Our Gameweek regular for members is rolled out once again ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Liverpool’s trip to West Brom sees Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge place highly in the Captain Poll, whilst United’s visit to Stoke also supplies our analysis with a couple of popular contenders. Arsenal’s home game against Palace also comes into the reckoning, whilst we also unmask this week’s “Captain Unsensible” and cite the statistics to back up our bold punt:

    With the injuries to Coleman, Ramsey and Aguero, amongst several others, is anybody else finding the decision-making this Gameweek one of the most difficult yet?

    With the impending blanks in GW28, and the unpredictable Man City v Chelsea this gameweek, the decisions seem doubly difficult. It is not the best time to be bringing in ManCity players, nor is going to be very helpful in a few weeks time if you bring in Rooney or Van Persie. Doubling up with Liverpool attack is a viable option on Sturridge's current form, but Liverpool do tend to blow hot and cold.

        You're in a similar position to myself, in that you could bench Aguero and Coleman and hope things become a little clearer after this gameweek.

        Your squad is strong enough to get you through this weekend. It's not the best week to be buying a Man City striker as a direct replacement, let alone guess correctly which one might start!

      Surely is one of the most difficult gwks in terms of transfers, i'm cracking my head here as i 'm not sure at making an starstruck team, ready for the remainder of the season or to make one that gets me through these few gwks and save funds to upgrade plyrs/wait for injured plyrs/wait for double gwks

        I don't think you can ignore GW28, although obviously you need to maximise your points up until then. You really need thirteen fit outfield players who are near to 'nailed-on', so that you can bench 2 or 3 Manc players.

        Mata has thrown a spanner in the works by helping to revive interest in a dormant ManU.

          Not sure, maybe M Olsson, but don't think Norwich's fixtures are great. Demel would be a good pick but he is 4.5. Yoshida pick is okay I think, and Collins is good value IF he keeps his place, but a big if. Not sure i'm helping... 😀

        Just considering whether to hold off for a week to get Yaya and just do Benteke as I've a feeling Mourinho may shut City down and I have three playing subs of which Ki is the best.

          Yeah tricky one - Ki + 4 vs Yaya could go either way. No price changes for Ramsey/Yaya so probably just about safe to wait until next week. I'm going -4 (Aguero -> Rooney probably) as otherwise i'll have no subs.

      I'd do D. Most would do Kun > RVP. This makes Rooney a great differential and he can get well amongst the points. Lallana is no slouch too.
