Over the last couple of days, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or the top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The Hall of Fame is a ranking system which we apply to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. Essentially, it tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a “HoF rating” accordingly.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 20. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24 hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you’re wondering what the Hall of Fame is all about, you can read below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

Live Hall of Fame Top 10

In the meantime, we thought we’d run the rule over those at the top following the update:

Site moderator Evs is the new number one in the Live Hall of Fame. Having finished fifth overall last year, he looks poised for yet another incredible season – he currently sits on 1,298 points, which is enough to earn him 1,846th spot overall with another 18 Gameweeks to go.

Ulrik Nylnad sits in second spot. His consistency over the past seven seasons in staggering – in six of those years, he’s finished inside the top 2,100, with his “worst” performance back in 2011/12, where he ended in 7,729th spot overall. Ulrik is currently situated around the 46,000 mark but with such an impressive history, you’d expect him to push on again.

Derek Simpson takes third spot. He ended last year in 38th position overall and has finished inside the top 4,000 in five of the last six seasons – at present, he’s just inside the 100,000 mark but has plenty time to make his mark.

In fourth, Rob Pitt has finished inside the top 1,000 in two of the last three years and is nicely poised around the 12K mark, whilst Chris Denbeigh is set for another outstanding season. He has top beaten the 2,5000 mark in six of the previous seven years and is currently situated in 2,559th spot overall.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Atiq Rahman is the highest of our featured managers in this season’s overall standings. A score of 1,304 points has helped him climb to 1,337th position – boosting his chances of finishing inside the top 5,000 for the sixth time in seven years. Pascal Evans has managed a top 1,000 finish in five of the previous seven but, currently sitting in 152,350th overall, has a task on his hands to repeat that feat.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2012/13 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (1580-1106), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

hmmm now to wildcard or not wildcard..thought I'd hold off until next week's lock but hmmm

    Boruc (Davis)
    Mert, Zab, Coleman (Ward, Chester)
    Silva, Hazard, Walcott, Lallana (Mutch)
    Suarez, Rooney, Adebeyor

    🙄

only 0.1m left over after the fact so would probably have to do Mert > Kos or Zab > Nasty (if nailed on) to easily do Rooney > Aguero when the time comes..

Hmmm, related to your reply to my above post. I pulled the trigger on the wildcard out of a combination of drunkeness and boredom. I am leaving only crumbs enough to do Rooney >> Aguero. Going to be tight.

        don't really want to

Last 2 times I've made transfers to save 0.1 was Silva (got injured the next day) and Rooney (missed the COC tie with Stoke injured)

After those 2 experiences I've learnt maybe it's best just to let the player rise and let the games finish first.

    Mert, Coleman, Burner (Ward, Chester)
    Silva, Hazard, Walcott, Sterling (Ki)
    Suarez, Rooney, Negredo

don't think I'll make any transfers until next Wednesday if I can help it (Capital One Cup matches)

will probably hold off on Ade 1 week as Palace are the pushovers they're made out to be..

those double ups tend to work great in defense for a good fixture on a punt, but I think if a team has most or all of its starters fit then they'll play normally and you'd have to be hoping for some connection between them or a lot of goals to get returns based on the prices you're paying..

Gerrard's returns once Suarez came back are not to be ignored btw 😉

no, think about it, that means that all the teams in the bottom half of the table have been there

In other, they're running out of plum home ties.

Don't they have Stoke, SUnderland & Swansea plus Man Utd (h), Liverpool (A) for their next 5 games starting GW 25?

Bar the Liverpool fixture, I reckon they are really good fixtures but then it goes downhill.

1.7M in bank, gonna get Aguero for Rooney in the coming GW's.

    Mannone-Marshall
    Coleman-Koscielny-Burner-Ward-M.Olsson
    Hazard-Walcott-Lallana-Eriksen-Ki
    Rooney-Suarez-Hooper

    TEAM VALUE = 103.9M
In bank: 1.7M, that means around 0.8/0.9 M to do changes, as I'm gonna get Agurro in after a while.

Those that are wildcarding this week will obviously benefit from lower prices compared to anyone wild carding in GW 23. If they avoid a transfer GW 22, they can then benefit from two FTs in WK23. All those wild carding late are pretty much treading water with their transfers until then.

This surely has to be advantage to early wildcarders?

      This is my current team:

      Boruc | McGregor

      Koscielny | Terry | Coleman | Clyne | Chester

      Silva | Hazard | Yaya | Walcott | Mutch

      Rooney | Suarez | Rodriguez

Most of the players I want are already in my team and by WC late most of them will have risen even more in price. Also by WC late I can arrange my team around the upcoming fixtures, know who will miss a GW due to cup final, assess the players coming back from injury & the ones who have just signed.

Nice. Have to think about where to spend my money between a big fourth mid and a big third defender. Not sure if there is a cheap mid rotation that is as strong, so I might spend in midfield.
