Tottenham’s most culpable finishers are brought under the microscope. Liverpool’s South American duo serve us some eye-catching statistics against Fulham. Southampton’s skipper and Swansea’s record signing also impress, while City’s problems on the road are laid bare as we assess the key numbers from the Gameweek gone by:

Best defender, money no object, until GW17
Open Controls-
-
Tricky one as he's a long term pick i think
Plus I need someone to cover him GW13, which with my defence isn't easy
I've currently got Coleman who is playableOpen Controls-
Tottenham aren't scoring, easy clean sheet 😉
Olsson then.Open Controls-
why Olsson over McAuley or Ridge?

Lallana has a tricky schedule. Hopefully he blanks over this period so that his price drops. I'd like to own him at some point.

Quote from Oscar Tabarez, Uruguay manager:
"This result will put us in a good position for the second leg.
"We will play with the same formation to honour the Uruguayan fans who will fill the stadium next Wednesday, as I heard that 60,000 tickets were sold."
Suarez and Cavani to start the next leg thenOpen Controls -
Any news on the Paddy Power Cup yet?
Open Controls -
Eriksen's 9 chances created is actually the most any player has created in any game in the last two seasons in the Premier League.
Open Controls-
Roscola
Just on our discussion yesterday about Baines
Granville and JOA have identified the main issue
Pienaar, he's been injured
Without Pienaar Baines has created 1 chance in 6 games
with him it's 13 in 6.Open Controls-
That's interesting. But it suggests that assists are totally reliant on Pienaar converting them, or is it not that simple?
Open Controls-
It's more that without Pienaar backing him up Baines doesn't tend to get forward as much. It's the understanding. When Pienaar plays Baines knows he can bomb forward as Pienaar will cover him if needed, he doesn't seem to have that with Naismith or whoever else plays there
Open Controls-
Ah of course. Sounded wrong when I wrote it. Well, I'm still not convinced on Baines. There's also the issue of who he's crossing to. Lukaku has a history from West Brom of not scoring from crosses. The Executioners Bong dug that up in a bit of scouting when Lukaku first went on loan.
Open Controls-
tbh I was thinking that with their fixtures I was gonna double, but I don't think i will
I'd rather have Vert over Baines, Howard doesn't get a lot of saves and I can cover Migs' difficult weeks by getting Marshall in. ML leader has Jags and Distin isn't really appealing, and could be under threat if Alcaraz ever actually gets fit.
Clyne, Evans, Coleman, Vert, Chester/Rosenior/Rat should do until wc.Open Controls-
I feel very similarly. I want to beef up defence but no-one really appeals that much outside Spurs
Open Controls-
I think I'm getting McAuley in to hold the fort for Vert whilst the fixtures ease. it's between him and JT tbh
The stats between WBA and Chelsea in terms of chances conceeded aren't that different, but McAuley allows more freedom of movement to make the other moves i want before Verty.Open Controls
-
-
-
Could that be the reason Chelsea loaned him out again?
Open Controls
-
-
-
Not that simple. Baines lives to drift inside giving Baines room to overlap
Open Controls
-
-
-
I reiterate for the umpteenth time when Lamela plays and Townshite is dropped Eriksen will be a fantastic pick.
Open Controls
-
-
Poor Snoddy, he needs more clinical strikers around him.
Open Controls -
Want to get Glen Johnson in. But who to get rid of?
A. Walker
B. Coleman
C. Murner
D. Shaw
E. KoscielnyOpen Controls-
D. since you already have Boruc and their fixtures are tough
Open Controls-
Yeah I'd say this as well, Spencer.
Open Controls
-
Don't like Walker tbh. Two tough Manchester games in a row + 2 games against teams that must win, both away (Craven Cottage + Stadium of light).
Open Controls-
I must say, this is what I was initially thinking.
Thanks DonOpen Controls-
No problem, GW 18, 19 and 21 are all at WHL against WBA, Stoke and Palace (if you overlook Man Utd in GW 20) + Swansea away in 22, so if you want a Spurs defender you could easily bring him in later.

Lukaku to Remy till gw 18 or should I fix my messy midfield: Oscar, Lallana,Ramsey, Amalfatino and Whittingham.

I asked about the cup draw.
@FFScout_Paul: @vougiedipond hopefully in the next day or so! Mark's just waiting to sort some technical admin issues before we post.Open Controls-
Basically we've built our own custom code to run the cup competitions. It's now on live but I need to be sure that Ed has given the seven previous winners byes before we make the draw. Nearly there.

nice one mark is the qualifying score over 60 ?

