Weโ€™re down to the final 128 teams in this yearโ€™s instalment of the Members Cup as Gameweek 27 saw some big community names fall by the wayside including โ€œDoosraโ€, โ€œBack Back Ballackโ€s โ€œdribblerโ€ and โ€œGaz Downrightโ€, among others.

โ€œEvsโ€, now up to 20th spot in the overall rankings, navigated passed โ€œCHUBBYโ€ by a convincing 60 vs 41 scoreline but fellow big hitter, Jonah, slipped out of the tournament: despite being tenth in the overall FPL standings, he made way as โ€œDilleyโ€ put pay to his campaign by a narrow three point margin (42 vs 39).

Previous Cup winner, โ€œFuzzy Dunlopโ€ is going strong thanks to a 40 vs 32 win over โ€œDBREADYโ€ but fellow Hall of Famer, โ€œKippax Kikkersโ€, departs the tournament, turned over by โ€œBlzBobโ€ in a close 38 vs 34 encounter.

As for the contributors, Paul continues to fly the flag โ€“ he made it through to Round Three thanks to a 46 vs 37 victory over Rossaldinho, as Big Dunc went out to โ€œmcginley50โ€.

The draw for the next round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

    RVP > Lamert or Aguero...

Any reason why I should do Aguero over Lambert?

Hmm, was thinking more along the lines of City's form/last ditch charge for the title which should involve Aguero heavily.

Getting in Lambert would leave me the odd situation of having 8.3m in the bank. Can't really complain about that though

You're right, there is that to consider. I personally ditched RVP for Suarez and kept aguero so I hope you're right!

Aguero was absolutely shit last Sunday. I believe Ms Maradona has kicked him out of the marital bed and dossing it in some £5k per night hotel suite obviously isn't doing his form any good.

      lambert.

Assuming all 4 games remain off in GW29, which blankers will you likely be keeping on the bench?

Mine will be probably be RVP, Walcott and ... Demel...

I am thinking of fielding 9 for GW 29, keeping RVP, Walcott, Mata, Rafael, and Zabaleta. Fielding 9 would not require a hit. If I sell one of my benched players, it would effectively cost 8 points (no more WC, so I equate a FT to 4pts) to sell them and bring them right back. For this to make sense, I would need my "sub"/one GW punt, to score at least 8pts even to break even, which I doubt would happen. Opinions?

It could work well. The people you'll lose out to long term are those with WC, but that was inevitable.

We all have a few players that score 1 or 2 points each week. If you can get lucky enough to do as well as usual with the rest, it may be ok. Killer DGW team for you, short term loss, long term gain.

He will surely lose.2-.3 if he doesn't play both games right? You will only lose a little if you sell now and won't have 14.0mil sitting on your bench.

Yup you need to make this transfer. Cisse might be getting on a roll, but is a little risky. Otherwise, you will be playing 4 at the back, Suarez is worth a little .2 or .3 for the two weeks and should score a lot. Do it especially if you think Suarez is a legit captaincy selection. Plus GW29, you will still be only playing 1 at the front.
