What are your views on DGWs where one of the teams has 1 (or 2) bad fixtures? For example, when Sunderland have their DGW due to the postponement of their City game, is it still worth investing in them? Or should we treat it as a single GW since one of their games will be against City, with a possibility for negative points from their defenders?

Single GW plus 2 points in reality if one fixture is terrible. Unless it's a good option anyway, I don't bother as good options with one fixture usually outscore them

If you think that there is only 1 realistic possibility of a clean of the 2 games it is probably not worth a transfer as you could just play someone you already have on your team. Seems to only make sense to use a transfer on a defender for a DGW if you think there is a good chance at two cleans. Would normally prefer to use transfers for attackers.

4pts is still a decent return from a cheapie and with the potential for more. I'd reckon though all my trannies will be taken up stocking up on the big boys and dealing with the blanks

So valentines day tomorrow day tomorrow. Because I work nights and 4 days on 4 days off I am at work for most occasions (birthdays etc) for most of this year. So I am making a 3 course meal tomorrow night. I am sure we have some Masterchefs on here so what suggestions do you have. My main course is going to be Sirloin Steak which has a Porcini mushroom rub and homemead chunky chips. I need a starter and a dessert really. Hopefully not too unhealthy

Soup is easy for the starter (roasted butternut squash with paprika and cumin would be nice) as the main will be heavy. A salad with a oil, mustard and balsamic vinegar dressing would work too. Maybe for dessert you could do something you can make ahead if time and serve quickly like chocolate mousse

I made crepes with smoked salmon and cream cheese before. Stacked up in layers. Twas good. Mix in some herbs with the cream cheese aswell.

Neither has the 'keep Suarez on my wildcard and not double up with Sturridge since Suarez is bound to outscore him anyway' plan worked very well either!
The doubling up on Rooney and Mata hasn't exactly turned out a ton of points either.
Or going for McGregor instead of Adrian because McGregor is more assured of starts.
