Granville calls it a logic-defying season and this 300k ranked Fantasy manager isn’t going to argue with him. There’s plenty to tussle about in this week’s ScoutCast, however, as we lock virtual horns over Rooney vs van Persie, Baines vs Coleman and Aguero vs his hamstring.

In and around the regulars, it’s the incoming double Gameweeks that occupy our thoughts once more, with the community questions quizzing us on United’s Gameweek 31 potential, the Chelsea dilemma and the best player we’ve witnessed in the flesh. Granville puts forward a true talent: a three time FIFA World Player of the Year, no less. I nominated a floppy haired Geordie with a top 40 single. Truly logic-defying.

I want Baines to be the better option over Coleman, I really do! I haven't owned either this season and the differential of Baines would be a great way for me to make up ground.

One look at the shooting stats for Baines in the last 6 matches though and I think my mind it made up.

      I hear ya. Coleman is a great option as well. I think it's a lot like Terry vs Azp or similar. Everybody agrees Terry is the better pick money-no-option, but the endless discussion is "is it worth the premium?"

        I tend to look at attacking pts as bonus's really so would only double up on them for their likely two favourable dbl weeks in 31 and 34 (all indications are sun, CPA will be in 34) giving them 7 fixtures (6 favourable) over the next 5 gws.

I zig when Lukaku zags. I've dodged his goals with unerring accuracy.

I've owned him 3 times this season and been really positive about it each time and each time he has failed to deliver for me. This time round I'm skeptical - does that mean he will do well?

I'm entering the dark realms of second-guessing myself and mystical thinking now. Not good 😐

  Same here. He's frustrated me plenty a time this season alone. Good goalscoring form, bring him in for a game you'd expect him to score even more in, for him to contribute 2 points in a 4-1 win

    I did a little calculation a while back. I owned him for about the same number of weeks as not owning him. He scored around twice the points per game while I haven't had him. He hates me so much he would even jeopardise his career to annoy me.

I would quite like mata but has extra cost over AJ, and the rest of my team can be perfect with AJ.

    He probably will be, so someone with DGW is ideal.
    
    Can't see a point in upgrading another keeper. I will play Mannone in GW30, DGW31 and another 2 DGWs later. Not much left tbh. Prefer to have sth in the bank for changes in the field positions

  We're toying with returning to the evening recording next week - perhaps getting Jonty back in and a guest or two. Also, when we have our live event comments system, we might link that in and even things about streaming it live with an edited version appearing 24-hours later. Would need some planning but all options I'm considering.
