The sixty-point gap gives my co-host plenty to feel smug about and, as he moves to cover my Silva lining in midfield, you can almost sense the desperation in my voice as I’m left “squirming”.

Positive thinking and Granville’s inexplicable urge to keep the armband from Suarez offers a glint of light as I sit down to take another beating over the ScoutCast airwaves. We talk City rotation, Oscar vs Hazard and midfield failings, before assessing this week’s bandwagons and rinsing through the Gameweek fixtures.

Footballers are really just people doing their job... So, analyse YOURSELF as you analyse a footballer (in terms of your job and how you perform at it).

Job: auditor

Position: supervisor (defensive midfield)

Value: 5.0m, a good strong option to have in your team as a sub when the big boys can't play.

Skills: Spreadsheet and computer wiz. Analytical abilities.

Weaknesses: Chicks don't dig accountants. Average 30 minutes per day making or drinking hot drinks, could improve efficiency.

Tailor your response however you want to! Interesting to see how people would analyse themselves...

      Personally I rate Studge as an elite FPL prospect ala Suaz, Roo, Kun. So if you got him at 9.0, I wouldn't remove him as he's a keeper for the long run imo.

  Always explodes when sits a game out, which was the case against Arsenal. Also with Mata, Willian, Shurrle, even Debruyne all impressing, Hazard will be looking to further impress to keep his spot.
  And one more, after Hazards been nominated for Ballon D'or do you think he's gonna go easy on already tired and depleted Newcastle defense?
  Last season (already impressive mind you) he said he wants to score more, which he hasnt done yet, expect him explode more often than not.

Anybody else think that Costa may regret aligning himself with Spain over Brazil? That Brazilian team has a lot of up and coming talent while the Spanish have a lot of players that may begin to decline soon (injuries, age). I may be getting this wrong of course, just not sure if it's a good long term decision. Personally kinda hope Brazil storm it now 😉

    I am not so convinced. Don't like the defence in many ways. Xavi getting on and Iniesta can pick up the odd niggle. I just think, seeing as Costa is 25, he has a number of years ahead of him and picking the side that are currently very strong over the side that will be very strong may be a bad decision.
