With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, Sun Dream Team and Champions League games, we have plenty to analyse before tomorrow’s deadlines. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game and offers a head-up for the first Fantasy Football Scout Cup competition of the season.

Fantasy Premier League

Cavan McDonald is the brand new leader in this week’s Scout League thanks to a 78-point haul in Gameweek 10. Captain Sergio Aguero played a significant part, with 36 points, while Aaron Ramsey and a couple of the West Brom backline all came up trumps. Cavan moved to 26th in the overall standings – he has accrued 694 points so far.

In second spot is former leader Hemant Gosavi. He rises back up the rankings courtesy of a 75-point Gameweek – captain Aguero, David Silva, Ramsey, Pablo Zabaleta and United’s youngster Adnan Januzaj were amongst his main protagonists as Hemant moved to 684 points overall.

Luke Weston takes a major jump up the leaderboard to third after picking up 90 points. Captain Aguero, Wayne Rooney, Silva and Ramsey all delivered as Luke moved up to 82nd spot in the overall rankings. George Jack is a new entry to the Scout League in fourth. Again, he captained Aguero and had Ramsey in the ranks, while Jan Vertonghen and Yaya Toure also helped him to a 79 point Gameweek. Veronika Solymosi completes the top five after scoring 82 points last weekend – a total of 675 points is 145th overall. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Angga Haqqu climbs to pole position as a result of a 76-point Gameweek – captain Aguero, Ramsey, Yaya Toure and Michael Dawson all produced. Former leader Wasana Busby slips to second, just three points behind on 658 points, after handing Rooney the armband. Andrew Childerhouse climbs into the top three after an 83-point haul at the weekend; captain Aguero, Silva and Mesut Ozil were key, while Andrew also picked up four clean sheets at the back.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst keeps his spot at the summit yet again. He’s currently running away from the chasing pack on 835 points – that’s a full 77 points ahead of his nearest challenger, Garry Wheeler, while Thomas Daines is a further three points behind Garry on 755 points. Ben’s superb run of form over the last few weeks means he is now joint-top of the overall standings. The winner of our Sky league, which has climbed back to top spot in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Gary Sullivan is the new leader in the Scout League on a total of 679 points, thanks to a team comprised of six Arsenal and three Man City players. Geoff Pryor sits in second spot, 18 points behind Gary, while Nigel Dodds makes his way up to third position, with a combined eight players from north London pair Arsenal and Spurs doing the business. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

Champions League

Diegocho33 remains at the top after the completion of Matchday 4 last night. He racked up 75 points over Tuesday and Wednesday’s matches, with a front three of Diego Costa, Sergio Aguero and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all amongst the goals – Diegocho33 sits on 377 points and is the overall number one with two sets of group matches remaining.

GDBarclay is also a non-mover in second spot. He managed 59 points last time around but slipped in the overall pecking order – down to 16th, on 359 points. Ahmed Tarek climbs into the top three after an 80-point haul; his decision to captain Sergio Aguero and back the Bayern backline helped him move to 24th spot, on 357 points.

PlayON

David Burraway finished top of the pile in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. His decision to load up on eight Man City players for the 7-0 home win over Norwich was inspired and earned him £51.34. Phil Ampleford took home £34.41 in second spot, while Andrew Foskett walked away with £26.04 in third spot.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As mentioned earlier in the week, entry is now open for the free-to-play Fantasy Football Scout cup. Repost from the bottom of the page:

    Is Ozil + Giroud -> Ramsey/Coutinho + Aguero worth a hit?

Probably Coutinho out of those and then look to do Hazard -> Walcott after the internationals if he's back.

    Evening chums,

Anyone care to advise on this dilemma -

Which is more likely to outscore the other over a season - Benteke or Lukaku? Im thinking of keeping Lukaku given his current form and Benteke could be having a difficult second season a la Michu.

My mini league is oh so tight
Amongst the hardcore there is furore
Anger even, at the casual with the foresight
    To have selected Yaya Toure.

From day one his team has been dead
He's young and foolish, just a nipper
Yet here he is with a 20 point lead
And with Aguero as his skipper.

I dissect my team under a microscope
My chance of winning I don't fancy
But then I see a glimmer of hope
For he doesn't have Aaron Ramsey.

Am I reading the stats wrong?

    Just compared Aguero and Sturridge

Agueros away stats compared to Sturridges at home
Agueros away stats compared to Sturridges last 4 games (to account for return of Suarez)

Its very close, but I actually think Sturridge edges it IMO.

    Am I mad?

I'm not the greatest with stats, even when presented to me so excellently.

Everyone suggested I captain Aguero ahead of Sturridge, so maybe I should just follow that advice, but just wanted to spark a bit of debate if possible please.

I recall a few people mentioning that Sunderland are City's 'bogey team'. Might mean nothing, but while Sturridge has such an enticing fixture - he could be a great differential.

Think he will. Hazard-Oscar-Schurrle for me.

He's obviously not going to leave him out of the squad again. He wasn't out partying, he missed the train back from France and didn't reach in time for the practise. Mourinho also said that Hazard wanted to play, but he kept him out. Hazard will be eager to be back into the squad, and which manager wouldn't want to see this eagerness in his players? Especially the key ones?

      Hazard to start for me.

Brazil, who have now won 11 of their last 10 games, will meet Honduras in Miami on Nov. 16 before heading to Toronto to face Chile on Nov. 19.

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (QPR), Victor (Atletico-MG)

Defenders: Thiago Silva (PSG), David Luiz (Chelsea), Marquinhos (PSG), Dante (Bayern Munich), Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Maicon (Roma), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Maxwell (PSG)

Midfielders: Paulinho (Tottenham), Hernanes (Lazio), Luis Gustavo (Wolfsburg), Lucas Leiva (Liverpool), Ramires (Chelsea), Oscar (Chelsea), Willian (Chelsea)

Forwards: Hulk (Zenit), Bernard (Shakhtar Donetsk), Jo (Atletico-MG), Robinho (Milan), Neymar (Barcelona)

Surely means Oscar will be rested for the West Ham game (GW12) 🙁

Why because it just follows the masses? My other choice is to upgrade clyne or Shaw to Kos and keep a FT. I'm not sure, I feel like getting Suarez and Ramsey in is too obvious but how's not the time yet to start gambling I feel.

Not just that it follows the masses, but I think Ozil and Giroud are good picks tbh.

You know you could do it, but Ozil gets 3 assists and a goal, Giroud scores a brace, Ramsey gets injured and Suarez bites someone and its going all the way back...bit extreme, but get my point.

I guess I prefer to go for the 'obvious differentials'.

I was thinking of Coutinho for Ozil / Aguero for Sturridge.....but have decided against it based on the next 7 or 8 weeks' fixtures. City's fixtures are not kind, whereas Arsenal have a kind run. So, Ozil stays for me....and I will hold-off the Aguero bandwagon...at least for now 🙂
