PlayON, the weekly Fantasy Football game, is rolling out a mini-Gameweek over the next couple of days. This comprises of the three fixtures taking place over Tuesday and Wednesday, and with three of the top five all set to face favourable home matches, we scour the PlayON Price List for potential bargains:

There is a £500 GUARANTEED pot on offer for the mini-gameweek – you can enter your team on the multiplayer page here.

If you’re new to PlayON, it is weekly Fantasy Football so you can dip in and out of playing throughout the season. Once your starting XI is built, you can compete for cash. You can challenge other players to one-on-one games, selecting the amount at stake. The likes of Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand and OptaJoe are all playing the game and are there to be challenged for free or for £1. The Fantasy Football Scout team is also available to be challenged and has a 52% win rate up to this point. You can also create an open challenge against anyone else on the site – just click the amount you want to play for and the number of slots (number of people who can accept your challenge) on the one-on-one page .

For a more in-depth introduction to PlayON, take a look at this season’s introduction article.

Goalkeeper – Wojciech Szczesny
The Arsenal number one sets you back just 7.1m for this evening’s home game against West Ham. Arsene Wenger’s side have conceded just 10 times in front of their own fans this term, and bearing in mind the Hammers have mustered a mere 14 goals on their travels, a home shut-out could be on the cards. Coming in at 9.4m, City’s Joe Hart is relatively budget friendly for a home showdown with a Sunderland side that has found the net only four times in their last eight league matches.

Defender – Per Mertesacker
Once again, the Arsenal defence looks superb value for their home encounter with Sam Allardyce’s side. Mertesacker was in the goals in last weekend’s FA Cup win over Wigan and will be looking for his third league strike of the season later this evening – he can be acquired for only 7.8m in the PlayON Player Price List. With doubts over the Man City left-back berth and Vincent Kompany looking less than 100% against Liverpool on Sunday, we opt for Pablo Zabaleta (9.9m) as the safest route into Manuel Pellegrini’s backline at home to Sunderland, whilst six-goal Seamus Coleman, at 10.0m, is the cheapest of Everton’s back-four to face Palace at Goodison.

Midfielder – David Silva
City’s playmaker is arguably turning in his most impressive displays of the season ahead of a home game against struggling Sunderland. The Black Cats have managed a single clean sheet in eight, and with Manuel Pellegrini’s side scoring nine times in their last two matches at the Etihad, it could be a long night for the visitors. With three goals in his last six, Silva – available for 10.3m – looks poised to wreak havoc tomorrow evening as City attempt to bounce back from their loss at Liverpool. Elsewhere, Aaron Ramsey costs just 7.0m for the Gunners’ clash with West Ham. The Welshman was reported to be a slight doubt by Arsene Wenger in yesterday morning’s press conference but has since been pictured in training and is expected to return for tonight’s crucial match as the Gunners look to get their bid for a fourth place finish back on track. Finally, Gareth Barry (9.4m) offers a reliable route into Everton’s midfield. Whilst other options may be more explosive, Barry’s consistency of starts and deep-lying role has earned him 500+ points in four of his last five appearances, with the PlayON Scoring Matrix suited to his style of play.

Forward – Sergio Aguero
The Argentine will be hoping for a starting role at home to Sunderland tomorrow after signalling his injury comeback against Liverpool with a second-half sub appearance off the bench. Due to his lengthy stint on the sidelines, Aguero remains very budget friendly and comes in at only 8.3m – having scored nine times in as many matches at the Etihad, he’ll be confident of breaching Gus Poyet’s porous backline as City search for a fifteenth win in front of their own supporters. Edin Dzeko remains in contention, though, and could even start alongside Aguero if City opt for two up front. Priced at 12.0m, the Bosnian has four goals in his last five and affords us a strong double-up option for our two-man frontlines. Everton’s Romelu Lukaku will be looking to atone for a weekend blank at Sunderland. The big Belgian – who is available for 12.2m – has scored in three of his last four home appearances and welcomes Palace to Goodison tomorrow evening.

Good point. We can't do anything about Sunderland game anymore, so it's actually possibly just one match.

Still, one match where I would play him may be too much at this point. I will wait over the Sunderland match in any case. Because I will have three City players for the rest of the matches in any event, and I don't want to get one now just to see him getting injured tomorrow.

The price changes are pretty irrelevant at this point if I give up on both Studge and YaYa.

So Yaya looks set to miss a couple of games.

Who are you guys shipping him for? Anyone keeping?

I'm probably going to bring in Sterling/Gerrard for him this week, then bring in Mata the week after for Mutch or Sterling. Which would mean it might be a 1 week punt with Sterling vs Norwich.

watched all 5 of those city games.. apart from that one run he made from Silva's offside ball he really has not been threatening whatsoever. couple of those assists have come from the few set pieces he takes. He really was much more of a threat 5+ games ago. still worth a punt i guess

He also set up the GJ own goal that Silva assisted..

I feel Nasri is inconsistent but has the ability to do well when City do well, so he's a bit of a punt, but a punt based on City doing well for the season.

More attacking will be needed from him without Yaya.

Starts good but it falls into boring repetitiveness. The Batman films are far superior.

Agree. Nolans batman trilogy stands alone however in the superhero film genre. Spoiler alert, Costners scene where he stops Clark from saving him is a great moment, although it was a little tainted with a plot hole( Clark had plenty time to get him at normal speed)

The first third of the film is an interesting opening but the final act is just an hour and a half of two guys fighting. There's some 9/11 imagery thrown in there to provoke emotion and a lot of imagery of Superman being portrayed as the saviour

    Boruc
    Cahill - Ward - Coleman
    Silva - Yaya - Gerrard - Eriksen
    Aguero - Suarez - Lukaku

    (Mannone - Shaw - Barkley - Chester)
    .7 itb.

Use free transfer to do Yaya ->Mata ?
Will get in Zaba as 3rd City player next week instead of Coleman.

Didn't Giggs have a similar groin/adductor injury to Yaya a few seasons back, and he missed about six weeks. Anyone remember what I'm thinking of?

Don't remember but if so that's promising for Yaya keepers. If Giggs can recover from an injury in 6 weeks Yaya can easily recover from the same one in 2.

These YaYa keepers do have a point though. We're probably only going to miss one more match than we would miss anyway as SUN will be missed in any case.

Are we really sure that we can find a midfielder able to outscore YaYa, in basically same number of matches as YaYa has a DGW coming?

And are we really going to take a hit to offload YaYa for one match only? I at least do have more acute problems in my team than YaYa missing a GW.

is anyone getting the FIFA World Cup game? or do you not think it's worth the money if you already have FIFA 14?

I like the world cup games, usually a big gameplay improvement. Probably will avoid this one though, ps4 + FIFA 15 for Xmas!

with the match tonight all the news was yesterday. the doubts are ramsey, podolski, oxlade chamberlain and koscielny. all trained yesterday, based on that session wenger will make his mind up on their availability.
      i'm personally predicting:
      szczesny
      sagna, mertesacker, koscielny, gibbs
      kallstrom, arteta
      cazorla, rosicky, podolski
      giroud
