The title summons up imagery of Granville straddling me at the Potter’s wheel, lovingly helping to craft a clay creation as we unite to sculpt out a Van Persie bust – in true Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello” style.

That’s probably lost approximately half of our potential audience who are too young to recall the analogy. The other half are likely to be repelled by the image of Granville and I caught in a Swayze/Moore-like clinch.

If you’re part of the minority still sticking around, curious to hear how the above nonsense translates into a podcast, then listen up. You’ll catch the plenty of Wildcard ribbing, a tale of captain calamity exposed by this week’s community questions and the usual array of regulars.

Prepare to be haunted via this link or exorcise your right to stream via the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Morning all, thoughts on Aguero out for Sturridge or take a hit to get RVP and swap Coleman for someone (who?)

So all you guys with Mannone,Bardsley,AJ,Mata,Rooney/RVP,Kolarov,Yaya,Silva,Kun/Dzeko/Negredo.....
Whats the plan for GW 28?
How much of these players is too much?

Mannone is a free DGWer if you have a backup keeper, so he's no worry. I'm going with 2 outfield players at the moment, RVP and Mata. Can bench both in GW28, then get some DGWers in after.

Fair enough, I think I'd want one of Dzeko, Negredo, Toure or Silva but it could help you out come week 28, especially as City may have no fixture the week after either.

          Yeah,thats the problem
Most of us already have at least 2,3 players from those teams and City have great fixtures
          That is why I asked
Is it smart to have 5 players and than use hits to take out 2 and bring them back again for DGW?

You have to take double hits, just makes no sense. Hit to get out, hit to get in again for DGW.

Yeah Mannone isnt a problem if you have other playing keeper
I also have Evans,Mata and Aguero
If Aguero is injured I may buy Rooney and then Dzeko/Negredo
So thats 4 players, and I could just sell 1 of them for that GW
But its risky cause I would need all my other players to play

There is posibility that there will be more matches rearranged from that GW,right?

    Which one is better move?

    A) Aguero&Coleman -> Rvp & Soton/WH def (-4)

    B) Aguero -> Rooney and play Ward

Chelsea have been tightening up, Everton have been going the opposite direction. Coleman has a ridiculous conversion rate, I doubt he'll score many in the second half of the season.

Are we sure he'll only miss one game? Been plenty of setbacks already this season. At the moment he's injured, Azp is not. Of course Azp has a terrible fixture this GW, so if you're not WC I'd probably wait a week and see what the status on Coleman is.

Is that your team linked? Did you bring in Coleman on your WC this week? Not sure about bringing in an injured Coleman at 6.6. Would rather go Azpi.

I already have Coleman. Thinking Azpi will be the more consistent of the two.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him start or it be announced he's out for 4 weeks. The irritating thing is that it's probably not in City's interest to reveal Aguero's fitness with the Chelsea game coming up. Any move we make will be made on guesswork.

The bit that bothers me is that Pell said he shouldn't have played him for 90 in the cup...Does that bode well for an early return against Chelsea ?..doesn't sound like it, even if it was only a minor set back.

I had an inkling he wasn't too bad until I saw that quote.

I'm stil tempted to hang on, but the risk of Sturridge / Dzecko / some other bugger going mental this GW is rather high

Yesterday most of the rumours going around made it look to me as though the chances of him playing were receding - all the talk was of hoping he'd be back for the Barcelona games. Then all related news just stopped. I've really no idea what I think at the moment - it would be a very pleasant surprise if he were to make it.

      Adrain and Mannone: Check

Chambers, Kos, Coleman, Ward, Fabio : You have Olson which I'll buy. Swap Shaw for Chambers. Swap Evans for Azpi or Kos.

Mata, Yaya, Noone, Puchurface, Lallana: I could have Haz; you Yaya.

Studge, Suaz, Aguero: don't like Roonpig over Ag.

I own both Clyne and Chambers. Do you reckon I should take out Clyne this week for a hit or should I wait and see over the next 3 or 4 weeks who is the nailed on of the two and then make a free transfer?

Considering bringing Nolan in for Januzaj. I need a differential, Nolan's got great fixtures, Januzaj not looking nailed anymore with Mata in and Young performing.

    Can't afford Lallana.

    Thoughts?
