With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team we have plenty to analyse before tomorrow’s deadlines. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game and offers a head-up for the first Fantasy Football Scout Cup competition of the season.

Fantasy Premier League

David Wilson climbs to the top of the Scout League thanks to an 83-point haul last weekend. His decision to captain Luis Suarez proved crucial, whilst Roberto Soldado and Olivier Giroud chipped in with a goal apiece as David moved to 27th spot overall on 624 points.

Cavan McDonald climbs to second after racking up 84 points in Gameweek 9. He also captained Suarez and picked up points from Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge up top, whilst his tactic of doubling up on Southampton at the back paid off once again.

Henry Carpenter Clawson also moved up the rankings thanks to captain Suarez. Leighton Baines, Michael Dawson and doubling up on the Saints backline helped him rack up four clean sheets – he sits on 615 points overall.

Hemant Gosavi is knocked off the summited after a 62-point Gameweek. Despite eight of his players scored five or more points, his lack of a certain Uruguayan proved costly, while Craig Gavin completes the top five after his Suarez-led team accrued 89 points. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Wasana Busby climbs back to the top, with captain Suarez, Wayne Rooney and Jan Vertonghen helping him to 91 points last time around. Second spot goes to Angga Haqqu, yet another to hand the Liverpool man the armband, while James Floyd takes third after captaining Suarez and doubling up on the Swansea defence.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst remains at the top of the Scout League. Having taken over as the leader last week, he has now extended his advantage to 73 points over Leo Reid and Michael Galbraithin joint-second spot – Ben has now climbed up to third in the overall standings and has a total of 747 points, just 14 points from the summit. The winner of our Sky league, which sits in second spot in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Rhys Niyazi remains in top spot on 586 points, with five Tottenham players and a couple from Arsenal helping him stave off the threat of Lee Walpole, who is just a single point behind. Jonathan David Nicol is a non-mover in third, as he continues to benefit from the decision to opt for an all-Tottenham defence. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Brian Bunclark took first spot in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. He picked up £49.68 after opting for five Liverpool players in the 4-1 home win over West Brom, while Gary Pawson and Matti Maata earned £33.30 and £25.20 for finishing second and third respectively.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As mentioned last week, we play to roll out entry for the first Scout Cup of the season, with the qualifying round in Gameweek 11. Watch out for an article over the next 24-hours which will explain how to submit your team.

Thanks for the reply. Who would you choose out of Haz/Oscar? A bit worried about Øzils record at the Emirates though.

Frontline of Aguero/Lukaku/Sturridge. Would also enable me to upgrade Sturridge to Suarez later.

I fancy a clean sheet for Swansea. I would probably play Chico for Coleman.

Vidic, HBA (possibly brady) got to go! You D would look good with Chico, Zab and Coleman. (Rotations with Dawson)

Vidic is too expensive in a inconsistent man u backline. HBA again is too inconsistent. Depends how much you got in your bank, but I would downgrade vidic to rat, clyne, and upgrade HBA.

I am between rat (or other whm) and a.williams...

A.williams is better long term however, rat is also great value and high CS potential this GW.

    Scout picks trivia:

    • Özil makes his 4th appearance of the season, having blanked in each of his previous 3 appearances in the picks. He has picked up attacking returns in each of the 6 times he was not selected in the picks, which means he has a PPG of 11.7 whilst not picked by the scouts, and a PPG of 2.3 when he is included in the picks.

    • Baines makes his 3rd appearance in this season’s scout picks. He has picked up 1 point from his two previous scout picks appearances (against Newcastle and Hull), which means his PPG whilst picked by the scouts is 0.5. His PPG when not picked by the scouts is 7.0.

    • This week’s picks cost 103.3. Last week’s picks earned 75 points (not counting captain double points) with 9 points on the bench. The scout picks have average 51.1 points (not counting captain double points) with 10.7 points on the bench.

    • Harper’s selection between the sticks marks just the 2nd time a Hull player has appeared in the main picks (Brady in GW4 was the other time. He blanked on that occasion). Hull players have also appeared on the bench on 2 previous occasions (as well as Sagbo this week). On both those occasions, they also blanked.

    • 3 players from City appear in the picks this week. This is the third time that three players have appeared from the same team in a single gameweek (after Chelesa’s DGW1 and Liverpool in GW7). On the two previous occasions that the scouts tripled up, they scored 25 and 14 points from their 3 picks.

    • Sunderland continues to be the only team to have had no players appear in the scout picks this season. Arsenal and Liverpool continue to be the most popular players in the picks, with 16 and 14 appearances respectively, including bench appearances.

    Play one of:
    A: Barkley TOT(H)
B: Brady (chance of a last minute cameo) SUN(H)
    C: Burner SWA(H)
    OR
D: take a hit for Barkley > Silva

Having Haz and Mata is a no no. Haz is playing better then Mata right now so I would drop Mata (even though I think Mata is a better player). Mata - Silva is a good transfer.

Giroud to Benteke next week. I wouldn't even think about Torres until I see him start a few games in a row and even then Benteke is a better option.

i have barkley, ramsey and will play only 1.

was thinking of swapping barkely to amalfitano as a punt and bench ramsey. (so, if he doesn't play, ramsey comes in)

Sound alright or should i just save transfer?
