With three matches still remaining of the Gameweek, we scour the post-match reports and injury rooms around the country to assess who has picked up problems over the weekend:

Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have emerged as doubts for tomorrow’s game against West Ham, Arsene Wenger has revealed. The Gunners boss confirmed both are suffering from muscle tightness after their exertions in last weekend’s FA Cup semi-final against Wigan, whilst Nacho Monreal and Lukas Podolski are also uncertain to feature. The latter pair were forced off against the Latics after picking up leg and muscle problems respectively.

Aston Villa
Leandro Bacuna missed Villa’s trip to Palace on Saturday after picking up a hamstring problem in training the day before.

Crystal Palace
Kagisho Dikgacoi lasted just 19 minutes of the weekend win over Villa before being subbed off with a knock.

Fulham
Cauley Woodrow missed the Cottagers’ 1-0 win over Norwich due to injury, the club’s official website has confirmed.

Liverpool
Daniel Sturridge was subbed off with 25 minutes remaining of the win over City due to a hamstring problem, Brendan Rodgers confirmed to the club’s official website:

“He felt a wee bit of tightness in his hamstring, so we’ll see how that is in the next couple of days.”

Man City
Yaya Toure was forced off with just 19 minutes on the clock during City’s loss at Liverpool due to a groin complaint. With the second match of his double Gameweek just two days away, the Ivorian is set for tests today, as Manuel Pellegrini confirmed:

“It’s difficult for Yaya to be in the next game. We will see tomorrow, I don’t know how serious he is injured. I think it will be difficult for him to finish playing this season.”

Newcastle
Davide Santon missed the 1-0 defeat at Stoke last weekend with an unspecified knock.

West Brom
Jonas Olsson will be assessed after being forced off with an Achilles issue in Saturday’s draw with Spurs. Pepe Mel remains hopeful the centre-half will be available for the trip to City a week today.

“He’s trained this week with some Achilles problems. Tomorrow he’ll undergo tests and we hope to have him for Monday week’s game.”

West Ham
Kevin Nolan is a concern for the Hammers’ trip to Arsenal tomorrow evening. In his pre-match press conference earlier today, Sam Allardyce revealed the midfielder is struggling to overcome a hamstring problem in time for the Emirates encounter.

My gameweek 36 defence doesn't look so good:

    Baines(sou) - Ward (MCI) - Cahill(liv) - Azpi(liv) - Reid(wba)

    Uh-oh.

Think that'll be the case for most. Thinking either Jones in for a cheapie and play Baines + Cahill (bench Azpi) or just suck it up and do Jones in for Baines and play the double Chelsea, hope for shut-out and if not they have NOR, car to make up for it.

If I do get a defender, it'll be for a hit seeing as I want to get Mata that week.

It'll come down to keeping and playing Lallana and getting, for example, Jones, or getting in Mata and playing one of those defenders alongside Baines and Cahill.

        What do you think?

Not sure, need to see how Southampton do this GW. Another blank or poor performance would mean Mata will take priority. Can always hope for a Chelsea cleanie, done it vs United, City and Arsenal (A).

I think lots of people will be scrambling and taking hits in the next 3 GWs. Issues surrounding Haz, Aguero, Yaya, Sturridge and so much more. Should make it a very interesting run-in.

matic cup tied, ok. he's clearly a main man under mou and isn't competing with hazard, willian and schurrle for 3 spots each week. salah cup tied, yeah he stands a better chance now, and i always admire a punt, but still more questions than answers i feel. would be more confident if he had a stronger performance v swansea

Well I went for Schurrle over Eriksen (and Salah) and was duly rewarded with 40 minutes and a yellow card. Do feel he will continue to get minutes, Mou won't rush Hazard back with champions league to play for ..

It won't be-I got this ridiculous response from FPL Towers:

      Thanks for your e-mail.

In-game data is provided by Opta and their decision is taken as final. Unfortunately, it appears as though they may have missed Distins' yellow card.

      However, from the rules:
'For the avoidance of doubt, points awarded in-game are subject to change up until one hour after the final whistle of the last match of any given day. Once the points have all been updated on that day, no further adjustments to points will be made.'

As this deadline has now passed, the yellow card will not be updated on the FPL site, therefore the 3 bonus points for Distin will remain.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

      Regards,
      Fantasy Premier League Support

Yep, said the following(but no response yet):

Hi-very disappointing. I can understand differences due to things being less than clear but this is a 'fact' and within the spirit of the game should have been changed or over ridden as you have done previously(even after a day or two) with other pieces of play that are judgemental(Suarez assist on handball etc.)
              Very unsatisfactory.

