And how was Sturridge? watched the arsenal game and was pretty sure Sturridge battered Giroud stats wise but that is not the case by far i see! Who looks the better option atm?

There are only a certain number of replies to what you said. None of them are acceptable.

Oh, you mean the Ariel Winter post. Okay. Sorry.

Morning, all.
Which City player to drop to get Aguero?
Yaya
Silva
Kolarov.Open Controls -
YAYA --andering how many here and/r % wise took "the Casual" YAYA for their WC FOR GW 22?
thinking slim to none , less than 10%. and he still is challenging anyone who think he is a casual. yaya is simply a workhorse like few that play today that combine raw strenght with talent.Open Controls -
Repost..
Just checked the stats and Gerrard played further forward than last week atleast.. How was he though? was he a threat at all apart from the penalty? missed the game
Should he be a priority to get rid of? cant rely on penos every game ðŸ™Open Controls-
he was absolutely dreadful. However keeps picking up pts
Open Controls -
gerrard was rubbish but still has penos
Open Controls-
... and the best divers ...

I don't know about a priority to sell him (he'll probably rise this week, so keep an eye on that) but he's playing further back then he used to.
I have him, and I'm going to ship him out after he rises, possibly for a hit later this week. Lucas was injured today and Joe Allen is just back from injury... Stevie is the new holding mid.
He does press forward, he does know how to thread the needle with a dangerous through ball, he does take penalties and corners, and he even takes a free kick when they're out of suarez range.
but he's not worth 8.9m, unless
- you need to catch a minileague rival
- you want to differentiate
- you're playing 5 mids every week (rather than 3 strikers)
- you have money to burn
... IMOOpen Controls-
also, look for recent articles... according to B.Rodgers, Stevie is liverpool's Pirlo
Open Controls
-
-
He played just ahead of the back 4 in the first half as Rodgers said, and was dreadful, Weimann was running rings around him. Second half Coutinho came off and Gerrard pushed forward, played some delightful passes and at times was playing as far up the pitch as Suarez.
So you may want to watch for a couple of weeks if BR sticks to his word of playing Gerrard deep, especially if Lucas is ruled out for any length of time..Open Controls -
Gerrard was the deepest midfielder in the 'Quarterback' or 'Pirlo' role, but Weimann man marked him, and he was in big trouble in the first half, did not have a good first half.
Second half Lucas came on, Gerrard moved a little further forward, pinged a few passes around and made a few good runs forward.
In fact both of Liverpool's goals came from opportunities created by Gerrard's long diagonal balls. (This doesn't mean he'll get assists necessarily though)
Basically you're relying on penalties for goals and indirect free kicks for assists mostly, but Liverpool do win a remarkable amount of free kicks around the box it seems, so he keeps picking up pointsOpen Controls-
as per enzo and archie, dire first half and played just in front of the back 4. Change of tactics and formation made a massive difference second half: played further forward great long balls, controlling the play, getting into the box more often.
I'd say the difference to him and the team was so significant that Rodgers should take notice and play him there permanently, however if he doesn't, you are, as said by others, relying on set pieces for the points.Open Controls

Let's try again:
GW23:
A) -4 hit and this lineup
Speroni
Ward - Terry - Coleman
Puncheon - Silva -A.Johnson - Hazard
Suarez - Giroud - Aguero
or
B) Wildcard.Open Controls-
Wildcard
Open Controls-
Thanks. Why?
Open Controls-
Reshuffle it up, I don't see why people are waiting....I think either last week or this week is the time to wildcard
Open Controls-
Okay. We have different thinking about this. I don't do changes just for changes, I need to want something to my team. I'm waiting mostly, because my team is quite good for this round, and it is hard to get a team that is strong this round and that I would not want to change much next round. Holding the wildcard allows me to make big changes next round, when my team's fixtures turn worse.
For example, I'm very reluctant to part with a single Palace plaer this GW, but want all of them (bar maybe Ward) out after it. So, there are good reasons why to wait, and therefore I think I need a better reason than just "reshuffle" to use my wildcard.
Thanks for opinion in any case.Open Controls-
I agree with you fully....but I just wouldn't hit before or after a wildcard, maybe that's just me
Open Controls-
Yeah, I understand. It's not nice to take hit when you have wildcard burning in your pocket. But the thing is, I feel if I use it now, I will take hit next GW.
Open Controls
-
-
And I also figured your bench was bad since you didn't post it....sorry, wasn't trying to come off anyway
Open Controls-
That's true. My bench is crap for this round. Expensive crap:
Howard; Walker - Chester - Whittingham.
Okay, two expensive, two cheap, but all crap for GW23. i'm not endlessly worried about that, though, because the lineup looks decent.Open Controls-
Cool man...I hope your wildcard patience is rewarded....team is in decent shape for this week
Open Controls-
I may still wildcard this week, but gonna go with the hit now. Only thing I'm losing is possible 0.1 on Wilshere double rise (I could buy him now on wildcard and sell in the end of the week).
What worries me more is that if Cabaye indeed double rises I may have hard time getting him in next week. He is one player I want for the rest of the season.
Also that Mannone probably rises. I'm going to lose some 0.3 on them then, it seems, unless my knees jerk tomorrow and I activate.
Why is there no Punch love?Open Controls

