With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, Sun Dream Team and Champions League games, we have plenty to analyse before tomorrow’s deadlines. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game and offers a head-up for the first Fantasy Football Scout Cup competition of the season.

Fantasy Premier League

Cavan McDonald is the brand new leader in this week’s Scout League thanks to a 78-point haul in Gameweek 10. Captain Sergio Aguero played a significant part, with 36 points, while Aaron Ramsey and a couple of the West Brom backline all came up trumps. Cavan moved to 26th in the overall standings – he has accrued 694 points so far.

In second spot is former leader Hemant Gosavi. He rises back up the rankings courtesy of a 75-point Gameweek – captain Aguero, David Silva, Ramsey, Pablo Zabaleta and United’s youngster Adnan Januzaj were amongst his main protagonists as Hemant moved to 684 points overall.

Luke Weston takes a major jump up the leaderboard to third after picking up 90 points. Captain Aguero, Wayne Rooney, Silva and Ramsey all delivered as Luke moved up to 82nd spot in the overall rankings. George Jack is a new entry to the Scout League in fourth. Again, he captained Aguero and had Ramsey in the ranks, while Jan Vertonghen and Yaya Toure also helped him to a 79 point Gameweek. Veronika Solymosi completes the top five after scoring 82 points last weekend – a total of 675 points is 145th overall. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Angga Haqqu climbs to pole position as a result of a 76-point Gameweek – captain Aguero, Ramsey, Yaya Toure and Michael Dawson all produced. Former leader Wasana Busby slips to second, just three points behind on 658 points, after handing Rooney the armband. Andrew Childerhouse climbs into the top three after an 83-point haul at the weekend; captain Aguero, Silva and Mesut Ozil were key, while Andrew also picked up four clean sheets at the back.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst keeps his spot at the summit yet again. He’s currently running away from the chasing pack on 835 points – that’s a full 77 points ahead of his nearest challenger, Garry Wheeler, while Thomas Daines is a further three points behind Garry on 755 points. Ben’s superb run of form over the last few weeks means he is now joint-top of the overall standings. The winner of our Sky league, which has climbed back to top spot in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Gary Sullivan is the new leader in the Scout League on a total of 679 points, thanks to a team comprised of six Arsenal and three Man City players. Geoff Pryor sits in second spot, 18 points behind Gary, while Nigel Dodds makes his way up to third position, with a combined eight players from north London pair Arsenal and Spurs doing the business. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

Champions League

Diegocho33 remains at the top after the completion of Matchday 4 last night. He racked up 75 points over Tuesday and Wednesday’s matches, with a front three of Diego Costa, Sergio Aguero and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all amongst the goals – Diegocho33 sits on 377 points and is the overall number one with two sets of group matches remaining.

GDBarclay is also a non-mover in second spot. He managed 59 points last time around but slipped in the overall pecking order – down to 16th, on 359 points. Ahmed Tarek climbs into the top three after an 80-point haul; his decision to captain Sergio Aguero and back the Bayern backline helped him move to 24th spot, on 357 points.

PlayON

David Burraway finished top of the pile in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. His decision to load up on eight Man City players for the 7-0 home win over Norwich was inspired and earned him £51.34. Phil Ampleford took home £34.41 in second spot, while Andrew Foskett walked away with £26.04 in third spot.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As mentioned earlier in the week, entry is now open for the free-to-play Fantasy Football Scout cup. boruc
    vidic dawson baines (burner wilson)
    michu ramsey barkley hazard (januzaj)
    lukaku suarez aguero

A: michu >> coutinho (if silva is unfit)
    B: michu + vidic >> silva + nasty (-4)
    C: michu + dawson >> silva + williams (-4)

I really like C coz even though dawson has done well for me, his fix in gw12/13 are really bad and two good fixtures in gw14/15 which are both away, williams has good fix in gw's 11/12/14/15.

Also even though utd have been bad, i really want vidic for gw12 when most teams apart from utd have a tough game

Need a cheap defender, and read about Nathan Baker in this article. But have I understood it correctly if he is out as soon as Agbon/Weimann is back and Villa go back to 4-4-2/4-3-3? Have they played 3-5-2 in all of the matches that he has played? Can he also play left back? Because Clarke and Vlaar are first choice central defenders, no?

He can play LB. Would expect him to be safe as long as Luna is out, but a big risk when he's back in the 4-4-2/4-3-3

Too risky for me. Clarke and Vlaar are 1st choice yeah. When Wiemann/Agbonlahor are fit, you'd assume they'll revert to 4 at the back, meaning Baker drops out

Thinking of Giroud > Benteke to make up for getting Ramsey in...

He was unlucky not to score vs. West Ham and this could be the week he goes on a mad run!

This was the week I had earmarked for Benteke, I've got him in. Very concerned about supply and support now though. His fixtures are ideal, but…
Giroud is fairly consistent but has no explosive potential.

Think Villa are having serious difficulties scoring right now, missed Agbonlahor last game, and now both Agbonlahor and Weimann are rated as doubts. Also best on the counterattack - ironically their fixtures against weaker teams might mean less goals for them as they won't be attacked as much.

        Nowhere near affording that unfortunately.

Only way to get Aguero was Ozil/Hazard to Ramsey but seems a bit crazy for a 4 point hit.

Without this Brady/Hazard news I was considering saving the FT or maybe Giroud -> Benteke/Negredo but that doesn't seem like a great option anymore.

i'm very boring about yaya this season but are free kicks and a threat at corners enough to justify 9.5mil? surely even yaya owners feel a bit cheeky.
may sound harsh reducing it to that but from open play it's 1 assist and 0 goals in 10 matches so it basically is just that. for me, as you will have guessed this season, as long as set-piece hoggers exist at 5mil, even in inferior teams, 9.5mil when penalties aren't part of the set-pieces, even if he's gone all juninho pernambucano lately, defies my logic standards

compare him to ramsey, even ignoring prices. think ramsey is 5 goals and 4 assists from open play. open play always the more reliable as it's constant as opposed to hoping to win a set-piece in a specific area of the pitch. we've seen he's gone up to 3 games without a free kick to take, let alone had the chance and not scored the free kick

Yep, at least Ramsey is getting the shots in open play and scoring them at an insane rate (skill or regression: you decide). Set piece shots are considerably fewer. Think Ramsey's also getting chances from closer in (and no wall to block) - ie. the quality of the chances is somewhat better, something which is difficult to bring out in the current stats beyond the in/out box distinction.

Both seem to have a heck of a shot though. Everything might be coming up Milhouse for them, but they've got to be amongst the best strikers of the ball in the division.

Not all set-piece takes are the same though, it's the quality that counts and Yaya seems to have nailed it on that front this season.

I find it interesting how people are often happy to pay a premium for players who are on penalties, but often seem to discount the value goals scored from free kicks.

i'd hope no one would pay a premium for a penalty taker either. the more expensive takers like lampard, benteke, baines etc the penalties are the icing on a cake you'd want to eat anyway, all are very good scorers without the set-pieces. yaya in his new position with barry and de jong gone is completely dependant on the free kicks right now.

If you'd known 10 gameweeks ago that he would score 63 points by now, then yes he is obviously worth 9.5.

The question is whether he can maintain that rate over the next 10 gameweeks.

Probably Coutinho out of those and then look to do Hazard -> Walcott after the internationals if he's back.
