Any love for Patrice Evra around these parts? I'm thinking the extra security and attacking threat is worth the extra money over Johnny Evans, and that he should get more clean sheets than Zabaleta up until the January wildcard the way the fixtures lie
Then there is of course Kyle Walker too, who I think looks like a decent bet as well. Compared him and Evra using the comparison tool and I think Evra comes out on top due to his vastly superior threat in the box. Walker is a bit like Glen Johnson in that he gets forward a lot without often looking very dangerous. On the other hand, again, he takes some set pieces and stuff now. And Tottenham have of course been much more solid defensively than United.
Have United showed any real signs of tightening up lately? I think they were decent yesterday - it was a fairly unlucky goal to concede and Evra did, as usual, have a top chance well saved.Open Controls-
If I were to get a premium defender now, I'd go for Kompany. I know they have to tough home games coming up, but they are so solid at Etihad.

United's CS really kills it. No plausible amount of attacking points is going to make it worth it imo. Plus you might as well spend the extra money on attackers not defenders.

I don't think I can improve the attackers I have personally. I could definitely get better midfielders but I don't really fancy most midfielders more than their similarly played defender counterparts

I've been monitoring the midfielders and with Hazard's explosion, Ozil continuing to tick along, Michu/Walcott/Silva returning and Mata a possibility, I think the points will return to midfield as usual - it's just taken a while this year.
