ok my opinions on Liverpool v Fulham.
This potentially could be a right hammering. southampton and crystal palace to some extent came out with a decent result from anfield.
Difference is southampton and to some extent palace (2nd half) ran about and closed players down. Palace showed this v arsenal too, they have players who can pressurise and make it tough at times.
Fulham on the other hand are the complete opposite. They have many luxury players who like to walk around the pitch. In none of the games this season have I seen them press the opposition.
United destroyed them for the first 20 mins and then moyes changed it tactically to settle for the result. United could have ended up with many more if they continued to attack. The likes of suarez and sturridge for me will keep going, rodgers is not the type of manager to shut up shop.
Suarez & Sturridge will be given time on the ball and therefore this could end up a bloodbath.
The only way fulham may come away with a respectful scoreline is if they pack the midfield and defence and not play berbatov, bent, ruiz or taarabt. I can't see it happening though.

Did you even watch the 2nd half? They did pressurise United, winning the ball back. United never really got going after making the 3 subs, they didn't take their foot off the pedal on purpose.
Fulham noticed that a majority of our play came from Evans & Vidic as Jones & Cleverley are fairly uncomfortable picking the ball up from them and playing out. They put pressure on us in our own half and we were ineffective as we couldn't play out as we had in the first half.

After first 11 games of the season Gareth Bale had 3 goals 0 assists.
Now there is no way Michu is coming back like he did, but everyone ditching so fast before stoke without waiting for the news is very surprising. Especially as he is getting the same opportunities as last season

Same goes for Walcott and people saying he was off form before getting injured. But he was getting the best opportunities of any mid in the league and people sleeping on him will pay IMO
Last season, Michu was cheap, played OOP (as a striker)
This season, he's more expensive, plays behind the striker and has gone 5 weeks without a return.

With Giroud, it's mostly that he's in the spot getting all the gift passes from Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey.
after 10 weeks i'm starting to think that the way forward is to invest heavily in strikers (rooney, aguero suarez / sturridge) and defence. Cheap mids. i'm throwing my usual 'balance team' strategy out the window.

As an Arsenal supporter, I was stunned when Ramsey scored his first few goals. Had no belief whatsoever it would continue. The bandwagon, needless to say, juggernauted along with his goals. At a certain point I thought I might jinx it if I bought him, so I kept away. Now, after a craptastic 33 point GW, I'm considering getting him after the Utd match. Even now, he is phenomenal at his price point.