I use fourfourtwo statzone and Squawka - both have some useful player-by-player info for a given game (heatmap, passes received / made etc) which gives you a rough idea. Not going to be as useful as the member tables though I'm sure.

Although I really like the Ufpl game there are a couple of flaws which need fixing before next season..

The fact I benched kolorov for the Liverpool game and now even though he didn't play I cannot bring him on for the second of the DGW games is silly.... The final deadline becomes pointless in this case...

It's got potential, although I've realised now it's a struggle for me to keep up to date with one fantasy game all season let aloe two. I kept the Sky game going for only about 4 GWs this year before forgetting about it. Will choose one of FPL and UFPL next year I think

To be fair I do understand the logic of having 'missed' him for the gameweek. I brought in Sturridge yesterday(and took out Lukaku) but now take him out for Carroll who hasn't started the gameweek yet.

The final deadline in your example is the second game of a dgw which isn't really catered for but is a rearranged game.

Not sure this aspect will change.

It should change though..... Would make it much better... DGW's can be played more tactically... You should always be able to bring on someone from your bench IMO if he has another game and you chose to bench him for the first game...

Understand your point but as long as you know 'thems the rules' you need to play your dgw players from the outset. As I say I understood this so set it up to only bring in Liverpool and Wham if I needed to if dgw players didn't perform well in first game and I thought others may outscore them vs second game.

It's a very healthy approach, this, to interpret by yourself an unclear situation. I've chosen a disastrous approach: i've emailed them (before the first DGW) and asked about it. They've responded that if the player hasn't played in the first game of the week, he will be able to climb from the bench for the second. I think i saw on the FISO forum that somebody else asked too and got the same response. So it's no "them's the rules", it's misleading the players (and of course, it's illogical, as Old School says, because the last deadline doesn't make sense anymore - which is actually the reason why i've asked the question in the first place, but that's not the biggest problem here). It's actually funny that those who try to understand perfectly the rules are punished for it, lol. But ok, it's beta, nobody gives a damn about this game anyway, so we can do anything, even mislead the players, who cares.

Fair enough...but my interpretation of the rules seems to be how it is being played so ipso facto 'thems the rules'.

                The rules:

•Replace any player who has not received a red card, with one from your bench whose team is yet to play in the Gameweek.

Pretty clear to me-their team has played and so cannot be used....

I have the e-mail with their response. It's not even about the logic of the rule, it's about the fact that they have mislead the players.

Agreed. Pretty pissed off I can't bring Kolarov in either. Thought it was a calculated risk to assume he would play 0 vs Liverpool and yet it has backfired tremendously!

so just 4 GWs to catch up 35 points lead.

    Main differential are:

Me: Mannone, +1 CHE defender, Chester, Noone (meh!), Nasri, AJ, Aguero
Him: Adrian, Demel, Flanagan, Barkley, Januzaj, Silva, Sturridge

Where am I looking for some changes in my team to increase chances for catching him up?
I think Aguero (C ) next week is the first step, hmmm?

I have 0.6M in the bank.

3-5-2 worth a look to finish the season?

    Silva - Gerrard - Mata - Eriksen - Ramsey

    Suarez - Aguero

Don't see a third striker option really outside of Aguero and Suarez.

Ramsey is not really fit, he will miss the game tomorrow.
Although Sturridge is injured, Lukaku, Adebayor, Lambert and even Jelavic/long (with a DGW 36) remain good options.
I am waiting for news on Rooney and RVP because I plan to have Rooney for DGW36.

    Eriksen/Puncheon/Yaya/Snodgrass/Nasri
    Lukaku/Aguero/Suarez

Thinking about rolling out a 3-5-2 for the rest of the season so how do these moves look?
This week: Snodgrass, Lukaku and Yaya > Gerrard, Kane and Schurrle -8
    Next week: Puncheon > Mata

Feels like we're going to have to wait EVS - and deal with those price changes.

With games (and potential injuries/suspensions) on Weds anyway, surely we just have to be patient and change plans if we get priced out of others. [talking from some bad experience this season!]

Needs to get rid of a City player to bring in Aguero. Not sure why he's rushed it though with City playing tomorrow. Also think getting Nasri out for Eriksen instead of Zab > Flanagan would've repaid his hit better.
