    Michu and Paulinho have averaged LESS than 3 (THREE) points each per game for me over the last FOUR gameweeks. Pathetic....i am patient but thats pretty useless...

    Wow at people ditching Michu. Swansea played a team managed by Sam Allardyce today so if they were actually expecting a load of points against a team that only knows how to defend would have been a bonus. Michu has plenty of good gameweeks ahead and as options are small in the midfield area I would keep hold of him for the time being.

      Is this scoring you would expect from a player that costs £9mill and has just played ARS sou SUN WHU.

      I think it's very poor. 4 goals in SUN game n he had no involvement in any of them.

      Lets be honest though, what other midfield options are there. Yes there's Ozil/Oscar/Ramsey/Gerrard/Silva etc, but none of them are consistently returning 7+ points most weeks. Michu at least has some decent fixtures coming up. If you have, hold. If you don't, son't get him. Simples.

      I'm genuinely surprised he didn't get anything at Sunderland. Aside from that, his returns have been pretty much what you'd expect from the fixtures. And that's the thing - I think his form is strongly related to his fixtures. Fixtures are set to improve and so his goal output should too.

      I mean this is a decent argument at least. If you can't fit them both in and you'd rather have another mid. But for me, Michu = goals; Silva = assists.

        See my reply to Heydudes above, if you allow for the 3 games Silva missed through injury he is outperforming Michu in both areas.

          Again that's valid. But Swansea are over their tough fixture run now, so I'd expect the balance to be redressed.

            That's true but 6/9 of their opponents so far have hardly been watertight at the back.

            Europa League fatigue will get worse in the coming weeks if he keeps playing 90 minutes in all competitions.

              I'll monitor it. I mean, if I start losing too much value and he's too slow to repay my faith I'll have to act. When Walcott comes back competition for mid places will get tighter too.

                    Yeah, Aguero is looking quality and I want him but can't justify using a transfer on selling Suarez, Sturridge or Lukaku. Midfield is a different story, there are expensive players not delivering.
