This week is a good example of how the average doesn't tell the whole story. I got a 245k gameweek rank, but that pushed me from 10.4k to 6.5k, taking almost 40% off my rank. Most weeks I've seen nothing like that kind of increase. It's just that this week, those in my part of the rankings did unusually badly.
