Very much so depends on where he is played, if he is up top, at 5.5 it really could be a bargain. Not so keen if he winds up on the wing although he likes to take frees etc.
13 shots per goal last season, I dont remember ever seeing worse. Sooooo I think he will find it hard to be good value even if 5.5 and OOP. But lets wait and see

Bentley was a winger who never done anything in the internationals or CL unlike eriksen.
Lennon is a crosser with speed and only a winger. Lamela is a number 10 or inside cutting winger or a second striker who mainly looks for his shot. Only think in common is speed.

thanks all. Would rather drive the wagon than chase it! Its not like there are a plethora of high performing mids at the moment and both Eriksen and Lamela are quality players who have been bought to spruce up the attack of a top 5 team. The fixtures are superb and I have no issue in doubling up with Soldado straight away. Only potential spanner is if I have to replace Sturridge.

Lamela, despite what others say he is in fact quite a goal hog. Brought in essentially to do Bale's job.

He's just 20, looks a one trick pony, and even his youtube collection isn't great. Tons of potential but too much of a punt for me.

well Eriksen scored less goals in a worse league. That makes me think FPL knew what they were doing pricing him lower. And yes pretty expensive for a punt I would not go there for now
Eriksen (like Ozil) predominantly return assists. I don't think that should mean they're automatically a bad option and put in the Silva bracket.
But as ever, this game is all about opinions! 🙂
I dont know if he will be bad, I just cant see him getting many goals and that usually means you are not a good option especially how the baps are divided this season. 5 goals I would guess or 6 🙂
Yep, looks a scorer of beautiful goals rather than prolific. His build worries me as he looks quite slight.
Still think 8m isn't a bad price if he starts behind Soldado though.
It is expensive of course. He is only young and is relatively one dimensional in his desire for being a goal scorer. Youtube I would ignore. Eriksen is a great football player but he is only 21 years of age and comparing the stats, in a "weaker" league, he fails to outshine Lamela.
Hmm, youtube isn't completely irrelevant here. Just look at how many of Lamela's goals are laid on by Totti...
I don't see how stats can be compared in this case? It's like when two teams play each other and they talk about the fixture history... despite player and manager changes! Absolutely pointless stats. Eriksen and Lamela are playing with different team mates against different opposition.
What I would conclude though is that Lamela looks the more selfish player, without question. You have to weigh that up with Eriksen likely to be on corners and indirect FKs.
Youtube isn't completely irrelevant, no. But let us suggest that Eriksen takes the Totti role, Lamela will heavily outscore him pointswise.
I do agree that I am reticent to compare the stats really however Eriksen has not been prolific in what is considered a very average league. That is all.
As for the FKs and corners, don't jump too quick. Lamela likes to take set pieces too and is quite a decent kicker. I can see some sharing.

Dont see men breaking down too often especially ones with good fitness like Rafa who wont be that tired at the end of games. Hes also too stabile ofa server too well to lose momentum IMO.
This happened last year in French Open. Nadal i think won the first two losing just 7 games,and suddenly Novak went crazy