From looking at The big Numbers all i can think is how can i fit Fellaini into my team...Oscar/Silva to Fellaini for me i think...
Open Controls-
I can't read The article, but are you serious?
Open Controls-
This is Optimus, what do you think?
Open Controls-
Well, I know he's trolling a lot, but with Carrick out there could be something... Saying... Eh. Lol. Fro where you at
Open Controls

Not sure if he's serious but it's got nothing to do with the article if he is 😉
Open Controls-
Cheers Mark
Open Controls

Yep i've already used my FT but am going to take a hit to get him in

Aguero or Suarez Captain?
or a cheeky Sess(c)Open Controls -

Don't think I don't know what you are up to, you are creating a false bandwagon to distract people from getting the real sleeper, Chris Brunt
Open Controls-
I would genuinely love to know how this whole Chris Brunt thing got started
Open Controls

-
Can't ignore him now...With Carrick injured he's fairly nailed on as well
Open Controls-
As Ronh would say he's now "Essential. So he is"

Just did a -8 hit to bring in Walters, Brunt & Debuchy.
Open Controls -
International boredom has led me to plan my transfers up to jan WC
How long do you reckon it will last before it goes out the window?Open Controls -
Someone on last page asked me about Chris Brunt stats :
2008/2009 : 2371 mins 9 goals 3 assists 0 cs
2010/2011 : 3012 m / 4g / 11 ass / 2 cs
2011/2012 : 2307 m / 2g / 8 ass / 8 cs
2012/2013 : 2184 m / 2 g / 4 ass / 4 cs
2013/2014 : 303 m / 0 g / 1 ass / 1 cs So far
Brunts only played last 2 (90mins) and 1 game previous , 3 in total due to injury.
Those considering Sess because of fixtures and form of this current WBA side should maybe look at brunt especially at 5m ,
He certainly matches Morrison/januzzin/ Brady / Barkley in my book.Open Controls-
Chris B-run T. What a player.
Open Controls -
I might just do it for a laugh. In fact I might just upgrade El Ahmadi to Brunt right now.
Open Controls -
In those previous seasons he took pens and most set pieces.
Open Controls-
yeah and his pens are shite as i know to my cost a few times owning him
Open Controls
-
-
You're becoming a bit obsessed! I hope that you are getting him after all this!
Open Controls-
He's a bargain and with 0.2 % ownership he's a real differential ,
4 from next 6 at home and especially around Xmas when the big boys use rotation.
Villa (h)
Newc (a)
City (h)
Nor (h)
Cardiff (a)
Hull (h)
He will be 6.0 before you know itOpen Controls

i don't trust brunt to be a starter just yet
Open Controls-
You could have just left that at
I don't trust BruntOpen Controls

I think I've decided to keep Andros T one more week and see if I can get lucky with a deflected cross-goal. Next gameweek, both Ravel M & Robert S have very good fixtures (FUL & CPL) so could be a nice exit then.
Open Controls-
Looks like my HBA situation is quite similar to yours Townshat situation. Except Townshat is actually playing, lol.
Open Controls-
difference is hba has the ability , mugsend is all pace and the odd fluke cross/goal
Open Controls -
I do think you need to part company with Hatem, that you do, but there's probably a good chance he plays against Norwich. Pardew loves him and I am sure it pains him to see Hatem on the bench and if anything, he's likely to play him against teams that he doesn't have to track back against.

Wildcarding at the moment. Have one spot left for a mid up to 6.7. Currently narrowed it down to Sess, Snodgrass or Cabaye. Any thoughts/anyone I've missed? Thanks!

I don't trust the Arsenal defence.
Open Controls

why is there a fellaini bandwagon? saw people are getting him for a hit..
shall I get him in with my FT and then take a hit for good measure?Open Controls-
Haha! That made me laugh!
Open Controls

Doubt it, unless he gets a time machine.
Open Controls -
Can I suggest this as a grav for you?

5 goals and nothing for Suarez. Anyone else getting rid?
Poor form.Open Controls -

he's only ever a good shout if he plays up front. can't see it ever happening at man utd
Open Controls
-
Is anybody actually on the Brunt bandwagon?
Or shall I become the driver and transfer him in now and come and pick you guys up in a bit?Open Controls-
A bandwagon that will derail dramatically.
Open Controls-
It doesn't really matter if he's my 5th mid.
Open Controls

mulumbu, yacob, amalfitano, sessegnon, anelka and scott sinclair are all more naield than brunt. that's 6 into 6 right there
Open Controls-
So you don't want picking up?
