Over the last couple of days, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or the top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The Hall of Fame is a ranking system which we apply to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. Essentially, it tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a “HoF rating” accordingly.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 20. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24 hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

Live Hall of Fame Top 10

In the meantime, we thought we’d run the rule over those at the top following the update:

Site moderator Evs is the new number one in the Live Hall of Fame. Having finished fifth overall last year, he looks poised for yet another incredible season – he currently sits on 1,298 points, which is enough to earn him 1,846th spot overall with another 18 Gameweeks to go.

Ulrik Nylnad sits in second spot. His consistency over the past seven seasons in staggering – in six of those years, he’s finished inside the top 2,100, with his “worst” performance back in 2011/12, where he ended in 7,729th spot overall. Ulrik is currently situated around the 46,000 mark but with such an impressive history, you’d expect him to push on again.

Derek Simpson takes third spot. He ended last year in 38th position overall and has finished inside the top 4,000 in five of the last six seasons – at present, he’s just inside the 100,000 mark but has plenty time to make his mark.

In fourth, Rob Pitt has finished inside the top 1,000 in two of the last three years and is nicely poised around the 12K mark, whilst Chris Denbeigh is set for another outstanding season. He has top beaten the 2,5000 mark in six of the previous seven years and is currently situated in 2,559th spot overall.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Atiq Rahman is the highest of our featured managers in this season’s overall standings. A score of 1,304 points has helped him climb to 1,337th position – boosting his chances of finishing inside the top 5,000 for the sixth time in seven years. Pascal Evans has managed a top 1,000 finish in five of the previous seven but, currently sitting in 152,350th overall, has a task on his hands to repeat that feat.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2012/13 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (1580-1106), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. A brief note on Wildcards.

When comparing players, 1 against another is far less important than the overall team price and how they rotate and score as a group.

Player A may well out score B by some way, but if he costs 4.5 more, how many more points might be had from two upgrades elsewhere.

An Overview is what is required.

That is my theory, it is mine and no one else's. Thank you.

  Yep, this. I do think you can compare smaller groups though along the same lines. ie when trying to fill in the remaining 3-4 places for example its worth comparing scoring potential, ownership etc of the 3-4 collectively.

Morning all.

I have a strange request. I have accidentally unpinned a useful FPL analysis web site from my taskbar, and cannot remember what it was. The Icon was an orange man, and the web site showed a graph of assists against goals analysis, so you could see which players were doing especially well.

Any ideas on what web site it might have been?

    So there's not a single match on normal TV or Sky?! That is a disgrace. You pay however much for your tv, then another 40ish quid every month for Sky and they still want more before they'll let you watch a game of football. How long before you start paying the extra 15 quid a month before that's not good enough for them either? How long before you pay that 15 quid per month on top of your tv and license fees and Sky costs and they introduce an extension to BT called BT football or some crap? And all they'll show on BT is last of the summer wine reruns. And you have to persuade Abramovich to part witb a million quid o your behalf before they'll let you watch Grimsby Scunthorpe - the 1st half. I'm chucking my TV out. Who's who with me?

  With the wildcard around, are we trying too hard by trying to buy players that would differentiate us from the FFS template? At the end of the day, FFS is only a portion of the FPL community. The template does have some great sleepers such as Silva (4.9% ownership), Walcott (ONLY 14.1%), Koscielny (7.1%), Mannone (5.5%), Chester (4.5%), etc.
  
  Also I wonder what's a good number of sleepers / differentials (less than 10% ownership) to aim at for the WC?

My Team, that I used in gameweek 20 is: Krul, Coleman, Koscielny, Glen Johnson, Hazard, Cabaye, Lallana, Sterling, Suárez, Negredo e Podolski and subs: Boruc, Lovren, Ivanovic e Johnson (Aston Villa, low pick).

I have not used my first wildcard and I would like you to help me, you think I should use it or just make an exchange for Gameweek 21??? I would appreciate tips. 🙂
