beaches (I applied there btw). haven't visited but read that it has it's own beaches and coastline :D. apparently it's extremely hard to focus on your studies there cuz it's literally right on the beach hahaOpen Controls
Cal Poly?
Open ControlsHere's my guess, California Polytechnic?
Open ControlsNice, I'll be there next month. 🙂
Open ControlsCalifornia?
Open ControlsShe lives near Malibu but the plan is to go north for a week. A place called Solvang is famous for wine south of the Uni. Not sure how far north we are going. If you go there, I'm sure you'll love it.

Awesome TW....Happy Birthday!
Open Controls
How does this front 8 look chaps?
Walcott - Mata - Bale - Michu - Puncheon
Lambert - RVP - CisseOpen ControlsSo, my Suarez > Rooney move has been pretty shot down by you guys. I see your point. Instead, could do
A. Suarez > Cisse
B. Guthrie > Taarabt/Sissoko
C. Enrique > J Evans
Or combination of the above....
Bego Bunn
Enrique Davies Zab Demel Clyne
Michu Walcott Fell Mata Guthrie
RVP Suarez SturridgeOpen ControlsI'm out. Goodnight everyone.
Congrats on getting accepted to Cal Poly T-Dub. And happy birthday.Open ControlsSeeya 😀
Open Controls
Fellaini and Sturridge -> Bale and Lambert... Worth it for -4?
Open Controlsno fell in my opinion. 2 good fixtures
