This evening we roll out the final article in our three-part series assessing the stand-out attacking statistics over the first three Gameweeks. Having cast our analytical eye over the Defenders and Midfielders, we turn our attentions up front.
Boruc(WHM)
Chester(CAR) Zab(stk) Collins(sou)
Silva(stk) Theo(sun) Nolan(sou) Brady(CAR)
Bentekke(NEW) Giroud(sun) RVP(PAL)
Shaw(WHU)
a) Would you play shaw ahead of any of these?
b) Would you sell Silva for a hit? (I am currently of the opinion don't sell)Open Controlsa) ahead of Collins; Saints will go mental this weekend against the Hammers imo
b) I would; depending on who the replacement will beOpen ControlsDitto
Open Controls
Ello Lateriser! 🙂
I might play Shaw ahead of Collins but it's a coin toss. Regarding b) I would probably save that hit depending on who you are thinking about bringing in?Open ControlsA) possibly over Cheater but I would want to be certain of him starting (and my transfer is to bring Chester in this week)
B) Definitely not - I can not see any midfielder who you can feel fairly sure is going to score good points this week. Silva could easily notch a goal or assist and clean sheet (I think he will play), then you have to rely on big returns from who you bring in. I also think Chester or Shaw are decent first choice subs should he not play.Open ControlsI know old post but I just thought I would offer my two cents to this, as I am just reading through everything.
a) Personally I think Shaw vs Collins is really hard to call but I still fancy WHU more to get a cleanie. And I'm a fan of Collins.
b) I would wait for now, see what options appear over the next couple of GW'SOpen Controls
Any idea whether the Swansea - Crystal palace game is gonna be moved to Sunday? Want michu but games on monday, thursday, saturday puttin me off
Open ControlsWhat do you guys think of this wildcard team?
Mignolet--Lewis
Coleman--Fonte--Wilson--Evra--Chester
Walcott--B.Arfa--Lampard--Michu--Brady
Benteke--Giroud--Sturridge
0.5 in the bank so if Sturridge is not fit will have exactly enough to put Soldado in for him.Open ControlsWildcard Team
Mignolet,Daniels
Zabaleta,Invanovic,Coleman,Wisdom,Chester
Silva,Lampard,Walcott,Brady,Ward-Powse
Giroud,Benteke,Soldado
thoughts ?Open Controls5S better be decent, need to upgrade as my buttons have started having crap response
Open Controls
The 6m midf are all crap.
Open ControlsNo Pablo love? 🙂
Open ControlsSinclair. Pablo. Stoke guy.
Open ControlsWhen I see stoke, wilson keeps popping up in my head and since I am on a WC, I dont consider it healthy.
Open ControlsPablo I suppose. Feels like chasing last weeks points. I prefer Michu.
Sinclair I'm not keen on. Don't like WBA fixt.
Moses could be a beaut.Open Controls
I have just been looking at that. I think the only real way to go if I was wildcarding a midfield would be
to leave the 5.5-6.5m bracket alone and go with
8-10m 8-10m Nolan Ben Arfa 4.5-5m
I prefer that to the more common
8-10m 8-10m 8-10m 4.5m-5m 4.5m-5m
or even the terrible.
8-10m 8-10m 4.5-5m 4.5-5m 4.5-5m
I am surprised I haven't seen more Nolan in wildcard teams.Open ControlsI have Nolan. Had him since gw 1. Now I'm starting to itch...
Currently on:
2 x 4.5-5m/2 x 8-10m/NolanOpen Controls
Taarabt Snoddy Moses Pablo Lallana all options I'd consider
Open ControlsYEah, but they are all injured or we aren't sure if they are nailed on.

