Sunday could well be a day of reckoning. While Liverpool clash head-on with City at Anfield, Chelsea’s hopes of keeping pace with that pair in the title race will rest on their ability to dispose of struggling Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

The opening clash of the day, just minutes away, undoubtedly commands the bulk of our attention. City will arrive at Anfield looking to halt a charge from Brendan Rodgers’ side that has seen the Merseysider outfit win nine league matches on the spin. City turn up with Sergio Aguero fit but named only on the bench as Manuel Pellegrini keeps faith with Edin Dzeko and makes just one change – Gael Clichy returns as the rotation with Aleks Kolarov continues at left-back. Vincent Kompany is in the lineup despite a training ground injury on Saturday. There’s no such issues for Liverpool – Rodgers puts out an unchanged side as Mamadou Sakho retains his start at the back, despite Dan Agger returning to fitness; the Dane is named amongst the subs.

We’ll bring you the teamsheet news from today’s game in South Wales via our Twitter feed, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open for those looking for some real-time reactions during totday’s vital encounters.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

With football the only ( albeit the biggest ) game in the world that is so reluctant to embrace technology, we witness week in and week out the most ridiculous game changing decisions.
No one wants to change the flow of the game and tbf no one wants to see this.
However in the interests of fair play - What about something like they do in cricket - Give each Cpt 2 appeals - If they see something that is an incorrect call, they can challenge, and get an immediate referral. It will be in their interests to save those challenges for those most ridiculous ref decisions that we have to witness every week..
Only 2 appeals in a whole game will cost the fewest of minutes , and if they make frivolous appeals, well then its 2 and no more.
Was routing for Pool today , but hey cmon -----------------

I agree with you, every week. Pool definitely had a penalty claim, City had Skrtel punch the ball away, a lot of that stuff could be fixed. Then again, makes it harder for the men at the top to make money from rigging games 😉

I am sure there will be some on here who will find it amusing that I had the GENIOUS idea of putting the armband on YAYA this week.

That, and Bardsley in defence with a big fat one point and a red flag, is somewhat taking the shine off my delight at having Silva and Ward in my team.

In 1910, the average cost of a movie ticket was $0.07. Adjusted for inflation, a movie ticket in 1910 would work out to about $1.71 in 2013 dollars.

Movie Ticket Stub - Illustration In 1924, the cost of a movie ticket was $0.25, which works out to about $3.33 in 2013 dollars.

The cost of a movie theater ticket would slowly rise throughout the late '20s and early '30s before hitting a brick wall. The cause? The "Great Depression". In 1933, the inflation-adjusted cost of a movie theater ticket was $6.14 - by 1937, this number had dropped all the way back down to $3.97 (inflation adjusted) as Americans struggled to afford nights out.
