With just over a couple of hours to go before City and Chelsea go head-to-head at the Etihad, Paddy Power has come up with something a little different for those yet to register an account. Our bookmaker friends are tempting us with an offer of either 7/2 for City to grab a win or 8/1 for Chelsea to emerge victorious and end their hosts’ 100% home record:

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from a Money Back Special on offer at the Etihad tonight. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Samuel Eto’o score anytime.

To clarify, the City and Chelsea specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Why does Maureen always get so lucky?

I mean, city could still batter Chavs tonight, but he won't get a getter opportunity to beat City with their 2 best players out (Fern and Kun)

Please destroy that smug idiot and make every neutral happy Pellers 🙂

No...YOURS was a cool story bro. Honestly. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copied and pasted it to Word, saved it on my hard drive, backed it up on a USB stick, drove to the bank, put the USB stick in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells."

If you insist on using that patter, do it right.

Good move this starting Ramires in this role. I think he is gonna do a marking job on Silva. Make him run the other way

Matic + Luiz should be a better bet than Yaya + Demi. Willian and Hazard have to reduce the space between Eto'o and the midfield. This is where Ramires and his 20 lungs comes in.

I think tactically, its a very astute move by Jose

Started pretty much as I expected him to, I reckoned Matic would come in, the big question for me was whether he would play Luiz or Lampard in CM (Lampard seems to have played in a lot of these bus parking games both in the league and in Europe over the years) and he's gone for Luiz. Three defensively minded mids - can he lock it down.

That's probably how he's trained them... but he could try to attack City at the start before they get into a rhythm. They often take a while to break down teams, often at halftime it doesn't look great.

Well yeah, they'll stifle City - but nobody in that midfield can play any penetrative forward passes, so don't bank on them beating Yaya + Demi

They will have to man mark the whole forward line because City move the ball at some rate and most teams are chasing shadows.

Bets placed on Yaya to score anytime. Also Yaya to score last (he'll either go up the pitch if City are behind or get a penalty) and final result of 1-1 - both bets are refunded by paddy power if Eto'o scores.

If you score first City are fecked imo. Remember Mourinho said something like he will try to attack for the first 10-20 mins? I can see an attacking start from Chelsea before City get into a rhythm in that period. Set piece bombardment quite possibly, City are weak defending set pieces.

I believe he picked up a knock against AV and that's why he was subbed at HT

according to the pre-match discussion on BBC GMR today

Zaba is the best rb in the PL. Hard to argue there.

Discussing the 2nd the name that was decided on?

I doubt there's any manager who would choose Bardsley ahead of Coleman

Yeah right. United sold him because they have Rafael. Sagna, Coleman, Clyne, Azpilicueta all better..

I can think of 19 right backs in this league better than Bardsley of the top of my head.
But I agree with Zab over Coleman myself.
