With three matches still remaining of the Gameweek, we scour the post-match reports and injury rooms around the country to assess who has picked up problems over the weekend:

Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have emerged as doubts for tomorrow’s game against West Ham, Arsene Wenger has revealed. The Gunners boss confirmed both are suffering from muscle tightness after their exertions in last weekend’s FA Cup semi-final against Wigan, whilst Nacho Monreal and Lukas Podolski are also uncertain to feature. The latter pair were forced off against the Latics after picking up leg and muscle problems respectively.

Aston Villa
Leandro Bacuna missed Villa’s trip to Palace on Saturday after picking up a hamstring problem in training the day before.

Crystal Palace
Kagisho Dikgacoi lasted just 19 minutes of the weekend win over Villa before being subbed off with a knock.

Fulham
Cauley Woodrow missed the Cottagers’ 1-0 win over Norwich due to injury, the club’s official website has confirmed.

Liverpool
Daniel Sturridge was subbed off with 25 minutes remaining of the win over City due to a hamstring problem, Brendan Rodgers confirmed to the club’s official website:

“He felt a wee bit of tightness in his hamstring, so we’ll see how that is in the next couple of days.”

Man City
Yaya Toure was forced off with just 19 minutes on the clock during City’s loss at Liverpool due to a groin complaint. With the second match of his double Gameweek just two days away, the Ivorian is set for tests today, as Manuel Pellegrini confirmed:

“It’s difficult for Yaya to be in the next game. We will see tomorrow, I don’t know how serious he is injured. I think it will be difficult for him to finish playing this season.”

Newcastle
Davide Santon missed the 1-0 defeat at Stoke last weekend with an unspecified knock.

West Brom
Jonas Olsson will be assessed after being forced off with an Achilles issue in Saturday’s draw with Spurs. Pepe Mel remains hopeful the centre-half will be available for the trip to City a week today.

“He’s trained this week with some Achilles problems. Tomorrow he’ll undergo tests and we hope to have him for Monday week’s game.”

West Ham
Kevin Nolan is a concern for the Hammers’ trip to Arsenal tomorrow evening. In his pre-match press conference earlier today, Sam Allardyce revealed the midfielder is struggling to overcome a hamstring problem in time for the Emirates encounter.

I wouldn't say it's the end of the world at all. No Rooney and no RvP means a clean sheet is a distinct possibility. Besides, Utd are pretty shakey at the back - wouldn't put it past either of them to get attacking returns.

Anyone with a wildcard left thought about when they're going to play it? Currently looking at GW 35-36 so that hopefully there's a bit more information on prognosis of the likes of yaya, hazard, sturridge, rooney etc; set up for ManU run of Nor, Sun/Hul; get aguero in if he's not broken down for his double in 37, and tweak for the run in general...

Fecking City fixture crap and their players that always get injured when I buy them have ruined this season for me. I was so well positioned to take over on the second half of the season. Everybody envied my team. And it all turned into pure shite. I'm bloody close to give up this game as a bad mistake.

Well, last chance punts next two GW's, but I'm in a complete mess now that I had to waste my 2FT on Hazard and Boruc for this GW that left me with injured YaYa and Studge along with the triple Everton coverage that I was planning to reduce to just one for next GW. Now I have to take a hit and I still am left with 3 Everton for their horrid run of fixtures.

May wait until GW37. There are so many injuries about.
And by GW37, we will know who is going down, who is fighting for their life etc.

The final GW38 always throws up some crazy results, anyway!

They had to change the Distin/Baines/Stones points in my opinion.

They made an exception to the rule for Suarez a few weeks ago, so they had to be consistent and do the same for Distin.

Well that's my flirtation with UPL over and done with.........

7 injuries, a number of players seemingly out of favour, and suddenly a squad of 25 players doesn't' seem big enough!

Added to which I missed the Matchday 2 deadline.... and it was pretty crucial not to miss this one.

It would be too frustrating not to give it 100%.....and that would take too much effort....

The suffix -gate derives from the Watergate scandal of the United States in the early 1970s, which resulted in the resignation of U.S. President Richard Nixon. The scandal was named after the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C

Precisely. So why are all these other scandals called -gates?

Original Watergate had nothing to do with any gates. It was the name of the of the complex (Democratic National Committee headquarters) where this scandal took place, and this may shock you and about 5 billion others, but the name of the complex was not Water but Watergate. With the logic that the journalists of today name scandals, it would have been called "Watergategate-scandal".

Maybe. But call me a drag, but I have always hated that suffix. Like really hated, from the gut. If a journalist would use it in my presence I would beat him with his own shoe until he understood that there never was a "Water-gate". It is WATERGATE for heaven's sake!

B - At least the two big hitters are spot on. Is the budget option bench fodder and if so have you considered Amilfitano? DGW to come and cheaper than both aj and Barkley

Nah it's which one I will transfer out Barkley can go for a sub 9.0 player whilst AJ lets just about any budget.

Wait and see what happens to Aguero on Wednesday. If you have Suarez already then it's a good switch. I am still waiting for news on YYT as I bought him at 8.6 so I don't want to shift him yet until we know how bad the damage is.

    FA Cup final:
Both clubs will get 25,000 for the final on 17 May, despite Arsenal having had 49,000 for Saturday's semi-final.
