in GW 1 I put Ricky Van Wolfswinkel into my team, based on the fact that he was very cheap, had done very well in the championship the previous season, but MAINLY because of the name.
I am still a little sad that he didn't yet turn into a good PL player as its a great name to be screamed out in delight by a commentator, at least I imagine it is, because I have never heard a commentator scream it out in delight.

If you look at the points per game, it's Yaya on 6.9, Hazard on 6.3, then... Silva... on 5.8. Followed by Gerrard on 5.7.

Seriously though, it was mainly motivated by how every team now knows he is the man to mark after his hattrick. Since then he's averaged remarkably few shots, think it was 1.4 outside the box and 0.8 in the box. Even before that he wasn't shooting anywhere near as often as Bale. SCOUT PICK CHALLENGE - GAMEWEEK 31 QUARTER UPDATE
Well, it's been an incredible gameweek for most (and not so incredible for others...) and this has been mirrored by the SPC entries this week. In what is a very high scoring week so far, we currently having the rankings of:
1st - Zep (98pts)
2nd - McGrubbs (94pts)
3rd - Djerbil - Feyenoord at my Helm (93pts)
Bearing in mind these picks don't have a captain, that is very, very impressive and with plenty of games to go, we could see some super scores.
Currently, only Zep and McGrubbs are beating the Scout Picks + Differentials (93pts) for the additional bonus point. A lot to play for, and things will change... Keep a look out! There are a lot of players very close.
