Have Theo but Sturridge seems like a constant injury worry, but he will score well when he plays.

also Demi, IF he's fit, do you agree with me that for 6.0 Rafa could be a better pick than Vida? Perhaps a little more prone to rotation, but should start most as he's really our only natural rb.
I do. But there's the BPS to think about, and Vidic trumps him for passing accuracy, probably a bigger goal threat too?
possibly with the set-pieces but Rafa can score too and, given the state of our wingers atm could get a fair few assists, he so attacking.
CBs will certainly hog the BPs in regards to passing, tackles, blocks etc.

Decided not to WC this week as having two in hand really paid off towards the end of last season, so team (with -4 hit) looks like this:
Mignolet - Boruc
Zabaleta - Reither - Figueroa - Turner - Shaw
Walcott - Coutinho - Silva - Nolan - Canas
Lambert - Benteke - Sturridge
Think I've got too much invested in Reither (5.0) and I'd like to get Giroud, but dunno where his price is going to end up. Canas is the only controversial pick imho, but he's not first XI material anyway - I couldn't find a 4.5 mid who would be tbh. JWP isn't going to be a starter much longer.

Am i the only one on a wildcard keeping Silva? Unless we hear further news, his injury does not sound a concern. Jovetic won't be thrown in the deep end away to stoke first game. Might come on as a sub for the last 20 or so.
Think there might be better options in and around that price bracket. Depends who else you have in midfield I suppose. It's amateur of personnel opinion but I just think Man city's attacking options are all liable to constant rotation. Though I do think Silva will play the majority of games, I don't think he will get the full 90 often enough

I’m fairly happy with this squad but think it could still do with some tweaks as there’s a few things I’m unsure about.

I know the majority of Fantasy Managers would be WC’ing at this point to bring in RVP, but I feel as though I can get more point by building a better squad with the money I’d save from leaving RVP out. I reckon my squad is strong but I think it could be better. I’m unsure about Lampards rotation risk, and was debating swapping Soldado for Benteke and using the leftover £0.7 to make upgrades elsewhere. Also concerned about HBA’s potential, and looking for ways to improve my bench.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Also those stats on Sturridge are interesting and back-up what I thought in regards to Suarez' return.

Not really. Apparently we were planning to sell Pod this summer but it didnt happen. Pod is good but hes better on the LW than up front. Absolute beauty at hitting the ball from deep.
Giroud competes only with himself.
getting very tempted to double with him and Theo and shift Sturridge for Tekkers. I really like Sturridge but the constant injury doubts is a massive pain

Podolski is out for about 3 months. When Podolski is fit, Giroud is still far and away the first choice striker.

Agree. Not only is it the price rise factor but also the fact that spending a few days playing about with a wildcard sometimes lets you see options you hadn't thought of before

I havent missed out. so far taken an 8 pointer to get brady, sturridge and giroud in. If line ups aren't looking favourable I will probably wildcard. If my doubts play then im happy with the 8 pointer

For my first contribution to this site is to give my views on the U21 game between England and Finland because i think many of you couldn't watch it.

I only saw second half, but everything happened on the 2nd half.
First of all, England looked pretty poor even tho they dominated some part of the games with possession. I think Finland were good value for the draw.
Wisdom did get send off, very stupid way, he kicked a guy to the leg who was on the floor and got deserved red.
Berahino scored again. 1 positive thing i found from England was Shaw! As a owner i was very happy with his performance, he was going forward well + skyid one effort.

Im really sorry dude but didn't notice Ward Prowse other than he was playing that CM role, which i guess is a little bit different position what he is used to play for Southampton. He took some set-pieces, nothing new really, im sorry man!
