We return from the international break to find Granville totally smitten by Ravel Morrison. While that particular bro-mance takes me by surprise, the shock of my co-host agreeing with me twice on one ScoutCast is perhaps even more jarring.

I guess Granville can afford to be generous. With a 41-point gap between us, the Mancunian may still be laid up by an untimely knee-op but he’s sitting comfortably when it comes to our Fantasy rivalry.

In between sonnets dedicated West Ham’s troubled talent and jibes aimed at my struggling season, Granville joins me in rinsing through the current bandwagons, previewing the weekend and discussing topics such as Suarez’s lost bonus points. He also helps with the mispronunciation of Adnan Januzaj’s name on 72 occasions. We’re now praying he slips back into the reserves.

    I don't normally go for this kind of thing but this season has been catastrophic so far.

    I realise the midfield is a bit punty, but in a few weeks I'll probably go RVP to Bentekkers and upgrade someone to Walcott.

        Krul/Westwood gives 100% home games so that;s the appeal there. Rooney and a stronger midfield is an option I'm considering.

          They might be at home but that doesn't guarantee clean sheets. If it did Sunderland would not be bottom of the league and Newcastle are very suspect at the back too

          Statswise Ivanovic comes out on top but stats don't allow for Terry's 15 years of experience arriving at the right time for corners and frees. History tells you Terry will score more goals, got 6 from 900mins last season. Needless to say I think Terry is a better option.

          2010/11 he recorded something like 10 Premiership goals, 18 Premiership assists.

          Incredibly frustrating but still rate him higher than Young and Valencia for us. Has the ability to produce something special.

    van Persie will soon find a purple patch, I don't have him at the minute but when he starts firing I think he'll go on a run of goalscoring.

    It just seems Moyes is struggling to find a way to link him into play and create regular chances for him at the minute. A lot of substandard crossing into him thus far, aerial football hardly his strength.

      Perhaps if the providers release the ball on time he would be offside a lot less. A large number of offsides are not the fault of the striker.

          Ok some but let's be honest most haven't. Now people are fighting over which country he plays for and people are hailing him as the next big thing.

          Same thing with morrison with people calling for him to play with the seniors.

          I get they are good players but they need to consistently show good form over a season or maybe 2. Then they can be classed as international quality talent. Not just over 1 game like most people have seen him.
