Prior to limping out of City’s Champions League defeat in Barcelona on Wednesday evening, Sergio Aguero was the runaway leader in this week’s Captain Poll. The Argentine has since been ruled out of tomorrow afternoon’s trip to Hull, scuppering many a Fantasy manager’s plan for this week and potentially beyond. Our Friday members regular returns once again as we look to the main contenders in this week’s Captain Poll for inspiration:

This week, we take a different approach to the Captain Sensible article and use the Stats Tables in the Members section as our guide. By using the top five players in this week’s Captain Poll (Aguero, Romelu Lukaku, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Adam Lallana) as a starting point, we’ve created a table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

    was initially planning on WCing this week but now with aguero out (one of the main reasons I was going to WC) plus the future DGWs, i'm thinking I might save my WC til gw 34 or later

        City have two dgw's though and getting Kun (if fit) for those could be massive.

        and my team is pretty well set up as is. the only differences between my gw 31 team with one hit and my wc team would be evra + cahill > zaba/kolarov + baines. and I'd probably swap out my 5th mid. is that worth it...?

    Plan was:
    This week - RVP - Sagna - Zaha > Aguero - Baines - Januzaj
    Next week - Boruc > Mcgregor

    But Aguero's injury has mucked this up - any advice? Do I just get him in this week even if he doesn't play? What about RVP to Lukaku and Sagna to Baines and Zaha to any mid - Santi? Stevie g?

      a Chelsea def is a must imo. If you have Terry, Azpi or Cahill then you could sell Ivan. Otherwise you should look for other options to get Baines

    As some of you might have noticed (or i guess in this case, haven't noticed) Innsie hasn't been on here all week because his internet is down. So while he is off the grid I will be filling in for Innsie's Weekly DZ draft for GW 30 and GW 31. I just realized that Innsie hasn't incorporated last week's score as well so I will get started on that and try to have the updated table within the hour.
