Sunday could well be a day of reckoning. While Liverpool clash head-on with City at Anfield, Chelsea’s hopes of keeping pace with that pair in the title race will rest on their ability to dispose of struggling Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

The opening clash of the day, just minutes away, undoubtedly commands the bulk of our attention. City will arrive at Anfield looking to halt a charge from Brendan Rodgers’ side that has seen the Merseysider outfit win nine league matches on the spin. City turn up with Sergio Aguero fit but named only on the bench as Manuel Pellegrini keeps faith with Edin Dzeko and makes just one change – Gael Clichy returns as the rotation with Aleks Kolarov continues at left-back. Vincent Kompany is in the lineup despite a training ground injury on Saturday. There’s no such issues for Liverpool – Rodgers puts out an unchanged side as Mamadou Sakho retains his start at the back, despite Dan Agger returning to fitness; the Dane is named amongst the subs.

We’ll bring you the teamsheet news from today’s game in South Wales via our Twitter feed, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open for those looking for some real-time reactions during totday’s vital encounters.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Okay I might've been wrong and I apologise for that. I personally didn't hear it from my TV, although I looked on Twitter and others are saying there was some singing. But I'm sick of taking shite every week from this child, painting all fans of whatever team as "scum", and getting insults just because of the team I support, week in week out, especially when you know he wouldn't say any of those insults to my face.

It's grating, because it's the same few every week, name calling, insults, insulting my mother, etc.. and can see what they're trying to do. Funny thing is, I bet I've supported Chelsea for longer than he has been alive. Like someone said earlier, I think it was Applebonkers about generalising about fans. Amusingly, it was to this kid I'm replying to here.

No need to apologize - you weren't the one singing! Internet is terrible for it, it's difficult to distinguish sometimes between those who are out to upset someone for their enjoyment and those who are out to upset someone as a result of having had someone upset them. Giggs Boson put it well yesterday with 'the abused abuse'. Anyway, just let it wash over you.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've been guilty of that too, I don't dislike Arsenal at all but do react and get my own back on the few Arsenal windups on here as they've personally singled me out. It's all banter as far as I'm concerned, as my family are Arsenal fans and I'm used to a laugh, but when people start insulting others over it and being seriously hateful, it's getting silly.

It's probably because Hillsborough was followed by a monumental cover-up, so the remembrance is not just a remembrance, but a righting of a wrong. There's needle to it.

Yeah it's a delicate balancing act not getting too political about it. I suppose it's implied, they don't actually come out and say they are righting a wrong, but for many there that's what it represents.

The cause of the Bradford deaths wasn't covered up by the police. The people of Liverpool had and have every right to be angry about what happened in Hillsborough.

As for Heysel, it probably is a big deal - in Italy.
