There’s bad news and good news. Maybe. The bad news is that there’s no ScoutCast scheduled for this week. On the flipside, that’s because we’ve decided to take on a new approach which offers a new way to “enjoy” the weekly get-together with myself, Granville and any guests we persuade/cajole into joining us on air.

The ScoutCast is going live.

From next week we will be using Google Hangouts to stream the ScoutCast recording live. You’ll be able to tune in to the session and have the pleasure of seeing Granville and myself in our humble abodes and you’ll be able to interact live with us, during the recording, with Jonty joining us to fire us your questions and reactions.

If you can’t join us on the night, you’ll be able to download or view the ScoutCast Hangout shortly after the recording and, as usual, we’ll be publishing an edited version, in the usual mp3 format as a podcast, on Thursday evenings.

It will take time for us to adjust to this brave new world. The live stream will expose us, warts and all, to you the listener/viewer, but that’s a risk we’re prepared to take to improve interactivity and take the ScoutCast forward. Besides, with my current rank, I’m at rock bottom with nothing to lose.

Jonty will be setting up Hot Topics and a Twitter hashtag and, when our new live comments system is up and running (it’s looking good by the way), we’ll be embedding the live stream in this and you’ll be able to interact with us in real-time.

As well as Jonty’s return, we’ll be trying to bring in special guests on a weekly basis and we’ve already lined up the first victim for the opening show.

We’ll bring you more details on all this in the days to come and, if you want to be kept in the loop and get involved on the night, we recommend that you follow us on Google+ or Twitter to get the latest news and subscribe to our new YouTube channel, where all our ScoutCasts will be published from here on in.

If all goes to plan, we’ll see you, or rather, you’ll being seeing us, next Wednesday evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

If that extra money can benefit your team then go for it. I only slightly prefer Silva over Nasri because he's guaranteed to play most the time when Aguero is back.

Hi guys, hoping for some advice please, many thanks in advance

    My team:

Speroni - Bardsley, Coleman, Zabaleta, Shaw, - Yaya, Lallana, Barkley- SAS, Lukaku (c)

    Bench: Mannone, Hazard, Mutch, Rosenoir

    My question :

Should I ship out Hazard for a -4 (my transfer this week was getting in Barkley) probably get in Nasri or Silva for Haz. And bench Bardsley

    Many thanking yous.

Ok, may have finally settled on this
Hazard & Sturridge > Nasri &Aguero for free and just bench Evra rather than taking a hit, gives me a front 7 of Gerrard, Yaya, Nasri, Lallana
    Aguero, Lukaku, Suarez
God knows who to captain though? Any ideas.....have Baines too to throw in the mix?

    Good mornin all..

Happy to be in my first year playin BPL fantasy and amazingly in the top 5k! -thanks in part to this wonderful site and community.

Looking good in my league up by 90 points and so here's my squad for wk34:

I made a conservative move early in the week moving out Rooney for Dzeko.

I still have one Free Transfer and I'm debating where to use it.

    Howard
    Hazard-AJ-Gerrard-YaYa
    Lukaku(c)-Suarez-Dzeko

    Subs(JWP,Chester,Dummett,Gazz)

What to do... I have 5.0 in the bank!! And don't want to take any hits since I'm in first place. Have 3 City and 3 Everton players already. Should I move Hazard or go Dzeko to Aguero? Or move skertl and get a Chelsea Defender? Any suggestions welcome, thanks again!

On convined he is 100% fit. All the quotes etc were hinting that he could have even played last week but is purposely been held back for these games (Liverpool in particular). I'd be surprised if he doesn't play 120 minutes over the two games. 30 mins is plenty of time for him to do damage vs Sunderland provided he doesn't get injured before that. I'm chasing so he's getting my armband!

    What would you do?

    A. Play Terry
    B. Play Eriksen (-4)
    C. Play Puncheon (-4)

Terry is a doubt, so I'd say B

Also, Chelsea have been conceding goals away from SB lately

Ihmo the biggest risk if getting Aguero in this GW is not his form - it is no Sturridge against Norwich. So expected combined score of combinations of Sturridge+Aguero+Lukaku+Nasri/Silva over GW34+35 will be the determining factor. How much more will Aguero score than alternative City-player Nasri/Silva + Sturridge, + how many will Sturridge score against Norwich - those are the key questions.

that's an interesting thought... I could do Hazard/Mutch to Nasri/Eriksen and play 3-5-2 (benching Sturridge this GW)

I will personally in that case play Sturridge in a 4-3-3 probably since I only have 4 decent mids. But od course will lose sleep over potential Aguero big haul against Sunderland. But chances are he will not play more than needed to actually beat the Cats, and then rest him?

Any contractual obligation with the EPL that Chelsea have to give a press conference?

i.e. Will their no.2 do it instead of JM or is it just not happening?

Looks safe enough, don't like AJ myself but if Sunderland do cause any problems then its likely to be through him.

Between those two, I'm not sure. You'd need Punch to outscore AJ by 4pts (stating the obvious) and CRY don't score that many, they don't play CDF twice this GW!

How about, Hazard for Nasri and Mutch for Erikson (wba / FUL next two weeks)

Should have money ITB to do Sturridge > Rooney week after next fitness permitting set yourself up for Man Utds home games and DGW in weeks in GW 36/37
