Gutted I opted to play Marshall over Mannone after last week's heroics! Somebody please tell me it was a logical decision at the time lol
Open Controls-
I would have done the same with that rotation. One of the reasons I hate gk rotations
Open Controls-
In hindsight should have went with Mannone against a battered Newcastle side but anticipated a lot of goals in the Derby. Didn't think it would be quite so one sided!
Open Controls-
I note top of the members league played mannone over Marshall so it must have been foreseeable
Open Controls

-
-
I would have done the same.
Open Controls -
I don't think it was.
Open Controls-
You defy logic
Open Controls
-
-
It was logical..you got them for the perfect home rotation so you carried out your plan..Now get rid of Marshall and replace him with WHAM...I did the same but i'll stick with the plan to see how it pans out (not hopeful)
Open Controls -
Why would anyone pick a keeper at home to Norwich when they could have one away to Newcastle? Sheer stupidity 😉
I doubt that any one had that combo picked Mannone and a great number picked Boruc ahead of him too. I also benched him but had Bardsley and Adrian 🙂Open Controls

Repost from bottom of last page:
West Ham looks good for the next five.
avl, NOR, SOT, eve, HUL coming up.
Have funds to do Bruce -> Reid, but can't decide due to benching issues.
Playing with Cahill - Merte - Coleman at the back, and would have to bench one of them for Reid.
Good to have options i guess, but would you rather sell one of those for Reid?Open Controls -
-
considering a hit for next gameweek, and when I pull the trigger depends on the speed of the rise..
Boruc - Davis
EVANS - Azpi - Williamson - Ward - Chester
Haz - Lallana - Mata - HBA - Colback
Suarez - Sturridge - RVP
Evans + HBA -> Demel + Yaya (-4) leaving me nothing in the bank.
also considering MOlsson and Fabio to be able to leave some in the bank..
thoughts?Open Controls-
-
think it's wise it ignoring Yaya or all City mids for that matter the next two fixtures? with GW28 coming up I don't think it's smart to bring in a blank-er without dropping one too..just making my job more difficult for GW28..
Open Controls-
Yeah my plan is roll 3 on the bench.
So more than anything I'm looking at transfers for who's going to have a good gw28 and a gw 29 fixture.Open Controls-
That's the way Tony...and then bolster the DGW'ers in between the blank and the DGW...
Open Controls -
-
well Evans might be crocked so if so I'll be shipping anyways.
then my plan is to save a FT pre-GW27 so I have 2 for GW28 and ship out RVP for one week and bring him back in the week after that.
will be hard to ignore City against Norwich, Sunderland and Stoke..decisions decisionsOpen Controls-
Yeah. I've Negredo and Toure.
Had Yaya Aguero Silva but Aguero got crocked and shipped Silva for Mata.Open Controls-
I think Yaya can easily repay a hit over the next 3 and then I'll be able to have him for the season..
ain't nothing wrong with hits if they pay off 😉
I thought HBA would do the business with Cabaye gone and Remy/Cisse/Gouffran out but he clearly won't lol..Open Controls

Finally made my changes for next week. Adrian is awesome but you never know if he'll dip in form so I went with Boruc for the long term.
Here's my team. Am I good to go?
Boruc
Reid Coleman Gabbidon | Flanagan Olsson
Lallana Eriksen Silva Hazard | Gnabry
Sturridge van Persie (C) Suarez (v)Open Controls -
Anyone considering the expensive differential in defence that is Vertonghen?
Playing centre back he really is a bap magnet it seems, 2 bonus today and conceeded
Scored 5 goals last year so a goal threat as well it would seem
Average fixtures though, I might try and get him in for the last 6 GWs when tottenham have a good run inOpen Controls-
Spurs defence not the best under tactics Tim, also his goal threat seems less this year, he scored his best run of points at fullback last year if I recall correctly. He is a baps magnet though no doubt
Open Controls-
are full back and centre back not the same thing?
Open Controls-
Fullbacks are left/right defence, centre backs in the centre
Open Controls-
ok, I thought they were wing backs didn't know they were called full backs
thanks for the info I thought he was generally centre back last yearOpen Controls-
I've never heard wingback used except when there are 3 or 5 guys at the back. It's the outside midfielders in front of the back 3 or the two outside guys in the back 5, which are really the same thing.
Open Controls -
He was generally centre back but had about a 6-8 week spell at fullback which coincided with some good attacking returns, he still did alright from centre back as well but maybe not enough to justify his price this year

2/5 is not that bad for 4.7 tbh.
But, i might be better of counting on Coleman attacking, and have Reid as a backup on the bench.Open Controls -
Eriksen and JEvans to Fonte and Lallana for a hit?
Open Controls-
I would consider going ahead and doing both. Southampton seem on a good run......Totty.......not so much. Plus, Everton could prove tough for Totty to break down. Plus, Lallana probably gonna rise again in price....just somethin' else to consider.

gw 28. MCI X SUN...Whenever they play, lets say in 2 weeks after etc, will we get the pts from that gw or if we have 3 mci players fr gw 28 we get a 0 pts for all 3, regadless if they play after???!

