Fantasy Football Scout memberships for 2013/14 are now available for just £15. Existing memberships expired on June 1 but you can now renew to get access to the members area.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Currently, payments are made solely through Paypal but, having built a new members sign-up process, we are now looking to get alternative methods of payment set-up for those adverse to using that service. I’ll have more on that, soon.

For those new to Fantasy Football Scout memberships, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

The support provided by our members since we launched has has enabled us to continue to improve the site – most recently, it’s allowed us to invest in the development of HomeCrowd comments system which we’re hopeful will help take the site on, once again. While the HomeCrowd has been our focus recently, we will be switching our attention to the members area in the coming weeks, as we prepare to boost the offering for the new season.

Over the course of last year, we were able to add the Player Comparison Tool, Custom User Tables and the Rate My Team tool to the members area. This time around, we’ve a wishlist of new toys as look to add more value to the members offering. I will have more on this in the coming weeks as the build up for the new season gathers momentum.

  If your wildcarding keep a cheap keeper, defender and mid to maximise your cash elsewhere. No point in having a load of expensive defenders when you can get by with 3 and midfield and strikers should give you most points.

I think stick. There's no overwhelming strong option for captain today. With only two shots at captain I think you have to bank it if you have a goal or a clean sheet. At least until we learn who's in form, who the whipping boys are, etc.

        Cheers TM, it was a bit of a whirlwind yesterday. I'd had my team set for days, but rumours that Østbø, Singh and Destro might not start threw that into disarray. Then there was the information that Eikrem & Hedenstad would be on set pieces for Norway, bullet dodged there with Hedenstad sent off. And then when lineups came out I resigned and juggled and ended up with Nyland, Pedersen, Biton & Dasa from the early game and brought in Insigne - all in the final half hour before deadline...

        City team looks stronger this season, I'm afraid that the only chelsea rival next season are City, Fernandinho+yaya that is tough to break, that's why we need Hulk or Cavani to have a big presence in the pitch.
        
        we need hulk as a game changer if we need to beat city using the wing side.

    Team spirit seems OK. A lot of press coverage has been about the anger of players omitted from the squad (Leitner, Beister, Esswein etc.), and there's no great confidence in coach Rainer Adrion, but Germany are a tournament team at any age level.
    
    Don't like the look of that central defence though, particularly if Lasse Sobiech is selected. Sobiech is one of those players of whom it's often said that "he could play in the Premier League". This isn't a compliment in Germany, as it means that he's tough in the tackle but lacks skill. And pace. And tactical awareness.
