John Terry is a doubt for Chelsea’s trip to Swansea. Arsene Wenger confirms Aaron Ramsey will start in the FA Cup. James Morrison has emerged as a fitness worry for West Brom. Tim Krul could return between the sticks for Newcastle. Aston Villa and Fulham receive injury boosts ahead of clashes with Crystal Palace and Norwich respectively, whilst Leon Osman is the only Everton doubt for the trip to Wearside, with Phil Jagielka missing out yet again:

Reports suggest that John Terry is a doubt for Chelsea’s trip to Swansea after picking up a foot problem. Fantasy managers waiting for news of Eden Hazard’s calf injury could be left none the wiser heading into the weekend deadline after Jose Mourinho appears to have cancelled his usual Friday lunchtime press conference.

Artur Boruc and Gaston Ramirez remain doubtful with the back and ankle problems that kept them out of last week’s game against Man City. Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed both will be assessed prior to tomorrow’s home encounter with Cardiff.

Ahead of the FA Cup clash with Wigan, Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey is ready to feature from the start as he builds up his match fitness. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Tomas Rosicky are all doubts to face Wigan and, whilst Laurent Koscielny is definitely out of Saturday’s fixture, he could recover in time to face the Hammers in midweek. Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil could return from a hamstring injury in time for next week’s clash with Hull.

James Morrison is the Baggies’ only injury concern for the visit of Spurs with a muscle problem. Morrison will undergo a late fitness test, with Mel confirming that Chris Brunt will deputise in central midfield should Morrison not recover, in what is also expected to be an otherwise unchanged starting XI.

Newcastle could receive a boost ahead of the trip to the Britannia with Alan Pardew suggesting that Tim Krul “has a chance” of playing following injury. Loic Remy has resumed training but this weekend will come too soon for the Frenchman, confirms Pardew. Mathieu Debuchy is expected to return to training next week following a groin injury, according to reports.

Gabby Agbonlahor, Karim El Ahmadi and Fabian Delph have all been declared fit for the trip to Crystal Palace, having missed out last weekend through illness and injury respectively.

Fulham will welcome back Scott Parker to the squad for the crucial Canaries clash this weekend. Dan Burn and Giorgos Karagounis are also available for selection once more. Felix Magath, though, has ruled out both Kostas Mitroglou and Moussa Dembele, with the latter taking part in the Dallas Cup with Fulham’s youth squad.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Leon Osman remains the only new injury doubt for the trip to Sunderland with an eye injury, with the squad expected to be the same as it was against Arsenal. A behind-closed-doors friendly has been arranged for Phil Jagielka next week, to allow the central defender to build up his match fitness following a hamstring injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Who would you bench this week with Mata ? Have 0 FT and 3 players doubtful, is it worth taking a hit - have 1.0m in the bank ?

    Cech, Speroni
    Kolarov, Chambers, Coleman, Chester, Vlaar
Barkley, Yaya Toure, Ki Sung-Yueng, Hazard, Mata
    Suarez, Lukaku, Aguero

    Thanks for any advice 🙂

How does an aggressive, balls-out set of moves like this look (-8)?

Kinda short term and risky. Everton has rough fixtures, and Aguero is really a gamble at this point.

Well yeah, but (and this is pretty unbiased even though im a fan) i dont expect City to score tons at Anfield as Liverpool have pretty much been dominating these games the past few years, and Aguero might not even start any of the two. That said, its still City, and its still Aguero, we all know what they can do. Baines is very good for the double, not so much going forward. Sturridge has been kind of hit and miss lately, but then again its against his former club, i expect him to be extra motivated.

all reports saying aguero is fit to start, but we all assumed he would start liverpool game and miss sunderland, so how does this help us?

Is it really worth juggling things to get him for what may only be an away game at the in form team of the league, along with everton, when city would be happy with a draw?

If he's 100% for Liverpool which going by comments seems to be the case, and why he wasn't chanced at Southampton last week, then I see no reason why he wouldn't feature against Sunderland either.

you can assume you will get your 4 back v sunderland, so if he has few saves then you will make small points profit, but then you will have him for rest of season. So if you don't think you will need that 1 million odd then go for it

    Boruc

    Cahill azpi coleman

    Lallana Silva Yaya Hazard*

    Sturridge Suarez Lukaku

    - 2 free transfers, 0.1 mil in the bank.

    - Depending on team news, I was thinking:

    > Hazard to Ramsey
    > Sturridge to Aguero

Which leaves me with about 0.8 mil in the bank.

Is this a good idea or are there any better suggestions? Thanks!

Nope. Think he'll play 120 mins tops. Armband firmly on Lukaku.

    B) Sturridge > Aguero
    C) Do both for a -4 hit.

    Boruc (Davis)
    Coleman Azpil Ward Mariappa
    Yaya Nasri Mirallas (mata Noone)

So based on what was just said on SSN, Courtois will be able to play against Chelsea without Atletico paying a penny.

As a Dzeko owner it wouldn't be the end of the world if Aguero gets the Liverpool game as Dzeko would surely then be more likely for Sunderland, which is preferable.

If offered 20 mins vs Liverpool along with 70-90 vs Sunderland for Dzeko right now I would take it.

    Why i am getting aguero
    1) importantly i can afford to do sturridge to aguero without a hit
    2) i predict he will get 90mins roughly which is the same as sturridge but some of those minutes are sunderland at home
    3) i will want him beyond this week, getting nasri or dzeko as my 3rd city means at least one extra transfer to get him later
    4) if it does not work put i am only 1ft / 4 pts from picking any other striker and getting on with the rest of the season
    5) despite surely been well short of match fitness he is still the second most explosive player in the league and you never know