5 min! do Dzeko ro JRod for next gw and going forward?
dzeko 29 pts last 3 gw.
Jrod 18 ots last 3 gwOpen Controls-
Dzeko but what's the rush?
Open Controls-
hes rising tonite. u think best to wait and see how e plays monday?
the other thing i will have triple mci come gw 28...Open Controls-
Unless you actually can't afford to do the transfer with the price rise then wait, we getting too late in the season to be worried about 0.1 here and there and need to focus on making every transfer count.
You need to plan ahead not to have more than 3 missing gw28 so it is an argument for jrod but there may be other ways to achieve it also.Open Controls-
good pt. i was just seeing that gw 28 goin to b a mess so as to trying to have triple mci coverage for next 3 gw, and then boom gw 28 comes ...dont want to take a ht.

You on a good run of GWs, keep it up (whilst finishing just behind me of course). At the moment I keep taking 2 steps forward, 2 steps back so you could well be past me by this time next week
Open Controls-
Great rank given your bad start! I take it you prefer Negredo to Dzeko, me too but I'm waiting until Monday to decide who to get. I think adebayor shot run is over
Open Controls-
My rank is 80% getting the Suarez / augers captaincy 4 weeks in a row back when they alternated those massive scores, 20% getting on Ramsey early (despite regretting my knee jerk at the time). As you can see not a lot to get excited about lately but still have my WC for a potential massive DGW bonanza
It was almost a coin toss between negredo and dzeko, money was not really a factor as dzeko definitely better value. I feel negredo is main man in aguero absence, also dzeko had to play a lot go games lately, negredo bit more rested after shoulder injury. Negredo owners also been unlucky 2 massive hauls in cup competitions.
Ade won't keep it up in my view, city score for fun sharing points between their attackers, just make sure you have a solid plan fot GW 28/29 don't leave yourself too many missing playersOpen Controls

Once again the most important stat for mids finds out the points...Touches in the penalty area for the season...@no2..http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/4933/
Open Controls-
Really not sure how Walters and Snodgrass are doing so poorly this season.
Open Controls-
Poor strikers in their respective teams...in fact poor teams full stop. Any player in a good team who tops this chart is always good for points...and plenty of them.
Open Controls-
I know the striker makes a big difference. Just look at the boost Nolan has gotten from Carroll's return. I'm not expecting them to top the points chart, but I'd expect solid returns. Their strikers were poor last season too, and both did well.
Open Controls -
This being said, would you consider Snodgrass a much better prospect then say, Lennon?

Can anyone explain to me who may not have a fixture gw29??
Open Controls -
Mata vs Yaya, trying to decide on one this week. I know Mata is top quality and an attacking mid, but United still yet to inspire confidence.
Yaya is Yaya.
Both have nice fixtures, Yaya has more form and ownership.
Opinions?Open Controls-
i have both, i would think yaya is slightly the better pick
Open Controls -
Yaya
Open Controls -
it seems the main argument for not getting yaya is that he scores so many points that he is an obvious choice, and so if you pick him you are not actually doing anything interesting, but are in fact being a "casual" player.
Open Controls-
His ownership is a bit nuts now and he has been somewhat fortunate with set pieces. Stats aren't terrific either. But at some point, you have to admit he is scoring points for now and looks to continue.
Mata looks great in a poor team! But Yaya is in a team scoring for fun, so...:/Open Controls -
The main argument against Yaya is that there is no explanation for his goals. He's scored 3 off penalties, which he doesn't even take when Aguero is on the pitch, several from free kicks, and has a preposterous conversion percentage. This is non-sustainable. Defensive midfielders with limited set-piece duties don't score 20 goals in a season, even if they're among the best in the world like Toure is.

Mata not worth the investment

I can agree. Don't think I ever had silva.
To be honest I wish yaya, hazard and suarez all get hurt so the game gets interestingOpen Controls

I have the goalkeeper rotation of Marshall/Mannone. Is it worth doing Marshall to Boruc if I have Shaw? I can't do Adrian.
Open Controls-
-
Just not sure whether doubling up with Shaw might bite me.
Open Controls-
Plenty of teams did very nicely with a Soton double up earlier in the season..Then, as now, they had the easiest fixtures of all the teams (first ten GW's)..from GW11-20 they had the hardest fixtures of all the teams..which is when the points dried up.

Cheers Wakey. I will make that change.
