The Sun Dream Team is now open for registration and Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce an official league, with The Sun offering a huge £1,000 prize to our winner.

Having had a few weeks to tinker with your starting XI, the serious business starts here. You can register your saved team, put together further lineups and create and enter leagues for the new season.

Select a free team and you can compete for £80,000 in prize money, but if you back yourself by opting for a Premium Package (two teams for £10 or six teams for £25), you’ll have more chances to win and be in the mix to win the full £500,000, whilst also earning the right to compete for the monthly game prizes, which make up £80,000 of the overall prize pot.

Joining and Creating Leagues

You can join or create up to ten leagues with any of your teams and set up your own leagues as you wish. The Sun Dream Team game offers real incentive to get involved – there’s a new Chairman’s prize pool of £10,000 available for those who manage to recruit ten or more managers to their league.

If you’re looking to join an ready-made league, you can challenge the likes of Ian Wright and Terry Venables with Dream Team allowing you to take on an array of celebrity managers.

The Scout League

You should also enroll in the official Fantasy Football Scout League, with Dream Team very kindly offering a £1,000 prize pot to the winner.

Once you register and create your team or teams, simply use the following PIN and password to enter.

League Name: Fantasy Football Scout
Password: ReWOZhn1T1
PIN: 8061654

You’ll find these details on the middle column of the homepage from this point on.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    A) Coutinho + Dzeko

    B) Silva + Sturridge

I'm stuck with this decision to make atm. With A I have 1.5 in spare cash, still not sure which to go with though

I would say so atm, We're looking at Chamakh and Bent at the moment to come in, so if both of those come in I would avoid him, otherwise he's worth 5.0, too cheap of a striker for my team though

    Good Afternoon. 🙂

As I promised, here is the Summary Worksheet, charting West Ham United's pre-Season so far:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Atwq4Ph6mY6JdHhYRERrVGNON21kZ0pSNHNQd0xWTVE#gid=0

One or three preliminary conclusions ...

It is now slightly more than possible, maybe even probable that Adrián will supplant Jääskeläinen.

We have been playing a 433, which reverts to a 451. Maiga has been the centrepiece, and to my delight, is doing better than Carlton used to. Obviously this will suit Carroll too ...

Ravel Morrison is just ONE of five right/left flank players, the others, in order of appearance being Cole(336), Vaz Te(319), Jarvis(301) and Diarra(209). Ravel Morrison has played 307 minutes of pre-Season matches so far ...

Tomkins still has a realistic, albeit slight chance of supplanting Collins.

Nolan is no longer guaranteed match time. There are a lot of pressures in our midfield.

In my view, CARROLL WILL CERTAINLY NOT PLAY AGAINST CARDIFF.

My three picks remain Adrián, Collins and Noble. I may change Collins.

    Good luck with yours!

Is Noble likely to do any better than last year? I mean he scored a few penalties and was a decent 5th mid, but surely there must be better fantasy options at West Ham?

              "Nolan no good without Carroll"

              False! Ridiculously false! Upsetting-ly false!

Amazing when these Nolan comments come in.

How Nolan can be as good as Gerrard, but get only 3% of the respect and recognition that Gerrard does is troubling.

essential? Absolutely not. Very few players are ever essential and I don't think Nolan even at his best counts as that.

However, I was disputing the suggestion that Nolan is not worth it until Carroll plays, on the basis that he's scored plenty of prem goals without Carroll, including when he hit the ground running last season. I think with their early fixtures he's one of the better mid priced options, and he has the ability to explode and shoot up in price.

I would go with Amorebieta as you can pretty much guarantee to rotate him in for the home games and out for the away games. I like teams who have such high focus on home games such as WHU, Nor, Ful and Stoke (until Hughes arrived).

So... I've obviously heard a lot of talk about RVP being the best captaincy option because he's fixture proof etc. But how many of us would actually captain him against the tougher teams (Chelsea/Man City etc)? Surely during those gamesweeks you'd pick one of your other players who's facing a more obliging defense anyway and primarily pick RVP against the weak teams like you would with any other player?

So basically what I'm saying is - if you have enough decent FPL players (Walcott/Soldado/Benteke/Sturridge etc) which not having RVP will allow you to have - you're highly likely to have a decent captaincy option every week...

What do people think about this?

Agreed but GW4 could be a monster haul. Besides, RVP is a proven, reliable captain. Those "decent" FPL players may be different this season i.e. less consistent/explosive.

It is an interesting point, people going with RvP because he is a safe captain pick but are they going to captain him in the first few gameweeks? They could end up missing on some more explosive captain choices from other players...this happened to me last season, I was far too reliant on captaining Van Persie and I missed out on so many explosive captains 🙁

I guess - just speaking from experience - there will be plenty of occasions throughout the season where it will make more sense to captain someone else other than RVP, but because he's got such a great reputation you'll captain him blindly and miss out on some big points hauls... Does the consistency of a goal or assist a game which RVP averaged last year outweigh potential bumper points hauls and greater overall team score (because you can afford better players) if you go without him?

How do we think Stoke's defence is going to hold up with Hughes in charge compared to last season?

I know they kind of tailed off last season after having a tight defence at home before christmas.

I'm thinking about having Erik Pieters in defence. 5.0m and one has to believe he is nailed on. If there defence starts well, or better under Hughes then might be a good route into a strong defence?

    Sky game...

    Anonymous posted this earlier..

'For example, if you had your existing captain already playing on a Saturday, he would score double points on that day! . You could then transfer him out for a game on Sunday, before the earliest Premier League game played on the Sunday, and the incoming player taking over as captain would score double points. You could then use your weekly captaincy change to change the captain for a game on Monday and score double points again for 3 separate players'...

We understand this, but it does does not answer the query we all had, which is does your Monday captain stay as your captain for the following Saturday? If he does, you will only be able to change capt once and sub captain once for the subsequent weeks, ie only 2 capts per week.

We are still waiting for clarification on this... 😕

Thanks, I was looking at Snodgrass. I'm just worried that he'll flop in the opening weeks and we'll see a price drop as people look to shift him out for one of the 5.5m WHU lads.

She's good. She now owns a mens clothes shop in California. She's appearing in a horror film in 2014 as well, called 'Room and Board'.

Think I'm settled enough barring further injury and transfer news to need something else to distract me from what I'm meant to be doing.

Zabaleta? I would not say any of the Chelsea defence is nailed on bar maybe Cole and Cech.

I don't think Ivanovic is even close to nailed on.

Zabaleta would seem fairly nailed on I would reckon and if Lescott isn't whilst Nasty is injured then he needs a new club!
