With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team we have plenty to analyse before tomorrow’s deadlines. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game and offers a head-up for the first Fantasy Football Scout Cup competition of the season.

Fantasy Premier League

David Wilson climbs to the top of the Scout League thanks to an 83-point haul last weekend. His decision to captain Luis Suarez proved crucial, whilst Roberto Soldado and Olivier Giroud chipped in with a goal apiece as David moved to 27th spot overall on 624 points.

Cavan McDonald climbs to second after racking up 84 points in Gameweek 9. He also captained Suarez and picked up points from Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge up top, whilst his tactic of doubling up on Southampton at the back paid off once again.

Henry Carpenter Clawson also moved up the rankings thanks to captain Suarez. Leighton Baines, Michael Dawson and doubling up on the Saints backline helped him rack up four clean sheets – he sits on 615 points overall.

Hemant Gosavi is knocked off the summited after a 62-point Gameweek. Despite eight of his players scored five or more points, his lack of a certain Uruguayan proved costly, while Craig Gavin completes the top five after his Suarez-led team accrued 89 points. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Wasana Busby climbs back to the top, with captain Suarez, Wayne Rooney and Jan Vertonghen helping him to 91 points last time around. Second spot goes to Angga Haqqu, yet another to hand the Liverpool man the armband, while James Floyd takes third after captaining Suarez and doubling up on the Swansea defence.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst remains at the top of the Scout League. Having taken over as the leader last week, he has now extended his advantage to 73 points over Leo Reid and Michael Galbraithin joint-second spot – Ben has now climbed up to third in the overall standings and has a total of 747 points, just 14 points from the summit. The winner of our Sky league, which sits in second spot in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Rhys Niyazi remains in top spot on 586 points, with five Tottenham players and a couple from Arsenal helping him stave off the threat of Lee Walpole, who is just a single point behind. Jonathan David Nicol is a non-mover in third, as he continues to benefit from the decision to opt for an all-Tottenham defence. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Brian Bunclark took first spot in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. He picked up £49.68 after opting for five Liverpool players in the 4-1 home win over West Brom, while Gary Pawson and Matti Maata earned £33.30 and £25.20 for finishing second and third respectively.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As mentioned last week, we play to roll out entry for the first Scout Cup of the season, with the qualifying round in Gameweek 11. Watch out for an article over the next 24-hours which will explain how to submit your team.

Suggests West Ham are not actually worse defending at home, just that they don't defend worse away (most teams do).

Also interesting to see Liverpool and United attack less at home. And Villa attack the most away from home - which we know.

Not reeeeeally all that surprising since no teams come to Anfield or OT to do anything besides defend, which makes attacking harder.

Maybe, but you could argue that means you get more possession and more shots because you're the one doing the attacking.

Chelsea and City have big improvements at home for example and they have to deal with the same parking the bus.

Having more possession doesnt always equal more shots. In fact when you have more posession its mainly due to the fact that the opponents are defending much lower providing far fewer attacking options. City have just been extremely poor away this season under Pellegrini, and Chelsea pretty much just goes away to try and win 1-0. Arsenal/Liverpool/United all pretty much play the same way home and away, which would show in the flat stats, imo.

It doesn't always, but I recall was a good correlation, try PL fantasy if you are feeling especially stats friendly.

Either way those are the differences and yes there could be many interpretations. City and Chelsea have been pretty quiet away.

Ofcourse stats and FPL correlate. Im just saying that it doesnt have to be a stylistic thing for those teams. Why City have been poor on the road i just dont know, but im not at all surprised by Chelsea. Mourinho just wants to get the job done. Flair isnt what hes about.

I do hope Mourinho's boringness doesn't nobble my Hazard in transfer. He's one of those players I feel should explode any moment now. We'll see if I regret going him over Silva!

City were notoriously poor on the road under Mancini too! Seems deep rooted at the club. Might be so ingrained into their thinking to be cautious away that they can't escape it.

Meh i dont think thats how it is. Some teams just struggle to dominate away from home. It is surprising though. Hazard hasnt really been playing too well this season, but they certainly have the fixtures and the abilities to rack up the goals for the next months. Looked at Haz/Oscar myself.

Yep, specifically the defending one is shots in box conceded at home - shots in box conceded away.

Attacking one is shots in box made at home - shots in box made away

    B) Aguero, RVP, Sturridge

I just can't seem to make the switch to Suarez because I've had Sturridge from the start and I see no real reason to swap as he's in consistent form and been producing well. Is there any reason to make the switch? I can make it without taking any hits etc.

Looks good to me. Too late to worry about an overload of those players.

Cheers. Could possibly just shift around subs etc not to put to many eggs in one basket but each player should be looked at individually IMO.

Something is telling me Ozil (c) could be epic this week...

Got the armband on Aguero but hate to regret this intuition

Spurs keep the most clean sheet so far. Should I play Dawson?

The first 3 are now my starter. Which 3 do you pick for this week?

    Mignolet
    Baines - Terry - Clyne - Dawson - B.Turner

I agree with your picks. Baines being on some free kicks and pens makes him a better pick than Dawson this week.

I'm playing Coleman & Clyne, bench Dawson (though I play Boruc in goal too)
Everton kept a CS at home vs Chelsea, and Spurs are poor at attacking
CS odd say so too (Clyne over Dawson)

Aguero 11,5M now, I cannt see him worth 2.5M more than Sturrdge & 2,7M more than Benteke with their fixtures & minutes they will play (Sturridge & Beteke will play full 90 most of games).

Agree about Sturridge. For Benteke, I still not fully confident. Reason is Villa as a team.

I haven't owned either all season...but yeah, I think Sturridge probably has the better staying power. Benteke another great option...

If you wanted a West Brom defender long term, which would you choose?

Take goal threat, assist potential and the bonus point system (in particular) into account.

I am currently struggling to choose between J.Olsson and Ridgewell.

McAuley? I don't think he's worth the extra money as, having looked into the BPS numbers, the two I mentioned should outscore him in most weeks with a clean sheet - unless he does score, of course.

Thanks though. I do agree he's the biggest goal threat but just don't think he'll get enough goals to be worth it.

I`d never get Olsson but thats mainly down to the fact that i think hes a despicable, disgusting footballer. Probably pretty close between the two, although i like Jones best of the bunch.

I can understand that as I have a few players on a similar no-go list as well.

I think Olsson could be sneakily good for bonus points but Ridgewell likes to get involved in attacking play. Tough call.

Do you like Jones best as a player or as an FPL prospect?

Sess, by far. Coutinho might not even start tomorrow and Soton score way to few goals to consider Lallana. Stoke are even good at home.

I dont think theres much difference to him and Rat and i`d rather have the extra 0.6 or whatever it is to spend elsewhere.
