          It's more that without Pienaar backing him up Baines doesn't tend to get forward as much. It's the understanding. When Pienaar plays Baines knows he can bomb forward as Pienaar will cover him if needed, he doesn't seem to have that with Naismith or whoever else plays there

            Ah of course. Sounded wrong when I wrote it. Well, I'm still not convinced on Baines. There's also the issue of who he's crossing to. Lukaku has a history from West Brom of not scoring from crosses. The Executioners Bong dug that up in a bit of scouting when Lukaku first went on loan.

              tbh I was thinking that with their fixtures I was gonna double, but I don't think i will

              I'd rather have Vert over Baines, Howard doesn't get a lot of saves and I can cover Migs' difficult weeks by getting Marshall in. ML leader has Jags and Distin isn't really appealing, and could be under threat if Alcaraz ever actually gets fit.

              Clyne, Evans, Coleman, Vert, Chester/Rosenior/Rat should do until wc.

                  I think I'm getting McAuley in to hold the fort for Vert whilst the fixtures ease. it's between him and JT tbh

                  The stats between WBA and Chelsea in terms of chances conceeded aren't that different, but McAuley allows more freedom of movement to make the other moves i want before Verty.

        I think Eriksen's involvement may actually decrease when Lamela hogs the ball, seems he's more of a CRon wannabe. Not saying Lamela isn't quality, just that from the little I've seen he seems selfish

          No problem, GW 18, 19 and 21 are all at WHL against WBA, Stoke and Palace (if you overlook Man Utd in GW 20) + Swansea away in 22, so if you want a Spurs defender you could easily bring him in later.

    Someone on last page asked me about Chris Brunt stats :
    2008/2009 : 2371 mins 9 goals 3 assists 0 cs
    2010/2011 : 3012 m / 4g / 11 ass / 2 cs
    2011/2012 : 2307 m / 2g / 8 ass / 8 cs
    2012/2013 : 2184 m / 2 g / 4 ass / 4 cs
    2013/2014 : 303 m / 0 g / 1 ass / 1 cs So far
    Brunts only played last 2 (90mins) and 1 game previous , 3 in total due to injury.
    Those considering Sess because of fixtures and form of this current WBA side should maybe look at brunt especially at 5m ,
    He certainly matches Morrison/januzzin/ Brady / Barkley in my book.

    I think I've decided to keep Andros T one more week and see if I can get lucky with a deflected cross-goal. Next gameweek, both Ravel M & Robert S have very good fixtures (FUL & CPL) so could be a nice exit then.

        I do think you need to part company with Hatem, that you do, but there's probably a good chance he plays against Norwich. Pardew loves him and I am sure it pains him to see Hatem on the bench and if anything, he's likely to play him against teams that he doesn't have to track back against.