A. Defensive dooblie is always a bit of a risk, but wouldn't wc that mob.
Open Controls-
Thanks for the opinion. I think doubling up Palace defence this GW is the least of risks there can be. Hull's scoring form is horrendously bad, especially away (yes, they have scored decently recently, but that was all courtesy of 6 goals at home against Fulham, since then they have had 3 games without scoring).
Open Controls-
Have signed forwards now, 'may' not be entirely toothless. I hate to see a goal dribble in on the 89th when the 2 sixes look imminent. Has happened to me, pleasurable it was not.
Open Controls-
Hah. Yeah, it is risky, and may be disappointing sometimes, but I double up in defence almost all the time and it works out fine. Have doubled up Everton and Palace recently, usually not the same time of course. Earlier it was Southampton. Going to continue to double up at least one team in defence.

Due to the lack of clean sheets for the big boys, is it worth just going for a cheap defence and load up on MF and FWDs?
Open Controls-
Have a defence you feel will provide you cleanies every week. It will be cheap enough.

WC 23 or 24...which GW are people going for the wc selection?
given some potential double risers this gw vs gw24 last week jan signing...Open Controls -
Anyone risking Bony with his nice looking fixtures ahead?
Open Controls -
Evening, a little assistance is needed. Need to get Kun in tonight before his rise - which option is better do ya reckon:
Gerrard & Ade
Cabaye/Ramsey & SturridgeOpen Controls -

Christ almight down 50k thanks to Negredo, Ozil and Lallana. Never again will i plague my team with any of these twits. Especially Negredo
Open Controls-
Bit harsh and rash judgement on Lallana don't you think mate?
Open Controls -
Negredo missed a sitter in the 1st half
Ozil should have had 2 assists

Anyone thinking of going 3-5-2 for the rest of the season. Seems to be decent value in midfield now.
Open Controls-
I was all set to before Sturridge came back with a bang. Took a -4 after wildcarding to revert back to 3-4-3 - and glad I did.
Open Controls

Really out of the loop today.. any news on ramsey?
Open Controls-
Southampton with luck.
Open Controls -
Thanks both.. think i'll just ignore the Aguero price rise tonight and get him later in the week when more news surfaces on Ramsey. cheers
Open Controls-
make sure you ignore the other price rise(s) after tonight's as well.

Negredo to Kun
Ozil to Gerard

WC still intact
Look ok?Open Controls -
Bad news for Lukaku seems like, despite it apparently being a done deal, Lacina Traore will be heading to Everton on loan instead of West Ham. Strange old affair is this one.
Open Controls-

He realised that he had no chance against the mighty Carlton Cole ... 😉
Open Controls -
Lacina Traore is currently injured, out for a month apparently.

Very tempting

Genuinely surprised to wake up this morning to a green arrow (50k to 40k) when I don't have Yaya, Aguero. Cazorla or Cabaye.
Has this been a relatively low scoring round this week? (Don't like using the average score as a guide as it's weighed down by filthy casuals)Open Controls -
Planning to downgrade a midfielder to Noone/Ki, so I can free up cash for Lukaku -> Aguero. Which of these 4 mids do I sell ?
1. Ozil
2. Oscar
3. Yaya
4. Hazard
5th mid is Eriksen, will transfer him out for Ramsey in a couple GWs.Open Controls -
Still have my WC, but am trying to hold onto it one more week. Debating whether Aguero is essential now or not.
A. Negredo -> Bony
B. Mirallas -> AJohnson and Negredo -> Aguero (-4)
C. Play WC
Speroni
Coleman - Koscielny - Chester
Hazard - Cabaye - Özil - Mirallas
Suarez - Sturridge - Negredo
Thank you!Open Controls-
B or C. C worth it for the value imo
Open Controls

Likely double risers from today?
Wilshere, Kun, Ki, Lallana, AJ
Does Mert have a shot? Anyone else?Open Controls -
TM please console me.
Open Controls -
Evs, did you sell Ozil, Giroud, or both?
Open Controls -
apparently the KGB are using this site for secret messages. would certainly explain a lot
Open Controls -
OUT A) Silva or B) Ozil ?
to fund Ade-> Aguero
(Most likely for Januzaj for his immediate fixtures)Open Controls -
Aguero is essential in my opinion.
Pellegrini's Man City versus a Tim Sherwood Spurs is goalfest waiting to happen, a goalfest for City that is.Open Controls -
Never played my WC to make money before.
Is the following correct?
Say I don't want AJ in my team, but I think he's going to double rise, I can get transfer him in, play wildcard, and confirm it.
Then just before the deadline, change him for who I do want.Open Controls -
Anyone know when Vorm is likely to be back?