Rest looks good.Open Controls
Hows it looking? My wildcard team.. Any suggestions please !
Mignolet (Daniels)
Yanga-Mbiwa, Dawson, Chambers (Whitaker&Collins Bench)
Ben Arfa, Eriksen,Nolan, Walcott (Ward-Prowse Bench)
RVP(c),Benteke, Giroud
0.5 in bank
Thoughts?Open Controlsinteresting team. Got quite a few players similar to mine. Mbiwa against villa (A) is going to be dangerous.
Open Controlsthanks for the response man
Open Controls
Looks good... Keep an eye out for Dawson and Chambers though... Have been hearing on here that they might be at risk of losing their places... But great RVP team! 😀
Open Controlsthanks man, maybe drop Dawson and get Nastasic or Ferdinand in?
Open Controls
Eriksen not nailed on just yet so maybe he is a punt?
Defence is so so.Open Controlsyeah was gonna go for Lampard but for this week a lil cheeky punt on Eriksen
Open Controls
Hey guys thoughts on this WC team?
Mignolet (Steer)
Zabaleta Shaw Collins (M'Biwa Coleman)
Brady Nolan Ben Afra Silva (JWP)
RvP Sturridge Giroud
Good to go?Open ControlsAll right, off to try to teach the youngsters some leadership and organisational skills... 🙂 Class starts in five! Have a great one! 😀
Open ControlsIn what context?

So big hitting defenders is the thing now that we've had way too many CS to be consistent over the season. But let's play this game. Who do you reckon are the best defenders for FPL?
I think the attacking full backs are the ones bringing in the points even if the CS numbers go down, as they will.
Baynes: Too expensive for my taste but is bound to get a lot of points with his new even more attacking position from last season.
Coleman: Also a lot of attackin threat and just wating for Mirallas to score from the many opportunities created by him.
Walker: Good fixtures ahead. Walker has improved his ball possession and passing in the opponents half from last season considerably in the first three games. Lets just hope he won't inhale too much nitrous oxide...
Evra: Has also improved his attacking potential from last season and with great fixtures ahead he seems like a solid pick.
Ivanovic: Propably the best pick from Chelsea backline (any arguments welcome). Some say a slight rotation risk but should play in almost every game. Great potential for more than just CS bonus.
Enrique: Now that Johnson is out he is the most attacking defender in Liverpool. Some say Liverpool might go for three CB backline though wich I doubt.
Zabaleta: The attacking stats has gone down slightly from last season but still looks a real threat in every game. Man City defence is not very solid atm though wich could mean CS is not coming that often.
Please feel free to fill in your picks and arguments on them and those already moentioned.
Cheers!Open ControlsChester: Great fixtures, looking solid, this years Demel, a bit pricey though
Open ControlsMy version of defenders who like to bomb forward...simply arranged by "touches in the final third"...With three stand out players...http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/3832/
Open ControlsLooks good Wakey. This is my first year as a member. Still a lot of stuff in the member area that I haven't looked in to. This is one of them. Thank you!
Open ControlsGet into it...it's an eye opener..Loads of tables made by others for viewing are great, some complex and some less so..I prefer simple. ..Explosion imminenet is a favourite made by "In Tommy we trust" although it's quite easy to make your own version and priorotise the stats you think important...

Seemed to be a bit of confusion last page:
Yes - I can afford, let me rephrase
Which one -
a) Walcott/Silva - JWP - RVP
b) Ozil - 9.2 mid - Studge
c) Walcott - 9.0 mid - Soldado
Please choose where prices r!
ThanksOpen ControlsAny news on the Toure, Hazard, Silva or Sturridge injuries?
I really don't want to have to wildcard yet 🙁Open ControlsAny news will appar in the tweets (see homepage)
Open Controls
What do we think about Moses? Will he be nailed on at L'pool? He's very cheap.

