Gameweek 21 continues with a pair of Sunday afternoon affairs with a host of prime Fantasy cuts on show. Proceedings begin on Tyneside, where Newcastle look to halt Man City’s title chasing juggernaut. That’s followed by a trip to the Potteries to find Mark Hughes’ Stoke attempt to shackle Luis Suarez as Liverpool draw up to the Britannia.

The team news from the early kick-off at St James’ Park finds Manuel Pellegrini make two key changes. Interestingly, Martin Demichelis is immediately recalled to the defence on his return to fitness with Matija Nastasic dropping out – a good indication of the current pecking order for the spot alongside skipper Vincent Kompany perhaps, although the absence of Nastasic from the squad could well be down to further injury concerns. Similarly, David Silva’s return was always likely to see either a shift in formation or one of Samir Nasri or Jesus Navas drop out. It’s the latter that makes way this afternoon, as Nasri and Edin Dzeko take their place in the starting XI.

As for the home side, Alan Pardew is forced to shuffle the defence that faced West Brom in their last league outing with injury and suspension biting hard. With Fabricio Coloccini sidelined and Mathieu Debuchy banned, the Magpies boss drafts in Steven Taylor and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. Vurnon Anita also starts in midfield with Shola Ameobi dropping to the bench suggesting a change in shape from Pardew as he looks to stifle the visitors in the middle of the park.

Look out for the teamsheet news on today’s late kick-off via our Twitter feed, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open for those looking for some real-time reaction.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Interfering with play or did the linesman believe it touched the offside player

I like the call. If you are well offside and that close to the keeper, you are influencing the play.

Interfering? He wasn't blocking Hart's vision, he didn't touch it either.

      Disgraceful decision.

Doesn't matter. He's there....the ball is coming in the general direction. He becomes a "hassle" to the keeper's process, which would be fine if he weren't 15 feet behind the back line. That's my take, anyways.

Can't agree with that....simply 'being there' doesn't constitute interfering with play nor an opponent.

If you see it again he moved away from the ball rather than towards it....he couldn't have done any more to not 'interfere'.

Manchester Utd supporters might be interested to know that United boss David Moyes is in Italy this afternoon, watching Cagliari against Juventus. Rumours circulating that he might be keen on Cagliari centre-half Davide Astori.

Hahahahahaha BBC are funny, he isn't going to scout Astori, he's gone to see the big boys - Pogba, Marchisio and Vidal.

NASTI: not in. Many here went for his 5.1 cheap tag as he seemed nailed.

Now Nasti surely should not be a way to go for future WC teams?
unless he is injured which no news as of yet.

Worse: Nasti not even in bench. bench has Clichy, Lescott, Richards.Milner, garcia.

i mentioned, as others have in this site, that Pelegrini when all defenders at disposal, it would be tough for nasti nailed, given he appreciates demichelis, having worked with fierce demichelis before.
The only way Nasti plays ahead of demichelis is if maybe pellegrini keeps demichelis for Champions and nasti premier. Or mayb a 3 way rotation btn the 2 with Kompany.

    any opinons?
