So, are you backing Robin van Persie in your Fantasy lineup? What about a rejuvenated Wayne Rooney? If you’re without United’s attacking assets and feeling a little anxious ahead of Sunday’s big derby then Paddy have a little something for you. They’re offering Fantasy Football Scout visitors enhanced odds of 7/1 on a United win in Sunday’s big game. United are out at 23/10 for mere mortals but our visitors who are yet to register a Paddy Power account can get hold of these special odds via this link.

If you’re an existing customer, you can still take advantage of Paddy’s generosity – they’re offering a money back special on Sunday’s clash – if United win the game, they’ll refund any losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match.

To be clear, bets on these enhanced odds are limited to a £10 stake and are open to new customers only.

A reminder that we posted Paddy’s clean sheet and goalscorer odds last night and, tomorrow morning, we’ll bring you some new markets based on this week’s Scout Picks.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to have a bet, always gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Now then chaps, who's your captain pick this week?

Currently on RVP but know I'm going to switch last minute to Barfa or Wally.

Giroud but tempted by Bentekkers and Wally. Barfa's just too risky.

Part of me wants to captain Walcott because he is 'due' and it is a decent home fixture. Then again, I don't think that's enough to justify it. I'm edging towards Benteke.

I have bentekers too, I think Norwich will be tough at home. I love Wally but last week was soooooo frustrating. HBA seems confident and it's a great fixture...... But you get burnt wen you don't back RVP. Hmmmmm

Most of the games will be tough for Villa this season (too), it didn't stop Benteke from scoring before though.

Here's an argument on the new BPS system and case for big hitting defenders:

Did you know there have only been 78 goals in the Premier League this season, an average of 1.95 per game, which is the lowest in Premier League history after four completed rounds of matches?

In contrast, there have been 3.29 goals per game in the Bundesliga, 3.05 in La Liga and 3.03 in Serie A. Is it too early in the season to speculate on the reasons for this or do you think the Premier League is no longer the most exciting league in the world?

Is it a big enough time scale? Is 4-3-3 or even 5-2-3 the best new formations?

Like everyone else you've missed the point, it's not about more clean sheets than last year, its about more points when you get a clean sheet. Was 6 now its between 7-8. For big defs who are likely to get 16-17 clean sheets a season (no increase) they will now get about 20 points more. That equates to about 1.0 million in value.

Stoke have conceded the most shots in the area, away from home, of any side in the league, including the newly promoted teams.

    Vorm
    Coleman - Zabaleta - Collins
    Moses - Michu - Eriksen - Walcott
    Benteke - Soldado - Giroud

G'day, I'm looking for some guidance here...

My main ML rival (over the last few seasons) has Wildcarded early, as usual.

Normally I hold off until the FA Cup doubles in the back end of the season, however, after a disastrous start, I reckon I need to do something quick smart.

Should I WC like my nemesis or try and hold out by taking hits instead (Say 3 or 4 over the next few weeks)??

My team btw is as follows:

    Cech Boruc
    Baines Hangeland Ward Chester MTurner
    Walcott Lampard Snodgrass Jarvis Adam
    RVP Benteke Chamakh

Near identical team to mine, apart from I've got Moses instead of Ramsey. It will probably all change by 11.30 tomorrow.

    On my WC

    1) Benteke or Rooney?

    2) Is buying Mirallas a madness now?

    3) Have Ramsey @ 5.6m. Looking at better prospect such as Mirallas/Moses. Is Ramsey for real OR just flash in the pan? Worth losing Arsenal defence spot for him?

      Rooney
      Yes
Ramsey looks good for a while until some players come back, until he'll get forward a lot with Flamini covering.

Rooney looks in form, decent fixtures coming up

Better be 1 week late on Mirallas than 4 weeks early.

Keep Ramsey for now, he won't be dropped in this form. I wouldn't get an Arsenal defender anyway, they seem like to concede quite often this season.

JWP Brady Hernandez doubts for me. Left with Lampard Walcott in midfield. Makes sense to ditch RVP for Rooney and upgrade Hernandez to HBA?

Or just do Hernandez > Moses and decide on RVP/Rooney next week.

Do Hernandez to Moses, wait with RVP.

Why cant mourinho just say... Silva is fit and will play vs Manu. Dont like this "worked normally" stuff especially when richards is in the same sentence

I've got rid of him. Made my 0.1M on a WC and investing it elsewhere. His fixtures go downhill after this week.