Who should I choose between Koscielny and Mertesacker ??Open ControlsMert
Open Controls
Zaha 6.1 😯
That could be a beautiful punt this week playing his old clubOpen ControlsThoughts on best budget mid anyone?
Open ControlsA: Vorm, Toure, Hazard
B: Boruc, Terry, MichuOpen ControlsB, purely because of Hazard.
Open Controls
Chelsea midfield?
And between Ozil and Walcott, who'll score more?Open ControlsHmm at the start of the season, Mourihno did mention that he's sceptical at Lamp's game time, and Oscar seems injured.
Other two?Open Controls
Also, United's forwards who'll start?
Open ControlsI'ma voiding Chelsea mids personally so can't comment on that part, but Wally for me
Open Controls
Alright guys, any thoughts on this team? Debating whether to change Silva or Couthinho to upgrade a defender, but also wondering whether to tinker with the front line to get Sturridge or Giroud in. Any suggestions?
Mig Lewis
Coleman Zab Shaw Burner Chester
Silva Wally Ramires Coutinho R.Morrison
Soldado Tekkers Lambert
Have 2mil in the bank that was earmarked for RVP but looking more towards def given the start to the season.Open ControlsStrikers are fine imo, Coutinho could improve with a change of position. I would be looking to offload Silva if it is confirmed he is out, otherwise Ramires sticks out like a sore thumb to me
Open ControlsThanks, I just checked out Lambs upcoming fixtures and they look great, so feel better about the strikers. I held off a transfer till after inter's just in case someone got a knock, so will probably see what happens with Silva. Which would you upgrade Ramires for-HBA, Lamps maybe?
Open Controls
Brady at home to Cardiff or Coleman at home to Chelsea on the field?
Open ControlsBrady
Open ControlsWho are your other defenders?
Open ControlsZabaleta, Walker, Enrique
Open ControlsNice, have a feeling Pool will concede but Everton probably will too.
Tricky one. Brady is boring but has the fixture.Open Controlsyeah, liverpool will probably concede but Enrique is probably more likely to school against Swansea than Coleman against Chelsea. Playing at home will help Brady.
Open Controls
If you're going to have Brady in your team you should definitely play him home to Cardiff
Open ControlsThanks everyone, Brady it is!! p.s. coleman will score a hat-trick now haha
Open Controls
Team 1
De Gea - Lewis
ENRIQUE - Walker - Mertesacker - Coleman - CHESTER
Walcott - MICHU - Lampard - Barkley - Brady
SOLDADO - Benteke - Giroud
or
Team 2
De Gea - Lewis
TERRY - Walker - Mertesacker - Coleman - WISDOM
Walcott - LAMELA - Lampard - Barkley - Brady
STURRIDGE - Benteke - GiroudOpen ControlsTeam 1 with the question marks over Wisdom and Sturridge
Open ControlsThat tweet about Toure has just swayed me. Team 1 it is.......I reckon BR'll play 3 at the back (Toure Right - Agger Centre - Sakho Left) with Henderson & ENRIQUE as wing backs.......ie even more reason to keep Enrique in. Cheers for the response anyway.
Open Controls
IMO 1 - it all comes down to Studge v Soldadi for me ,
Previously I would have said Studge but injuries/ Suarez may have unknown effects.
Spurs fixtures are good and wirst case scenario you can trade them.Open Controls
After a lot of thought, taken a cheeky punt on Fernandihno.
Let's see how that works out!Open Controlsballsy, I like it
Open ControlsHaha, thanks.
I mean, he's getting game time, certainly got better talent than Nasri.
The only hindrance is Yaya.
But what's the point of dying, if you don't live a little? 😉Open Controls
How is he defensive? He lies in a deep position, sure. But put his passing skills in order, and you have a Bonus point magnet.
Open Controls
Morning all. Latest WC draft. Any thoughts on it please?

Migs (Davies)
Vidic - Chester - Nastastic (Collins - Turner)
Walcott(C) - Lamela - Coutinho - Hernandez (Ward-Prowse)
Benteke - Giroud(VC) - Sturridge
Have 1.2 million spare to play with if Studge stay injured.Open ControlsLooks good. The only thing I can see is you have no atacking cover from UTD, Chelsea or Man City
